Cafe Helenka

Place to catch a breathe after walking around. Reasonable prices, calmer and not so cheap looking like the rest of the tourism city "cafes". I recommend coffee and a big plus for the possibility of creating your own ice-cream dessert. Difficult to park during busy hours. But worth seeing, take a look at the painting above the main entrance.

Lots of space inside and outside. Came here twice, the apple tart with ice cream was delicious and presented very nicely, although it was supposed to be hot but was barely even lukewarm! Still tasted great! Cold brew was good too. Although first time we went there was the same song on repeat with very vulgar language

On the rainy, quiet afternoon, the place was almost empty. The order was taken quickly – French onion soup and water – however it took some time to deliver . Second waiter noticed the delay and helped out. The soup was very salty, served with two slices of baguettes topped with cheese. The soup didn’t look very appetizing. I also ordered Pavlova. It was pretty good. Nice ambience, quiet music, attractive interior. I found parking right on the plaza but I’m assuming it is hard to do it during the season. Overall worth the visit - a family sitting not far from me seemed to enjoy their desserts.

Cafe Helenka is a great restaurant for both lunch and dinner. It serves many deserts and drinks but also has a few main course dishes. The restaurant has a very positive atmosphere with music playing on and a very pleasant interior.

Pavlova cake was really good. Unfortunately the kitchen was otherwise closed for the weekend. The terrace was pleasant to chill at while admiring the buildings nearby.

Delicious food and friendly staff. We tried rosół soup and two types of quiches.

Delicious food, but service could be improved I visited this cafe/restaurant today and had a mixed experience. The food was delicious, but the service was lacking. The waitress seemed inexperienced or rather untrained. Despite that, the food was really good. We had the toast and the beef burger, and both were cooked perfectly. The toast was perfectly toasted and the egg was on top. The beef burger was juicy and flavorful.. We also tried the czarno-białe ice cream, which is a black and white ice cream made with milk and chocolate. It was delicious and refreshing.

Couldn't even get the menu. We were waiting for it for good 20 minutes and had to call the waitress to get it. Prices are very high in comparison to other cafes in the area.

Fabulous desserts as well as several light lunch dishes. The quiche is really good. My wife had a chocolate dessert that was out of this world. It's a little pricy but the high quality of the food and the delightful atmosphere more than make up for it. We will be back.

Great design of cafe, beautiful neighbourhood, decent prices. Great place although staff could be more attentive.
