Café Janis

Had a great experience at Cafe Janis! The cappuccino was rich and creamy, and the avocado toast was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. But what truly made the visit stand out was the exceptional service from Vinicius. He was warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive, making sure everything was just right. His positive energy and welcoming attitude created such a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It’s rare to come across such dedicated service, and it made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

My wife and I dropped by for a lunch mid SEP 2024. There are seating options inside and outside. We chose a table outside. The street is right there but not to noisy. There are an adequate food selection and some beverages. We chose two salads that turned out to be very tasty. The wines we chose turned out to be just ok. Not too many selections of wine there. The service is kind.

A lovely cafe in a great location. Twice we had breakfast here as it was really good. Delicious options available and they do VG/GF options which was amazing. Service was very pleasant and super nice. If you are in the Time Out Cais do Sodré area definitely check Café Janis out 😁

Loved this place. The sandwiches are super tasty. The chicken and bacon one is a must try, especially with the addition of avocado. Staff are super friendly and professional, and the overall vibe was great.

Great coffee, cocktails and food! This corner spot is a neighborhood gem. The place gets busy, but for a reason! We enjoyed a breakfast during the week and then returned for a lunch cocktail on the weekend. The service team works hard. Nicolas was amazingly helpful and attentive. The food portions are good and cocktails served with class. We’ll be back.

Great delicious food however I felt that it was a little overpriced for the size of the portion served. Perhaps because it's in a good location but if that's the case, maybe expand on the portions for serving? Other than this, lovely ambience and very stylish cafe. friendly staff also.
