Fantastic place spotlessly clean and smells amazing! The owner was incredibly friendly and provided excellent customer service, even giving me a free upgrade. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Plus, there’s a great restaurant on-site with outstanding food! And they also speak great English.

Had the specialty of the season mussels galore ... huge plump and tasty ... only problem huge portions =) =) great price and super cozy vintage swiss style in a good way. Parking is best 100m away in the large public parking space or on the street just past the restaurant ... highly recommend it for a dinner for 3 =)

It’s a must visit point after Chaplin museum. We were here about one month ago and still remember excellent food and service. Sergey was very helpful and provided good recommendations so that we were charmed by this place and cuisine. Even the way the dished were served was unusual and creative – meat is given either on hot stone or hotplate and meat just melts in one's mouth (at least Filet de Boeuf). And the atmosphere of the place is very friendly and cozy. After the dinner here we were definitely left with a desire to come here again and try other dishes.

Close to the Chaplin museum (3 min by car) and with just a 15 min walk to the lake a great place to stay. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere of the Restaurant is great. Also the food is high quality. We were happy to stay there and enjoy the Swiss Romand charm.

Excellent evening. Both the food and the service were very good. Prices are reason for Switzerland.

Incredible food, fantastic service - this is the second time I have visited and they continue to over deliver. The entrecôte de boeuf de la maison is beyond incredible!

Stay away if you're a solo female traveler. This place was a total letdown. There's no free parking, no bottled water, and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The staff was nowhere to be found during my 9 pm check-in, and when I contacted reception, they mentioned the staff was out partying. There's zero soundproofing—you can hear everything. Plus, there's a massive church right in front of the building, ringing bells all day and night. Security was a joke—doors left wide open, keys left in rooms. The housekeeper barged in at 9 am, insisting I check out with broken French, being incredibly intrusive. When I raised all my concerns with the morning receptionist, she said she could call the owner, Mr. Kumar. He advised her not to provide us with any explanation whatsoever regarding why our stay was so bad or even offer an apology. Instead, he told us to go directly to the place where we booked it and speak with them. And to add to the misery, dirty sheets with cigarette burns! Not even worth half of the $100 I paid. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this place at all costs.
