Tavern Café in Mussoorie gave us an experience worth remembering! We tried their pasta, pizza, and the signature hot chocolate — and each one had its own magic. The pasta was full of flavour, the pizza was perfectly baked and absolutely delicious, but the hot chocolate was the real showstopper — rich, velvety, and heart-warming. Truly their signature masterpiece! They also offered us a complimentary piece of cake, which was unexpectedly yum and added a sweet touch to our visit. A special shoutout to Shubham, who served us with great hospitality. His friendly attitude and quick service really made our experience even better. If you’re in Mussoorie, Tavern Café is a must-visit for great food, warm vibes, and excellent service!

Café Tavern is a cozy and stylish spot that’s perfect for a relaxed afternoon coffee or a casual meetup. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating, soft background music, and an inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee that fills the air. Their drink menu offers a solid variety — the cappuccino I tried was rich and well-balanced, and the hot mocha was indulgent without being overly sweet. The pastries are clearly the star of the show here: flaky, buttery, and fresh. The walnut brownie and pizza were particularly delicious and beautifully presented. However, I did notice one disappointing detail that affected my overall impression. The café prominently displays a board advertising “10% off on all pastries”, which initially seemed like a great bonus. But when I went to pay, I was told the discount only applies to purchases above a certain amount — a condition that was not mentioned anywhere on the sign. It felt slightly misleading, and I wasn’t the only customer caught off guard by this. While it’s not a dealbreaker, it’s definitely something they should clarify to maintain transparency and customer trust. That said, the staff were friendly and apologetic when I mentioned it, and their service overall was quick and attentive. With just a bit more honesty in their promotional signage, Café Tavern could easily earn a full five stars. Still, it remains a lovely place to unwind and enjoy some excellent coffee and pastries.

What a fantastic place! The pizzas were phenomenal—both the veg and non-veg options were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. But the goodness didn't stop there. The cheese garlic bread was a cheesy, garlicky dream, and the rice bowls were a delicious surprise. And for drinks, their cold coffee was the perfect, creamy beverage to complement everything. The overall experience was wonderful, thanks to the lovely ambiance, great lighting, and good service. It's always a plus when a place also has good washroom facilities. We'll definitely be back!

Strictly not for Vegetarians! Ordered 69,Mountain Vegitables Au Gratin. (With special instructions pure veg and no Mushrooms). When we were about to have the 1st bite, we saw there are chicken pieces into it. We checked with the Cafe, they simply said sorry, we don't know how chicken landed into your meal. So please avoid this place if you are vegetarian like us.

I heard a lot about its wood fried pizza so went there in the hope of good food. It's a minute walk from picture palace so till picture palace you may take a golf cart or rickshaw or simply walk. Once you reach you can see an old cafe with Victorian vibes. The pizza was actually spectacular but what sparkled my heart was the blueberry cheesecake and even the baked cheesecake. Not everyone can serve good cheesecakes, but they had the fine ones. Coffee was also good. Staff were polite and friendly. Overall I enjoyed there and would love to visit again. Home Search Trips

It’s a cozy little café with decent food. The pull-apart garlic bread was good (try it with truffle oil). The GTone and Hampton Berry were well-made drinks.

This morning, my family and I visited Café De Tavern on Mall Road, Mussoorie, and it turned out to be the perfect start to our day. We ordered the woodfire aloo-stuffed paratha, and it was nothing short of heavenly — rich in flavor, cooked to perfection, and so comforting in the chilly hill station weather. The café’s ambience was equally delightful. With its super-cool yet cozy vibe, it carried the warmth and charm that you’d expect in the heart of the mountains. Sitting there, enjoying delicious food with my loved ones, made the experience even more special.
