Café De La Plage - Restaurant Chez Pierre

I did not speak French and the server accommodated me very politely and was very kind. I ordered the menu of the day which was fish soup, hake with risotto, and crème brûlée and everything was beautiful, large amounts, and so delicious. Highly recommended!!

Amazing seafood restaurant in front of the beach of Arcachon. We made a reservation few weeks ago thx to that we got a great table in front row. We had a great oysters from Arcachon, scallops and sushi. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was great by very friendly staff.

Great fresh seafood and very good chef! The place is not cheap, but it’s worth it, next to a beautiful beach and fairly easy to park.

Located right in the heart of Arcachon, Café de la Plage – Chez Pierre offers a lovely open view and a great atmosphere — ideal for people-watching or enjoying the sea breeze in a lively, central spot. The menu is beautiful, with a range of well-curated dishes that go far beyond the usual tourist fare. The food was flavorful and well-executed — clearly made with care and quality ingredients. A special mention to our Spanish waiter, who was incredibly polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. His service really added to the experience — professional yet warm, and helpful with recommendations. For a popular, central location, the quality of food and service was a pleasant surprise. Great food, great views, and excellent service — Café de la Plage is well worth a visit if you're in Arcachon.

Everything was great about this place except that it took a really long time to get the waiter to bring our check when we had finished our meal. Wwe probably would have ordered a coffee as well, if it had bot taken so long for them to come afterwards. But, it was a very busy day, so I can't really fault the server. Overall, great atmosphere and great environment and the food was also fantastic!

Michelin recommended right next to the beach. I sat down and expected an expensive and simple salad, I soon realized this place is a pearl. The location is superb, the service is excellent and the food is exquisite. We ate here 3 days a row. The tempo is high and the food is fast but extremely well done. This place deserves the recommendations from Michelin. I highly recommend the baked pie and the chef salad for starter.. Oh man that was an experience. The kids menu is super tasty, those kids sausages have lots of flavor and the green beans taste superb.

Very quick service. Staff were very polite. Steak was a little chewy and fatty. But seafood, wine and desserts were great. Plus great view of the ocean

Recommended by the tourist office and was not disappointed. Location cannot get any better, fantastic service and oysters. Impressive selection of cold seafood all served in a generous tray of ice Cooked food was slightly hit and miss, the sole was beautiful but the sauce/flavouring of scallops were not my favourite. It is also a bit pricy hence 4 not 5 stars. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back when in Arcachon.
