Cafe Des Amis is a charming gem of a restaurant tucked into historic downtown Parkville. The restaurant is rich in character and history. It has a cozy, intimate interior. The service was warm and attentive, but not overly attentive if you know what I mean. The food? Absolutely delicious. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor, making it easy to see why this spot has such a loyal following. The covered patio offers a lovely dining experience perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or a romantic night out. Even on a hot night I would have enjoyed the patio. Their wine selection is impressively robust, with options to suit any palate. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Cafe Des Amis is well worth the stop. A true Parkville treasure! The only caution I have is with the open flame candle… I’ve heard a story or two of a break basket catching fire.

Though we had exceptional service and the atmosphere was great, the food lacked luster. Unrefined French food at best. The pate was gritty and way too cold with no crusty bread accompaniment. The tomatoes, though a pallet cleaner, were unnecessary and seemed like an afterthought. Our mains; pork cheek and scallops, were a uniquely low point. The pork dish was rich, which I expected, but had no acid or texture to break-up the dish. It was dauntingly heavy. The scallops weren't cleaned and had the abductor muscles still attached. The dish was also heavy and needed acid as well to break everything up and bring it together. It just tasted of salt, butter, and scallop. The drinks were delightful and shined through the meal along with the bread. Overall a gem to find in a small city, it was a gem confused on its food facet on the plate.

I wish I knew of this place sooner, but now that I do, we will definitely be back! Food was so flavorful and well prepared. Service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is nice as well... we sat on the patio. Recommend the trout and the pork. The vegetables that are served with the entrees are so delicious. Highly recommend.

Google
Absolutely exceptional dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was attentive, warm, and professional. Our dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor! The owner clearly pays attention to detail, using high-quality ingredients and creative techniques. The ambiance was elegant, perfect for a special evening out. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-tier cuisine and a memorable experience in Parkville!

Wow!!!!! This place is awesome. The staff was very helpful, energetic, and very professional. This was only half of a great dining experience for the whole family. We showed up with no reservation and were seated at the bar and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone was more than excited as each plate came out. The mussels were extraordinary, and the wine and meal were top-notch. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Google
The food and setting was 5 stars, and the service was spectacular. We went all out on the appetizers and desserts. Highly recommend the veal sweetbread with polenta, so tender and well seasoned. This place blew Le Fou Frog out of the water because they don’t season their food well. Also loved the burrata and heirloom tomato salad, it was a great dish to share. The escargot dish had a delicious garlicky bite to it so we loved it. The desserts were yummy too, and not overly sweet which was a bonus. The dining area in the back was very cute and romantic.

Reservations pretty much required. Quaint upscale French restaurant in Parkville. We went for lunch, but they were kind enough to let me order the Duck confit off the dinner menu. I'm allergic to red meat and this was as close to roast as I've had in years. My husband had the scallops and the sauce it comes in was delicious. HUGE selection of wine that comes with a book to give you lots of info about the region and wine itself. We were lucky to sit outside and it was absolutely perfect.

Google
I recently attended a Burgundy wine dinner at Cafe des Amis. I have eaten here numerous times before and enjoyed every meal. However the restaurant outdid its regular high standard. The food was amazing and delicious. It paired perfectly with wines served. An amazing dining experience. Thank you.

Yelp
Party of three showed up early on a Friday evening. It wasn't as hot so we sat on their charming deck. We had a few cocktails (all delicious) and got the escargot. They were perfectly cooked and tasty. The servers were all very attentive and friendly. The owner, Guillaume, helped us pick our entrees and wine. We had the filet, scallops (2), and they were all very good, cooked as ordered, and a caprese salad that was so good. He also recommended a bottle of sauvignon blanc ($55) that was crisp and fruity. I always think of this place as very fancy and pricey; but the prices are really very reasonable with entrees in the $20's and the delicious wine. The grounds outside are very nicely tended with lots of flowers and hostas. Inside is very quaint and cozy. We definitely need to come here more often. Never disappointed!

Yelp
Underwhelming, especially based on the many glowing reviews on this site. I got a vodka tonic, which was completely ordinary (a poor choice on my part if I'm being fair). I shared the salade de chevre chaud with my dining companion, which was interesting, but not exceptional (and not gluten free - I should have inquired, but the description said the cheese was encrusted with crushed walnuts, it did not mention bread crumbs). For dinner I had the Porc. The meat was tender, but the potatoes did not seem "carmelized" to me, and the sauce was rich, but quite one note. I tried the scallops my dining companion ordered and they were rubbery and overcooked. The service was pleasant, but far from doting on a quiet Tuesday evening. I wouldn't rush back.

Yelp
Sometimes the dining stars align. Not all who wander through Parkville are lost but find themselves at Cafe Des Ami's doorstep by happy happenstance. With no reservations on a Friday night and 5 minute wait we were ushered to the outdoor dining area. Sublime breeze and a tree house like feel. Candles lit, wine sipped as we chatted with our young hostess. It's a family ran business and our hostess is first generation and her parents both French are busy taking care of patrons too. They go back to Paris every year and she's having a great first week back to school. Beef short ribs and a Le Creuset filled with mussels, shrimp, salmon in creamy wine sauce arrive. Both are divine and we leave no morsel behind thanks to the hot bread. Everything about the experience is thoughtful, meant to be enjoyed thoroughly. I almost felt bad snapping the image of it all, but just almost. It was a night worth remembering and eagerly look forward to repeating it.

Yelp
Café Des Amis is a wonderful spot for brunch or dinner, special occasions or a casual meal. For me, it's the highlight of downtown Parkville. The menu is always changing and it's always fun to see what's on the menu that day. Personally, I always order one of the main dishes including fish. When it's on the menu I've enjoyed the monkfish. I also like the bouillabaisse. The cheeseboard is a great appetizer, very intricate and picture worthy. It also has a great mix of flavors and textures that complement each other really well. The service is outstanding. They'll try hard to sell you on dessert and I suggest obliging. You won't be disappointed. I'd make a suggestion for brunch but I always order the same thing when it's available - Croque Madame. The wine list is extensive.

Yelp
This was definitely a splurge for my birthday, and on my own "dime"! The food was incredible, including the duck breast with a blackberry sauce, and their sinfully good chocolate soufflé. My friend enjoyed the Barramundi entrée currently on the menu. Of course the atmosphere/ambience is definitely French, upscale, attractive, cozy, and romantic. But no romance is needed to enjoy their delectable and beautifully presented food. The service was very good, and both of our entrées and my soufflé came out much faster than expected. They prefer that you include all menu categories you want when you first order. But if you do decide on the soufflé later, allow an extra 15 minutes. One intriguing appetizer special was a vegetarian pate made with Lion's Mane mushrooms, which, if you've ever seen the amazing movie "Fabulous Fungi," you'll know is supposed to be very good for the brain and cognition! But even without that, I was very cognizant of the prices, which were generally more reasonable than I expected, but definitely not in my daily budget! Your check is accompanied by two very tiny tasty macarons! The restrooms at restaurants are important overall quality and cleanliness indicators to me, and they did not disappoint. The two gender neutral ones are clean, charmingly decorated, and all you have to do is press a button and a new clean plastic cover encircles the toilet seat! All in, I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for a special occasion. Do be prepared to walk up a somewhat steep outside wooden staircase to get in, but it's worth the climb!

Yelp
Exquisite Cuisine matched with impeccable Service. We popped in on a weeknight without a reservation and we were seated immediately. The room was intimate and there were curtains drawn across other rooms. I would Definitely Recommend Reservations! Joseph promptly came over and introduced himself and went over all the specials in detail. Throughout the evening he thoughtfully asked about time between courses and if we wanted more bread, and was one of the most polite servers I've encountered. He never just assumed. He never removed a plate without asking. I appreciated his attention to our experience. One thing that did bother me is that fresh utensils were not brought between courses, but that is Quite French ( I assume ). The Food was Excellent. We started with Pate I loved the accoutrements. We got a second loaf of bread as it was delicious as well. We split a salad ( the chef split for us ) and then shared entrees. The chef's halibut special was excellent ( it was California halibut, so smaller flake versus Alaskan ). We also got lamb chops. I loved the chops were lollipop style because I'm not shy about picking up my food. We then ordered the sweetbreads ( they are a very savory appetizer ) before dessert because why not! My friend said the old fashioned wasn't good ( but I held my tounge, it's a French restaurant and I wouldn't expect a US cocktail to be top notch... ). French only wine list. The Crème Brulée was good, classic. The Chocolate Soufflé was perfect! I'm excited to come back for lunch.

Yelp
We had a 8pm dinner on the patio. The patio is a nice quiet place eat overlooking main in Parkville. A light rain added to the ambiance. Service was excellent including the dinner recommendations. The food was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the old fashioned with candied orange in the glass. Perfect date night get away only a few miles from home.

Yelp
The food was amazing. Such rich bold taste and no heavy feeling afterwards. Guillaume, the owner is always there to talk to you. He was our waiter personally. He took extra time to talk and interact with everyone he seen. This is how business should be done. The Cafe is an older building that takes you back to a simpler time. Very nicely decorated. The restrooms have automatic toilet seat covers. Please do yourself a favor, grab friends or family and enjoy this wonderful Cafe.

Yelp
We held our March book club meeting here and wow! First off, the location in quaint downtown Parkville is so cute; corner building with a side entrance up some stairs and into an old converted building/house sits this beautiful intimate French inspired cafe. The wait staff were so knowledgeable about the menu and they catered to my gluten free friend with ease and expertise! The food was amazing, so flavorful and the drinks were as well. Highly recommend for a date night or a girls brunch or even a solo dining experience! So so good!

Yelp
This place was so cute and tucked away! It seemed to be an old house converted into a cafe, they put a French charm to the place all around! Menu was to die for! I had the salmon with lemon and white wine sauce and it literally melted in my mouth. Best salmon I've had! Crème brûlée was of course not a disappointment as well! Staff was fast and observant at when water was needed and food came out fast. Would definitely come back and try more!

Yelp
Three of us had very poor meals. The halibut was severely overcooked and stringy, and the trout special tasted like it has been reheated. The sides were cold and tasteless. We have eaten here in the past and had very good meals - something in the kitchen was clearly wrong on this occasion.

Yelp
We had a great experience at Cafe Des Amis. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated quickly. There were many choices in the wine selection in a nice price range. Our group ended up having thee appetizers, salads, different main courses and desserts. Everyone tried something different and no one was dissa. This is a beautiful restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. We can't wait to return.

Yelp
Location: This place is located in Parkville. A street with several restaurants. Nice place to walk and try different food Ambient: Nice. It is not very fancy but has that European vibe that matches perfectly with the restaurant Food: AMAZING. Delicious, on point. We went for lunch, and the menu is diverse and very affordable. French food is usually expensive but this place is not pricy at all. Service: top notch Overall: This is MUST go even if you need go drive 30 min or more. I am looking forward to visit this place again

Yelp
It's been a long while since I've been up to Parkville and Cafe Des Amis and it was only for lunch. They have since opened a beautiful back room behind the small bar area which our group was seated in. The menu is pricey but they back it up with delicious food. I began with a half order of the Prince Edward Island Mussels and my husband had the Soupe ju Jour which was creamy mushroom. Several at our table ordered the Escargots. All starters were delicious as was the bread which came out warm and crusty. For our entrees we ordered the Filet De Boeuf Au Poivre (a perfectly cooked beef tenderloin filet with Cognac black pepper cream) and the Truite (rainbow trout with lump crab meat and bechamel). Both were incredible! Our server was in charge of the entire back room and did a fabulous job. The food came out quite fast and was wonderful. The back room is nice for a larger group and the cozy front rooms are perfect for a romantic date night. It's a bit of a hike up to Parkville for us, but we will return. Cafe Des Amis is worth the trip!

Yelp
If you're looking for authentic French food, with real French owners, and Chefs, look no further. Had a rare date here recently and it was amazing. Guillerm was super kind and reccomended us wine and pairings. The appetizers to desserts were all spectacular. My main course was amazing, however, the Riviera bowl of soup was a for our tastes, a bit heavy. Can't wait to come again!!! Merci beaucoup à bientôt. À plus tard

Yelp
Our waiter was actually French and was really nice/did a great job! We had the steak, quail, and fish--all were unique and delicious. We also had wine which we let them pick for us and they paired well. They have pages and pages of wine if you want to pick your own. Lastly, we had the soufflé and the mousse--we all agreed that the mousse was better. This place is great for an anniversary, birthday, date, or celebration. Fancy with good food!

Yelp
Do you want a memorable dining experience? Celebrating a special occasion? Have guests in from out of town? Then make reservations here. Yes, you should make reservations, don't expect to just show up and get seated. The highlight of the evening was the head waiter. Who is French. He's got a entire bank of one liners and stories to make the evening enjoyable. The food was delicious as to be expected. I had the pheasant and it was better than most wild pheasant I had in the past. Be sure to support this local businesses.

Yelp
It was our 5oth anniversary, and we decided to try Caf'e Des Amis. It is very nice in the dining areas, and overall quiet and peaceful, not loud like many restaurants. The whole staff was very professional and attentive, but not overly. I had the Quail and my wife the Lamb and both were perfectly prepared and very good. They have an extensive wine list, so I would suggest that you decide on your entree and pick a matching wine ahead of time, especially if it needs decanting. Our desert was also quite good. It was one of the most enjoyable dinners and evenings that we have spent at a Kansas City restaurant. We will certainly be return customers.

Yelp
Food looked good, but I was underwhelmed. It wasn't bad, but spending a significant amount of time in Paris has spoiled me I guess. Service was on par with a Parisian cafe- around if you need them, but stay out of your way. Everyone was friendly. Atmosphere was very chic and clean. Would try again, just not soon.

Yelp
Sorry for the late post. This place deserves all the love!! My Husband surprised me with a pre Christmas date night here. I have been dying to try this restaurant for years, literally years! They did not disappoint. The waitress was beautiful and sweet, helping us pick some of her favorites on the menu. She definitely did not lead us in the wrong direction. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service was outstanding. Quaint restaurant complete with candles and roses on the table. A impeccable choice for date night.

Yelp
Cute, quaint French restaurant located in Downtown Parkville. The atmosphere feels laid back and you can truly take your time and enjoy your company. Food was tasty and service was excellent! It is a little on the pricer size in regards to portion size.

Pamela E.

Yelp
It's a charming place, with excellent service. But everything we ordered last time was so undercooked as to be disgusting. Yes, I know the French are averse to the flame, but this was ridiculous! Lamb ordered medium rare was almost unchewably raw; the scallops, ditto; foie gras, ditto. The crème brûlée was very good, as was the Pinot Noir we chose. I used to love it, decades ago.
google avatar

Jesica B.

Yelp
This was the best meal I've in Parkville, and probably the best in the northland. The service was warm and welcoming. I liked that there wasn't a rush and it was intimate setting. Very romantic spot. The food was delicious! My husband said it was the best steak he's ever had! We will definitely go here again!!

Yelp
Cute little cafe on the hillside and historic district area. The location and decor and portions did remind me of Paris restaurants. Food was cook and seasoned lightly but plenty flavorful. I enjoyed my trout, which was light and brought out the flavor of trout well. my husband was satisfied with his baked scallops as well and wished the portion was bigger lol. The accompanying salad was delicious and we also wished there was more than just the 5 leaves provided. The only disappointing dish was the escargots... I was really hoping shells are still attached, cause I couldn't really tell if I'm biting into escargot meat or mushrooms or chopped things, but it does go well with bread provided. The service could be a little more attentive since we had to be on the lookout to flag down our waitress to bring our desserts. Desserts were delicious! The French knows their desserts and so does this cafe! We'll likely return the next time we're town & I'll have to try their mussels - the table next to us sure made it looked delicious!

Mark T.

Yelp
We love this local restaurant, though I must admit it has been a while since we have eaten here. The ambiance, decor and setting is lovely and it is the ideal place for a romantic dinner. Our meal was excellent and for the quality and service levels received it is very reasonably in priced. The wine list is beyond comparison, but sadly the only reason that this is not five star review is because the coffee was, at best, lukewarm. My suggestion: keep the coffee in a thermos so that it is nice and hot.
google avatar

Philip S.

Yelp
Great food and wonderful presentation. I had the roast rabbit with potatoes and vegetables and it was delicious all around. The rabbit was cooked to perfection and the sauce allowed it to shine. I had Bavarois for desert which looked simply divine. It ended up being a little to sweet for my taste but that's not on the chef. The staff was courteous and attentive. I would definitely recommend cafe Des Amis for any occasion.
google avatar

Tyga M.

Yelp
If I'm looking for a decadent crepe dish, I come here. From what I've observed they only serve their crepe dishes during lunch, so it's not too often that I can get away to visit. The service and restaurant environment is welcoming and relaxed; I really appreciate that you can sit indoors or outside under a covering, so the elements, for the most part, won't bother you. I get the crepes cocotte, which comes with diced chicken, Swiss cheese, ham and a bechamel sauce - it's really good with the light salad and dollop of pesto that accompanies the dish. My only gripe is that I take off the ham because the fat makes it tough to chew or cut through. For the dark chocolate mousse and brownie dessert, the rich mousse is the focal point and honestly can be served alone, as the thin brownie doesn't add much to the dish. Overall, I enjoy my time here.

Kate B.

Yelp
I started my evening with a fabulous wine tasting featuring wines from France and then stayed for a wonderful dinner with my friend. Guillaume and his team did not disappoint. Duck confit was out of this world. The Crème Brûlée was orgasmic!! (Sorry Seb your brother may make a better Brûlée) and then the second orgasm came with the berry macrons. Best way to spend a Wednesday evening.
google avatar

Yelp
Brunch on the patio is my favorite. You're nestled in the treetops with soft french music playing in the background. Food is traditional french and executed exceptionally well. I recommend everything from the mussels, any soup they prepare, all salads, the quiche Lorraine, crepes, and ALL the desserts! They have a wine book, so there are plenty of options. I recommend Louis Picamelot blanc de blanc, perfect on a warm summer day. Do not be in a rush. Sit back and enjoy your surroundings. Perfect for date night as well.

Yelp
C'est magnifique. Words - French or English - just can't do justice to the wonderful culinary experience that we had at Cafe Des Amis. The entire staff was pleasant and accommodating, and I even got a compliment on my French pronunciation, which made this part-time Francophile's heart happy. The wine list is extensive to the point of being overwhelming, but I have no doubt had I just told Guillaume what our style was he would have recommended something fantastic. But let's just establish right now that the atmosphere is intimate and cozy, the service is impeccable, and the wine selection is amazing, so we can move on to talking about the meal. We ordered two appetizers: the mussels and the cheese plate. The selection of cheeses was great; lots of flavor and nothing too bold, so they are sure to please any palate. When we initially declined a second basket of bread, the gal assured us that we would want more to mop up the mussels sauce - and she was not wrong! For our main course I ordered the duck and my husband got the rack of lamb. Both were epic. My duck was cooked perfectly with that crisp exterior that gives way to a tender and juicy meat. The balsamic reduction was a nice flavor compliment and the potatoes were delicious. The husband had been debating between the beef and the lamb and was not disappointed with his choice - but it was so good now he wants to go back and try the beef, too. We thought we'd be too stuffed to eat the desserts we ordered, but actually everything was very well-portioned. Plenty of food to fill you up but not overkill. I of course had to order the Creme brûlée! And the husband - who is not generally much of a desserts person - ordered the chocolate soufflé and raved about it. Amazing food, amazing experience. Definitely a win for our date night evening.

Yelp
Food is amazing! Be ready for a delightful meal & ambiance. There are step steps to enter, so be aware.

Yelp
Exceptional! I came here for a girls night out with two friends and was met with the most incredible service we've ever experienced. The servers were very attentive, provided our wine and served it accordingly, and the spacing of the food was perfect. For appetizers we shared the mussels, escargots, and cheese plate. All were delicious! I was nervous to try the escargot but it was delicious! For entrees we got the pork shoulder, salmon, and quails. We tried each other's food and it was all phenomenal but the pork shoulder stood out the most to me. Great flavor and it fell off the bone. For dessert we shared the crème brûlée, chocolate mousse, and bread pudding. Chocolate mousse was the table favorite! If you're looking for a quaint place with the best service, go here! They have a patio space outdoors and indoor space. The location is in downtown Parkville so you can do some shopping afterward or walk around!

Yelp
I have been here several times and my advice is to wait until after the renovation. They are severely under staffed and the food is at the lowest quality it has ever been in spite of the staff trying their hardest to accommodate the amount of guests that they have. My lamb was so over cooked I couldn't eat it and it was so late by the time I told my server that I did not even want another entree. Instead of removing the entree I didn't eat the manager comped the dessert, which was the only thing I did eat all night. I am infuriated that that is how customers that have been coming here for a year are treated. I expect to be charged for food I eat or even things I order and don't like! I do not expect to be charged for food I didn't eat because it was so over cooked it was inedible.
google avatar

Yelp
Had not been here in ages but went recently with another couple and wondered why we hadn't! Food was great (omg that chocolate souffle), service was polished, nobody felt rushed and we could all hear each other which was a nice change from some places we have been lately. We will not wait so long before returning again!

Yelp
A hidden gem if you're not familiar with downtown Parkville. This French restaurant brings you out of Missouri and into France. A wonderful place to enjoy an intimate brunch, lunch, or dinner experience. And the view of the city is breathtaking from the top. Valentine's is coming up, so call and make your reservation now for a romantic evening out with delicious food and beverage.

Yelp
Such a quaint spot in downtown Parkville! I was so impressed by the service and different flavors that were brought to the table! The extensive wine list was also a plus which allowed the waiter to provide great pairings!

Yelp
Great food- cute place- friendly service! It was a bit far from our house - that was the only drawback for us. It was my husbands birthday and he picked the place after someone at his work had recommended. Was definitely a good experience; but would I go out this far again? - not sure about that, but if in the area, I can easily see myself wanting to go! Between us 4 who went, we got the steak, duck confetti, beef short ribs (this was the special for the day and is not a regular menu item) and salmon. Everyone liked their food, and finished it- even after devouring their bread before; and the cream of asparagus and tomato/goat cheese soup. It was a cold and rainy night, we went for dinner and the soups were perfect! Our favorite may have been the lavender butter they served with the bread. It was SO good! For dessert we had the fresh chocolate soufflé served with ice cream, and crème brûlée, both of which were the perfect finale to a great meal! Definitely recommend if you live there or find yourself in the area and are looking for good food options!

Yelp
I could've ate Pate all night! Everything we ordered was amazing. It was a dance party for our taste buds. The staff was very helpful in guiding us through the menu. Such a gem located in a quaint small town.

Yelp
This was an absolute surprise. Went to this restaurant With the intent to just have dessert. After seeing the menu we decided Is we needed to try more than just dessert. We ordered the escargot which is one of our personal favorites. It was absolutely amazing. Often it is served with an overpowering garlic butter but this was so well balanced. You could taste the escargot as well as the mushrooms it was served with. If the rest of the menu is done with equal care and passion we will be returning often.

Yelp
Really amazing! Lovely ambience, great service, amazing food! A must in the Kansas City area.

Yelp
Hard to believe I've never dined at Cafe des Amis, a French bistro located literally in our backyard. This 19 year old restaurant is located in the second floor of a building built in 1844. Quaint, intimate and romantic it is. You climb a flight of outdoor steps to enter the restaurant. When we arrived, we were told to take a seat in the bar, which has maybe six seats. Not sure why we were seated there as it appeared our table was open. If you love wine, you'll be in heaven given their many choices. Since my wife and I are partial to cocktails, they don't have a wide selection of liquors on hand. The dining room consists of two small rooms. With the kitchen literally 10 feet away, everything arrived at our table piping hot. For starters, we try the Gnocchi and Mussels. Double yum. Rich and exquisite. Order more bread to soak up the delicious sherry wine and light cream mussels mixture. For entrees, Braised Duroc Pork Shoulder and Beef Short Ribs. Both were so tender, you didn't need a knife. The pork preparation was not what I was expecting. Personally, I like a firm piece of pork. We finish with classic Creme Brûlée. Beautifully presented as captured by my photo.

Yelp
Hands-down the best restaurant in Parkville. Authentic French food with a wonderful atmosphere and amazing wines and desserts. They have a vast knowledge of wine pairings and have several dinners that are based on different regions, etc. we love to holidays and Mother's Day here and highly recommend it. I would highly recommend a reservation as they fill up fast. I'm a very picky eater and didn't think I would eat some of the menu but honestly I haven't had anything I didn't like there.

I only give four stars because no one or nothing is perfect. This restaurant is very close to 5 stars. Everything is good and flavorful. Ask what is best on the menu for the evening and have that. Best to dine in comfortable weather. As inside is rather close. I would not miss this one. I am almost sorry I am writing this review. It may get too crowded.

Yelp
Best French cuisine in the Kansas City area. Cozy, romantic French bistro atmosphere. Perfect for a date night.

Yelp
LOVE this restaurant. Authentic French food in a charming bistro. Also charming staff. Love their pate, the trout, almandine, and most salads.
