Café Eriu

Had a lovely Brunch with friends. Food is creative and prepared with love. There was 5 of us in our group so we were able to try a few different dishes. Coffee was great too! All up, a great experience and would definitely return if I'm in Bordeaux again

Unfortunately this cafe did not live up to its high rating. The food was... okay. We had two egg dishes, both of which had slightly raw egg white and the flavour was just OK; considering the price they really didn't succeed in either flavour or generosity and personally I was a bit hungry after eating the "fish dish". My son's pancakes were very good. My daughter had the yoghurt and granola and she was very disappointed because the granola had a bitter, burned flavour and she couldn't finish it. Quality for price was just not there. I have rated three stars instead of lower because the two staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially in finding a recommendation for my son to eat, and that improved the experience. The coffee was also very nice.

Five star experience all around. The staff are friendly and the menu is simple yet well executed. My friend and I plumped for the pancakes (blueberry and bacon) and they were delicious. Great place for brunch!

We were just walking around when noticed this cute place. The coffee and home-made citronade were delicious, but their also home-made carrot cake… ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Loved the atmosphere as well 🩷

Really tasty brunch food. We loved the sausage roll so much we might come back just for that next time. The sauce is to die for. Reservation recommended. A bit warm near the kitchen but very cute decor. The pancakes are fluffy but definitely different from American pancakes, but in a good way. It's like more textured and cakey which I liked a lot. Prices are great, portions are normal (but not American sized of course) would love to come back. Got the famous carrot cake to go yum.

Wow... Food was spectacular. Staff were so lovely and attentive to my needs. A lot more seating than I have experience in Bordeaux cafes and it's quite peaceful here! I will be back on the daily!

We were recommended this place by a different cafe. It's a pretty laid back and chill cafe but with a chef that is very focused. All the food we ordered were very tasty and had original but fresh flavors. Glad we stopped by to have some food and relax.
