Café International "The Flame Grill Café"

By far the best steak I've ever had. We ordered the steak mix for two, cooked rare, and the meat just melted in our mouths. You could really taste the rich, smoky grill flavors. We also tried the homemade brownies and bread pudding, both were absolutely delicious and clearly made with love. I can't recommend this place enough!

We recently enjoyed another fantastic dinner at Cafe International, this time with a group of six, and once again, it was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was so pleasant and welcoming—perfect for a relaxed evening out with friends. The food was good (as always!), with everyone at our table praising their dishes. Everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and came out promptly. A huge shout-out to the staff for their friendly and fast service. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our water glasses were filled and our orders were taken and delivered efficiently. Cafe International is simply the best! We highly recommend it for any occasion.

Everything what we ate in this restaurant was so delicious especially steaks. Very warm hospitality and amazing South African owner. We had a great time here and we enjoyed there. High recommend.

Just what we wanted and expected of this BBQ place. Casual place with BBQ food. Great ribs and “kebabs” that we can recommend.

Maybe an off time but What I got did not look the pictures in other people review for the same items. I got the mixed platter (chicken wings were breast strips and pork ribs didn’t have bones but I was unaware). Wasn’t for me but might be fir others. the Chips were very good

Very nice place and one of the best meat places you can find in the area. Very nice staff and super well located.

We got take out after coming back from the beach of fillet steak and mash, surf and turf with crispy butterfly prawns, sirloin, and mash. We were only about 3 or 4 mins walk away, so I plated up quickly and really enjoyed it. The fillet was cooked perfectly. It didn't require any sauce as was juicy, and the seared flavour from the grill and seasoning gave it great flavour. The mash is smooth and delicious. We also got Malva pudding as takeaway, which was given cold so we could reheat at home and also stop the cream melting. It was about 1 min in the microwave, and it was light and very tasty. Probably could have done with a bit more sauce but delicious all the same. We enjoyed it so much we visited the restaurant the following night. Tried the Biltong, which was very good. I repeated the 400g fillet steak and mash, and my husband had the 400g sirloin and mash. Both again cooked really well and with the amazing mash potatoes. I had a repeat of the malva pud. The people running the place are very friendly and we had a nice little chat with them at the end of the evening. When I asked how they got the mash so good.. I was advised it was half potatoes and half butter and seasoning.. that explains it 😂 Very enjoyable meals. Thank you.
