We stopped here while passing by, just to have some snacks and cake. The place is really beautiful. The cake and puffs were good too. It’s a bit expensive, but feels worth it for the kind of cafe it is. The hotel rooms here also looked nice from what we could see. One thing to note: this is a pet-friendly cafe, with a lot of cats and dogs around. If you’re not comfortable with that, it’s better to avoid.

The place was amazing and the food is really tasty.Do visit the place in the morning for the breakfast and they have the buffet as well there. We tried the buffet and the experience was seamless. The per person cost of the buffet was 500 and which was pretty reasonable. Similarly there are non-buffet options as well. Which was good as well. They have the residential stay as well. Must go and must try place in Goa.

The English breakfast was spot-on—delicious, hearty, and beautifully presented. From the eggs to the sausages and toast, everything was fresh and flavorful. The ambiance is magical—lush garden seating, cozy vibes, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the overall energy of the place was just perfect. Great food, great people, great memories. Highly recommend for anyone looking to start their day right in Goa! The item we ordered -- We ordered butter chicken Crossiant sandwich then Grilled Chicken Sandwich,Penne Chicken Pasta which is a must try ,Fish and chips recommended ,shashuka egg highly recomended ,potato wedges ,for sweet we ordered biscoff cheese cake slice and Banoffe Pie slice ,both are highly recommended . “From buttery croissant sandwiches to the unforgettable penne chicken pasta, every bite at Cafe Cotinga was a celebration of flavor, friendship, and the kind of morning that lingers sweetly—just like the biscoff cheesecake and banoffee pie we ended with.” All the items in the menu are available and they server till 3 am in the morning . This review is for The Tamarind Hotel and Café Cotinga, right in the heart of the property. I honestly don’t even know where to begin—we absolutely love living and dining here. The location is perfect, the food and drinks are to die for, and the overall vibe just feels special. The service is truly impeccable. Sit Mondal and Basant Mondal are absolute stars—always attentive, always warm, and always serving with a genuine smile, even during the busiest times like Christmas and New Year’s Eve when the place is buzzing. That level of grace under pressure really stands out. We’ve been coming here for the last three years, and it genuinely feels like a small family now. Gaurav, who leads both the café and the hotel, is always welcoming and makes every visit feel personal. The café and hotel are pure joy—amazing food, wonderful stays, and what really touches our hearts is how they rescue and lovingly care for dogs on the property. That kindness says everything. Simply love, love, love this place.

The place has such a peaceful atmosphere during brunch-lunch hours. Food was nice. Indoor seating has a cozy dim lit ambiance. You’ll also spot friendly dogs and cats in the open areas. They could work a lot on being attentive when a new customer walks in, rest everything went smooth. Recommend them

Had a really warm and nice experience here! We tried pizza and fries from their continental menu and the quantity is amazing! The service is the best part..staff is well behaved and very polite and welcoming! Don't forget to pack dessert from the counter!

Absolute waste of money. The staff seemed more interested in talking on the phone than attending to customers, and it clearly wasn’t an official call (calling someone “Jaan” says enough). I ordered a pepperoni pizza, and it was honestly disappointing. It didn’t come with the complete ingredients mentioned on the menu. When I pointed it out, the staff casually responded with “Dala to hai, sir.” He then called his senior, who confidently said that the pepperoni pizza does not come with olives. However, when I showed them their own menu, he apologized and offered to bring the olives on the side — which was extremely unprofessional and frustrating. To make matters worse, I asked for a Coke Zero and was given a can that was absolutely dirty. When I tried to bring it to the server’s attention, he ignored me and walked away. No one else was available on the floor, so I had no option but to clean the can myself. Finally, I had to wait nearly 20 minutes just to get someone’s attention so I could ask for the check. Overall, very poor service and a disappointing experience. Definitely not worth the money.

interior and background music was fantastic !! The manager and staff were so welcoming and provided excellent service throughout !! Even their pet(dog) is so bossy gentleman humble :) had a wonderful time
