Busy cafe on a touristic street in the main part of Reims. Sat outside on a chilly night Had an app of local ham which was tasty, generous portion and served with yummy French bread and followed by a Buffalo which was a huge portion of baked mozzarella cheese, balsamic drizzle and baked cherry tomatoes. It was way, way to cheesy for me, but perhaps I was I'll prepared for the size and baked presentation. Hubs had a menu of the day for 39€. It was first a
Salad with green beans , tomatoes and home made foie gras; followed by Duck confit, mushrooms, bacon bits, new potatoes and salad (Duck confit with mushrooms, bacon potatoes and salad).Generous portion and well presented. Because we were in champagne country, we had a bottle of local bubbly which was lovely. Dessert for hubs was an apple tart that was dry, and not tasty per him. Overall, nice meal...felt that because we weren't locals, our service was spotty.
