The worst place where I had breakfast in Amsterdam.
Rude service and absolutely no understanding of what hospitality means.
There is no option to order extra eggs or add ham to an egg breakfast, or even add eggs to a sandwich - only as a separate item, which makes it impossible to balance the meal.
Their argument was: ‘we don’t do personalized orders.’
The question is: is simply adding an extra ingredient really personalization, or is it an upsell and an opportunity for the business to earn more?
What’s most surprising is that, knowing my preferences and what I wanted, the waitress didn’t even try to suggest any alternatives. Instead, she continued to behave aggressively.
Oh, and if you want to get coffee to go — that’s impossible as well. They don’t have takeaway cups
