Café im Literaturhaus - Wintergarten

Went there for breakfast on a Sunday. Luckily, we got a really nice table without any reservation. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, not quick service. Food was good, coffee too. Prices a little higher than many other venues, but the nice location and interior makes up for it.

Very nice place, in the garden of the literaturhaus. Probably the best strudel that I tried in Germany. Not the authentic one Vienna style, however outstanding served and deliciously tasted. The service makes you feel like you are in a lux restaurant, while the views and atmosphere are very relaxed and peaceful.

A true gem of Berlin. My partner and I were in Berlin from a Wednesday to a Sunday and visited this place not only once but 3 times - and every time it was such a delight. The staff, the setting, the food and the general atmosphere of the place is special. For anyone wanting to experience typical German (delicious) dishes this is the place to go. A big shout out to the waiter Emile (hopefully, spelt correctly!) who made our time here so pleasant. The place is very lucky to have him - what a great guy. Also, for any vegetarians/vegans, there is plenty of dishes to choose from. We will definitely be back again soon. Thanks to all the staff!

After about 30 minutes waiting we finally got a table outdoors. The outdoor area was worth the wait followed by the popular apple strudel which was served warm and we really liked it. There is plenty of dessert choices in the menu and most looked amazing.

Very cute cafe yo enjoy outdoor area for having nice breakfast and brunch. It is so quiet and peaceful ☺️

The baguettes and bagels were well made and delicious. The cakes were wonderful and the coffee was tasty too. The biggest downside to this place was that the waiter that served us was very arrogant. Besides the service, this place was very nice and lovely.

Wow, location, settings,  atmosphere, service were all fabulous.   Food was average but lovely place to stop for drinks. We visited the place in a rainy day and we loved it. In a sunny day, seating in the garden must be to gorgeous too.

I can finally stop looking for the best strudel in Berlin. I found it here! Great lunch menu, good service, great coffee and fair price. Love the pumpkin soup too. Very popular so making a reservation is best if you want to be assured of a table on the weekends.
