I have come here at least a couple nights a week during my time in Florence. They have limoncello slushies that are to die for (and incredibly strong). Also, $3.50 very generous glasses of Prosecco, and chocolate cake that ends any night out well.

Unpretentious coffee shop on a cute square with a nice atmosphere. Oat cappuccinos and pastries were all delicious and a very good price.

Small coffee shop with cozy decor and good music. Staff spoke English and were very friendly. We had a few desserts, cappuccino and late. Both coffee and dessers were really good. At first coffee shop appears tiny with no space to sit, however, there is a doorway around the counter that leads to a larger room with tables. On the other side of the room, there is a staircase that leads upstairs, where they have more sitting space.

Great value spritz and the food was lovely for a light meal. The staff were a little cold as we brought drinks from the bar across the way not knowing the seating was there but we then spent the evening ordering drinks from the right spot! (still didn’t really warm up to us after our mistake) - great atmosphere and full of locals

Cold ac, amazing cookies, and a wonderful iced mint drink at only almost 3 euros. Very small shop, fits a handful of people inside, but has outside tables and chairs. The square cookie has a soft chocolate filling and the cookie is very almond-y and crumbles/melts in your mouth. One of the girls took my order in English so that was handy. They close late and are next door to yummy gelato!

A funky little hole in the wall bar/cafe. Great music, affordable drinks if you’re on a tight budget, good selection of sweet and savoury snacks.

Yelp
Great coffee. Small, cute place. Right next to the more touristy Ditta Artigianale- don't mix them up! Ditta is good for expensive speciality drinks but their cappuccino cannot compare to here.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. I'm like 12 and me and my cousin walked in to get a snack and the people who worked here are so funny and the short bread cookies are amazing. I love these people and just because I'm 12 doesnt mean I'm not smart. I have awesome opinions. I will forever love this place.

Yelp
Excellent gelato recommended by two locals! They post the current flavors outside so you can decide while you wait as there is always a line which moves quickly. Do yourself a favor and have more than one flavor as the locals always seem to do!

Yelp
A quaint little cafe on the corner -- much more space than the street view shows. Seating in the back & upstairs. The coffee was okay, as they also have wine & aperitivo. The woman working the counter wasn't very friendly, but if you're looking for a convenient place to grab a coffee or a glass of wine, this is a great find (directly across from Trattoria 4 Leone). I wouldn't recommend this to friends or family in town for a short trip, but I wouldn't mind meeting here with friends in Florence.

Yelp
We were staying just down the street from this cafe and we came here multiple times a day. The staff were very friendly and the coffee and food were good too.

Yelp
*Drinks only* Read about this place on Spotted By Locals. It's in an awesome little area called Piazza della Passera, on the south side of the river. You'll find some tourists here but it's frequented by locals mostly. We came here for aperitivo while we waited for a table at a nearby osteria. The bartender was great, the drinks were well-priced and well-made (negroni & spritz, of course). We took our drinks out to a bench in the piazza and enjoyed a beautiful night. Will definitely visit when we go back to Florence. They allegedly are a great coffee bar during the day also.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place after crossing the river, the owner is super cool and the food is delicious. Highly recommended!

Yelp
We stayed in a B&B around the corner and ate here every morning and again in the afternoon over multiple trips to Florence. It is a locals joint that we thoroughly enjoyed. Coffee and seemingly homemade pastries each morning. There is space in the back and along the back ally. The tables are small and dinged up, but the place had a working mans charm that was simple and refreshing.

Yelp
Good coffee and selection of pastries for breakfast. Lots of seating out the back and a few outside. A nice little place to pop into for a quick bite to eat. I felt that the man was rushing us with our order though (and we weren't slow) even though he had no other customers waiting. Once we had ordered the service was fast and friendly.

Yelp
This is my favorite wine bar in Florence. Their house red wine is really really good and not overly expensive. At first, the place seems incredibly small, but there is a back room and a room upstairs. The wait staff is really friendly, but they speak little to no English, so I would advise brushing up on your Italian before you go! My favorite thing about this little wine bar is that on Friday nights, there is always live music upstairs. It is a perfect place to meet up with friends, enjoy some wine, and listen to a lively little band. It is the perfect way to end a great day in the most beautiful city in Italy!

Yelp
The best gelato. I found this place by accident and glad I did. It truly had the best gelato I had in Florence, or most anywhere in Italy for that matter. They've won a bunch of awards. The gelato is kept it in tubs in a freezer rather than display bins. I think that says something right there. It was so good that I walked back a few blocks to get seconds.

Yelp
The best thing about this little bar is that they have Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies !!!! I highly recommend their vegetarian lasagna with pesto (beware to all with nut allergies). The staff is very kind and attentive and I enjoy coming here every now and then when I am passing by piazza della passera. They charge a little extra than normal bars for drinks, I am guessing because they are so close to main tourists sites (Palazzo Pitti, Ponte Vechio). I prefer coming to this bar for a quick coffee in the morning or for a light lunch. They have a great lunch menu, nice greek salad, and quite a few other vegetarian options. I came here once at night when there was a musical event and I found that it was way too cramped, meaning this place is a bit small so when it is moderately crowded it feels really really stuffy inside. That's why I like it during the day (specially during the spring) when it's less crowded and they can open the windows. It's cute, an OK option.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the friendly service. Loved the coffee and sandwich to go since I was running late.
