This cafe is right on the board of NSW and Queensland. It's great cafe with excellent Coffee, very good juices and smoothies and the pastries were good too. Not only do they have all the things you would expect to have in a cafe but they also have great views and lots of art to look at too.

Amazing view! Came here with friends for breakfast at a Sunday morning. Second floor has an amazing ocean view. You order through a qr code, avoiding queues, which is amazing. Coffe came first, then food Everything well presented and delicious. I ordered a side of eggs and bacon and it wss enough to satisfy my hunger. Nice coffee taste. Staff was friendly and served us with a smile upon arrival and exit. I would recommend to everyone.

Have frequented this beautiful Cafe over the last few years and the standard has remained exceptional. Fantastic food and loverly drinks with views to die for plus a great vibe about the place. If you haven't experienced Cafe Dbar then its about time you did, its very worth it.

Nice little cafe with nice ambience. Great ocean view from upstairs. Gets very busy over public holidays and weekends. Good variety of breakfast. Generally the food was appetising. The Vietnamese Omelette was very flavourful - would recommend to try this. Wouldn’t recommend the big breakfast (paid for extra egg for big breakfast but it came with only two eggs and no mushrooms and we were told that it usually just comes with one egg and that they ran out of truffled mushroom which was supposed to be the best part of the big breakfast).Check your order twice on busy days.

Great location by the sea to spot whales. Upstairs at this location gives the best views. Food was tasty and enjoyable. Quantity of food was good and left me feeling satisfied. Merlo wine with my lunch of flathead fish and pear salad was very enjoyable. This location is a regular stop for me to come and enjoy a coffee and magnificent fresh bake raspberry and chocolate muffin.

DISAPPOINTING! I’ve been here before downstairs at the little takeaway, so was very excited to try upstairs with a great view overlooking the ocean. View is spectacular and the waitress very kind, but was extremely put off by the fact that I asked for the seafood dish to be without chilli, and was told it would cost an extra $5 to have it without chilli. WHAT!!!! Since when has a simple no chilli flakes in a meal cost an extra $5. Completely put off by that and won’t be back in a hurry.

Food is nearly too pretty to eat, nearly... Delicious and gorgeous. Plenty of parking with the car park across the road. Great spot with great outlook. Service has always been attentive even when busy. There is a order yourself takeaway at the front counter to try to keep the wait time down.

Great location and a really relaxing ambience. Staff are friendly but an order was missed, and when advised it wasn't put through but would only take 3 mins if we still wanted it, the 3 mins was more like 10 mins. But other than that hiccup, I liked the place, coffee was pretty good.

Yelp
Super cute place with a great view! Had an iced latte and the classic eggs benedict with bacon and it was delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached, and those chips that they served them with are soooo good! I'm not a huge fan of potatoes but the seasoning they use for them is delish and perfectly fried to golden perfection! Definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
This little 2-storey Cafe has all the right vibes, service and food and bevs to make it 5-star worthy. Vibewise: It OWNS the fresh and legitimately cool scene that so many cafes aspire to have. Perfectly located for a constant cool breeze and the most relaxing ocean views on this end of the coast, this fine establishment is decked out with beachy, relaxed and photogenic decor (see my pics ;D) Service: These guys offer that classic friendly, "mate/buddy/how's it going/no worries/cya later" type of Aussie service. So welcoming. Food and bevs: yeah I could rave about this for days! You may as well go check them out for yourself and experience their dense, generously-served smoothies, unique juice blends and literally mouth-watering food. They've recently released their new menu and Mexican nights yew! You could honestly chill there for a good while for so.many.reasons!

Yelp
Great place, great location, great view, great food... Great!! Thanks for the experience. First time visitor a couple of weeks back and was blown away. A combination of the expectation of a laid back atmosphere of the Gold Coast that sites behind a professional and efficient outfit. We had the blue swimmer corn fritters which were full of crab and goodness as well as the fruit and yoghurt. You can't help leaving his place feeling healthy and rejuvenated. Bravo, can't wait to return!

Yelp
Based on the coffee and Thirst Quencher "Refresh Mint". Smooth coffee...the prefect wake up. Beautiful sunrise from this spot. Midday drink on a crisp sunny day. The Refresh Mint was absolutely needed. I am sure lunch would be fantastic, but I had to return to BrisVegas.

Yelp
My friends and I started calling this restaurant Cafe D'Bacle because from the first minute, it was an absolute disaster. Yes it has a good view, get over it, most places on the beachfront do. Firstly, the drink specials should be called ice specials, because 90% of what is in the glass will melt. Secondly, the menu and descriptions should be taken with a grain of salt, because everything is quite misleading and straight out of the twilight zone. Case in point: The asian edamame salad is basically coleslaw with 4 bits of edamame and some strings of wakame. Whereas the pawpaw and wakame salad is basically the asian edamame salad with 4 strings of pawpaw. Friend A had to send it back twice and have 3 staff members enquire as to the ingredients and preparation of the salad. Thirdly, as a paying customer I do not appreciate or condone attitude of any magnitude as patrons bring business and should be leaving as satisfied customers extolling the virtues that is your establishment. I kindly suggest to the owner a staffing upgrade and complete revision of the menu.

Yelp
Absolutely awful , our meal arrived with an insect inside a piece of rice and the waiter was just so unpleasant. This review is being placed on all other AU review sites - I think you know why - up your game! True , Local , Disgusting!!
