Cafe des Cafes

This place is located in a very popular street in Ankara. The food was very good. We sat outside where the ambiance was very calm and elegant. However, beware that sitting outside you most likely will be among smokers. We didn't know that. I ordered the kabab wrap, which had the look and taste of a fajita mix. My friend ordered the kebab with potatoes and salad and it looked also good. I will definitely return again to try their other dishes and their dessert.

This is a nice, I-want-to-be-in-the-Spanish-style kind of restaurant. The decor is a mix, but it is nice. The food is not your typical Spanish or Mexican retaurant. Everything is on the menu, including Italian and Turkish food. There is a pleasant atmosphere. There is outdoor seating as well - very nice in the summer months. The interior is busy, small and crowded, but in a pleasant way. The tables are minute, but waiters are happy to put two tables together to give you more space. Tbh, this is kinda cool because the interior is always changing shape. The music was non-obtrusive; you could still hear the person across from you. There are 2 delicious VEGAN dishes - a deconstruted burger and a vegan Buddha bowl. The service is clean. This place is located in the High Street of Ankara, with many shops, people from all walks of life, and a myriad of cafes and tattoo parlors. It's a nice part of the city brimming with life and this restaurant keeps up the pace.

One of the best Restaurants in Ankara , the staff is friendly and helpful, decoration beautiful and always good music. But more importantly the food , I can say only good stuff about the kitchen, every menu was a waken memories from childhood, that is something you don't get often, and that's why is a reason to go and try the food there! Bravissimo !! And thank you for the create friendly hospitality to all of the staff that are working there !

Lovely vintage cafe with ample seating. Service was really good and staff friendly. I loved the croissant it was really good. Breakfast platter was quite normal but satisfactory. I like that they serve earl grey tea.

I took my parents here to have a good breakfast. The food was great and the backyard area was amazing! The design was very authentic. However, service was very poor. I tried to wave to the waitress many times but couldn't see her in the back area. The menemen ( the tomato omelette) came before they serve bread and when we asked for bread it took them so long the bring it that omlette got cold. We ordered tea which came late as well. I am assuming they were understaffed but considering the amount I paid ( more than 500 try) I expected way better service.

Croissant is self made, should try. I had a cafe latte but there was a metalic taste in the coffee. Most probably it is about cleaning/maintenance of the coffee machine. This could be but what I have noticed they didn't even check if there is such problem, I may be wrong. For a cafeteria/braserrie it is unpleasent.

Here is one of the best cafe restaurants in Ankara that I have ever been to as a vegan. It has a variety of foods and most importantly has great food for vegans. Food is not very expensive, but drinks are a little expensive. In general, I am very happy to get acquainted with this restaurant-cafe. In addition, it has an attractive and pleasant environment, be sure to go to the yard and enjoy the open space.

My partner and I enjoyed a slow Saturday morning in the cafe garden out the back. We ordered two coffees and the Atom sandwich. The service staff were all very attentive and friendly. Also very affordable.
