"Sticking to the motto “the only thing frozen is our fishermen,” this dockside eatery serves some of the freshest seafood on the Island of Mull. In fact, guests can sit on the outdoor terrace overlooking Tobermory Bay and watch the fish en route from Mull’s rough coastal waters to their plate. Here, the specials board changes daily depending on what the fishermen provide, but there’s always something delicious, whether its langoustines, oysters, and crabs or mussels, scallops, and squid. The kitchen knows not to mess with a good thing and serves its fish and shellfish simply, seasoned and grilled with a wedge of lemon. They also bake their own bread and desserts; stock a wide range of Scottish beers, Mull malt whisky, and fine wine; and offer cheese, beef, and biscuits to pair with your meal. Go for the house-smoked salmon, stay for the signature fish stew with haddock, queenies, mussels, and more. Just note that the restaurant is seasonal, open from mid-March through late October."

A must-visit on Mull if you’re a foodie. We went for the roast shellfish platter, which is their signature dish, and loved every bite. We also got the smoked fish platter, and were really impressed. The staff were super friendly, really welcoming and kindly shared how to shell certain fish we hadn’t tried before. We both agreed this was probably the freshest fish we’d ever tried, worth every penny. We’d definitely visit again when next on Mull.

Fin-tastic place to Eat well what can I say we stayed in Tobermory for a week and I had booked this restaurant as a pun for three separate Evenings. We were not disappointed what a little pearl of a find . The menu was of great selections as well as a extensive specials board . We tried alot from the smoked salmon starter with the amazing sauce to the seabass citrus special the fish pie to the monkfish panceta pea puree to the lobster pizza the list went on and it all was so fresh vibrant full of flavour 😋. Can I just say Robert and his team are so lovely every single one of them made us feel welcome and a special thanks also to the chefs and to the staff member who gave up their irn bru as it was my last night thankyou it was so kind . This place is the best Fish restaurant I've been too and I've been to a few . We look forward to seeing you next year but I know we will need to book ahead x Thankyou for topping my hoilday off . Just the best. The staff were welcoming and friendly, accommodating our large group. The best lobster I’ve had, scallops were large and juicy. A perfect balance of good quality, quantity and passion for good food at a very reasonable price. Will be stopping here everytime I’m in the area.

Google
Easily the best restaurant on the island, bar none. Been a few times and not only is their use of ingredients ingenuous but the fish is so incredibly fresh. The staff are lovely and the space itself is great. It does get very warm in there and they only take cash but they’re only small quibbles. It is on the pricier end but my god the food is to die for!

A fabulous meal out in Tobermory. The staff were all very friendly, communicated well and had the perfect balance of leaving you to enjoy your meal whilst making sure you were satisfied. The fish was as fresh as can be, and you could literally taste the sea. A perfect end to our holiday on the Isle of Mull - thank you to all the staff 🐟🦐

Yelp
we stayed in Tobermory two nights. we ate here both nights! absolutely delicious, fresh, and inventive dishes. I wish we were staying longer I would eat here every night! the smell when you walk in is so amazing! Night one we had raw oysters, cullen skink, and lobster with a garlic sauce. night two we had mackerel fish pate with oatcakes and Sea bass with curried cauliflower. Fantastic! not enough adjectives for this food. You must try it when in Tobermory. But get a resy because it is small and busy.

Yelp
Casual environment with a fabulous upscale seafood menu. So many types of fish beautifully prepared. There are limited non-seafood choices, notably pizzas and chicken when I was there.

Yelp
Excellent seafood in a casual cafe overlooking the harbor. We had a variety of seafood and gladly ate every morsel. We just walked in for lunch, so I can't speak for the need for reservations. A large group arrived after us, and the staff happily moved tables around to fit them in. It's a bit of a squeeze, so strollers aren't allowed.

Yelp
If you are lucky / wealthy enough to moor your yatch / dingy in the harbour, you should stop here for a decent dinner. Cafe fish is a Really good simple seafood restaurant in a pretty location, right on the pier. Just a few tables are open. So consider booking if you re heading there on weekends. Seafood is sourced locally with the exception of caviar. The seafood hot platter presents the same products as in the cold platter option but is cooked in "persillade" butter (melted butter with garlic and herbs). That sounds terrific but tends to blend all the seafood tastes together. So if your are seafood fanatic, stick with the cold option...i did just that.

Yelp
Yum! My husband had the signature dish...roasted seafood platter. I had a Mexican inspired monkfish taco. Wow!! Both were amazing as was the chocolate pot and the chocolate raspberry sundae.

Yelp
Loved the seafood and the view. HATED the oppressively loud music at both lunch and dinner. Turn down the tunes! There's no need to blast your customers like this.

Yelp
So delicious! The best restaurant around. Must visit if you are in the area and a seafood fan (though I will say, my husband doesn't eat fish and there were plenty of options for him on the menu, which he said tasted wonderful). The service is good and the restaurant is cute / casual. Highly recommend!

Yelp
BEST SEAFOOD EVER. I seriously had the best lobster of my life here. The staff is rather informal, but for how good the food is, I didn't even care. Totally fresh and definitely affordable.

Yelp
The owner of the b&b we stayed at recommended this for dinner and thank goodness- SO delicious! If we were staying another night, we would've gone back. The menu is large and all the fish is caught that day from their own boat. Husband and I are both big scallop fans and each tried a different dish with them- both so delicious. We agreed it was one of our favorite meals of our entire vacation.

Yelp
Seriously, it deserves the 5 star rating. Reservations are required well in advance. My skate wing melted in my mouth, and my wife never had mackerel like this in her life. Unbelievable.
