Café Kessabine is a nice spot to stop for drinks in the heart of the Medina. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for people-watching. We only had drinks, but the service was friendly and quick. Great place to take a short break and enjoy the surroundings.

Went here for a quick dessert and coffee. The owner was warm and welcoming and directed us to the roof top. The waiter who served us was friendly and service was quick. Overall a good experience though the waiter strangely asked him to tip him at the top instead at the billing place on the ground floor.

Small restaurant spread over three levels serving typical moroccan food. I had a table at the front of the top floor terrace so had a great view across part of the square. Good enjoy this view all day, which is just as well, because service was very slow, however the food is good. I recommend the tajine chicken cooked in clay pot with lemon & olives. Mint tea very refreshing.

Although it is called a cafe, you can also eat cooked food here. I had a late dinner here, a traditional dish, Tanjia marrakchia (a kind of beef stew). It was tasty, lots of lean, tender meat, well cooked. They have a small terrace on the roof (like most bars and restaurants in Marrakech), with a beautiful view towards the Jemaa el-Fna square. Unfortunately, they do not serve alcohol. Service OK. You can't pay by card.

We went here twice with the family especially because the staff was so friendly. They were really attentive and they loved our little one. Food was of good quality, not the best we had, but still pretty good. Rooftop terrace views were very nice.

Three story restaurant on the north corner of the markets main square. Top floor is a quiet roof top terrace with a nice view of the sprawling market. Quiet restaurant atmosphere in the midst of a very lively market—Good food, Friendly service. Excellent Chicken Pastilla.

I came to Café Kessabine expecting to enjoy my time, but unfortunately, I had a very uncomfortable experience. The atmosphere might seem fine at first, but the behavior of the owner was completely inappropriate. His attitude made me feel uneasy, and he came across as unprofessional and disrespectful. It’s really unfortunate because the location has potential, but the energy and treatment from management ruined the experience. I strongly advise others, especially solo visitors, to be cautious or consider choosing another café where the environment feels more respectful and welcoming. I won’t be returning.

I only tried kefta sandwich with fries. It was freshly made and very tasty, then we came back two more times just for mint tea to enjoy the atmosphere, overall very nice place
