Cafe De Gozlemece

I stopped by this restaurant for breakfast, hoping to try their gozleme. The name on the menu was different from what I’d seen online, but the woman working there reassured me that they had rebranded and it was the same thing. After we sat down, she then mentioned that they only offer two types of gozleme—completely different from the variety shown in the videos and information we found beforehand. We decided to order anyway, but the food was underwhelming. It tasted very basic, and the spinach gozleme in particular wasn’t enjoyable—the spinach was extremely soggy and took away from the dish. It’s a shame because the woman serving us was genuinely lovely and the service itself was great. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t live up to expectations.

Amazing food! The beef, spinach & cheese gozleme is a must try. Freshly made, ended up going back a few times. Nice coffees/tea too.

This is the best gözleme you can find. The ladies that cook do not know English, but are so polite and nice. Tip them, underpriced. We met a siryan couple that helped us with the translation and they even payed our bill when they left. Totally recommend. Get the traditional airyan!

Delicious Gözleme pies ready to be served. fillings: spinach, cheese, meat etc. The menu isn't in English but one of their waitresses could translate and recommended the Gözleme. I was really longing for a cold beer but since they didnt have it, they suggested i move to the bar right across the street where they could collaborate and serve my table. Very good service and absolutely perfect atmosphere.

It is an amazing traditional dish place, if you are vegan or vegetarian, this place has very broad options for you. I really enjoyed my meal over there. When you go there you must try their special gözleme, it was so delicious, she made a great meal for us. Service was excellent too. I probably will go back there very soon. Thanks

A real hidden gem of Istanbul. An absolute must visit little cafe. Great food. Amazing staff.
