Café Federal

Cute restaurant on a quiet residential square with tables outside, right in front of a playground. Super welcoming to families, efficient service, delicious food and coffee. If I lived in Madrid, I’d come here several times a week!

We went here for a nice brunch and stayed outside. The food was great, but the drinks took quite some time to arrive. However everything tasted amazing and we understood they were understaffed so cannot really complain. Everyone was very nice to us and the terrace is in a nice area.

A very cozy spot, perfect for breakfast, and they likely serve alcoholic beverages as well. Many customers were there with their laptops, working on their projects. While I didn’t use the internet, I believe they offer Wi-Fi. I ordered toast with salmon, toast with egg, mushroom and avocado, iced orange coffee, Cappuccino, and fresh orange juice. The food was delicious, and the juice tasted really fresh.

The best brunch in Madrid with delicious food and lovely & helpful staff! Everything is nice and prices are really reasonable given it’s been on the map for years! Great job 👍

i was 5days in madrid and went 4times to federal. Everything is so good! Can‘t wait to go back there!

Great breakfast, vibrant morning, super food, fast but quality, breakfast in photos for three people was 40 euros

My favorite brunch in Madrid! Went there in May and absolutely loved the food (especially the pancakes) and the atmosphere. Take your time, the service is slow but the staff is lovely.
