Google
Smaller shop than the others but a lovely location and beautiful walk along the tree line. I always come here and this time brought some friends. Can walk to the Royal Palace to admire the art instillation and then walk to the Tuileries garden. Grabbed an iced oat milk matcha latte. Delicious!

Google
Nice little coffee shop offering also a small variety of cakes. Young people are buying to immediately posting pictures of the cup on social media. The park itself is beautiful, especially when everything is in bloom.

I was there on Sunday and was served by Fosti. I have to say she was a lovely person; her service and hospitality are 100/10. She recommended a pastry that I loved ( Madele chocolat Noisette ) I want to go back again, and if I do, I'll ask for her again.

Kitsuné – Coffee with a view at Palais Royal! There’s nothing better than sipping on a perfectly brewed coffee while enjoying the beauty of this historic park. The quality here is top-notch, from espresso to cappuccino, making it the perfect spot to start your day or take a break from exploring. The atmosphere is unbeatable—great coffee, stunning surroundings, and a peaceful vibe. A must-visit for coffee lovers in Paris!

Google
This is def one my favorite café kitsune locations in Paris, outside seating is limited but literally in the park so great spot to enjoy a coffee in the morning or anytime the weather is nice to be honest. There is no reserved seating so you have to wait till someone gets up, on a nice sunny day, you’ll def need to wait a bit, on a bad weather day you’ll be fine!

Café Kitsuné in Palais Royal is a stylish and cozy spot with a great atmosphere. The location is perfect for a relaxing break in the beautiful gardens. The coffee is good, but despite many glowing reviews, I found it just okay—not exceptional to my taste. However, all is compensated by a relaxing sip on a sunny day in the Palais Royal Jardin. A must visit spot anyways.

Google
Great coffee here. The place is a little difficult to find - so look for it from the inside of the Jardins de Palais Royal. The place doesn’t have a distinctive sign so refer to my photo of the front. There is another entrance from the outer street but it’s only for deliveries.

Vanessa

Google
I really liked the sacura matcha latte! The place has a big space upstairs so it’s good for a break during sightseeing (and for charging your phone 🙃). There was a quite big line but it went pretty quickly.

Yelp
Good coffee, on the pricier side, nice ambiance. Located on the interior garden side at Palais Royal. Seating is open, order inside at counter. They do accept Amex.

Yelp
My friend and I visited Café Kitsuné during our trip in Paris because we thought it would be great to stop by a cute and trendy cafe! Pros: the cafe itself is aesthetically pleasing and the service is quick despite the long lines. They also sell different Japanese/French pastries that look delicious. Cons: I felt like this cafe is always packed with tourist and the coffee was alright. If I'm going to be honest, the taste of the coffee didn't justify the price. Customer service wasn't anything special. Just your average trendy coffee shop! In my opinion, Paris is full of great coffee places. I've had the best iced coffees from smaller cafes and for half the price. If you want to visit Café Kitsuné during your trip to Paris I would recommend trying it once to get it out of your system! Otherwise I would opt for something more local in the area!

Yelp
Lovely spot near Palais Royale for coffee and treats...but beware that they have a no-laptops policy.

Yelp
Loved this cute coffee shop! One of the few places in Paris that has nondairy options for their coffee which is nice if you are lactose intolerant or sensitive. The iced latte with oatmilk was delicious. Very pretty interior as well.

Yelp
Tourist trap. Pricey and not that good. To top it off, it's so busy and it takes forever to get your food/drinks.

Yelp
Best cappuccino we had in Paris. The almond milk had such an intense almond flavor, the espresso smooth and not bitter and the perfect amount of foam. Minimalist decor with seats by the window were perfect to fit and enjoy our drinks and time off our feet.
google avatar

J B.

Yelp
One of the few real coffee shops around! Surprisingly hard to find around Paris, if you're looking beyond you're regular cappuccino or coffee with milk. Went there a few times during our stay!

Yelp
Cafe Kitsune was such a cute little place to rest and grab a drink before heading over to Tuileres Garden and the Louvre. The aesthetic is on point and the huge mirrored wall is perfect to Instagram your Parisian OOTD. Beyond the aesthetic, I wasn't too impressed but maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I got the Yuzu & Miel Glace (Iced Yuzu & Honey). It was very refreshing but for 5 euros it was a bit underwhelming and very similar to Korean yuja-cha that I could make for myself at home. Cute but everything just seemed a bit overpriced.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and order the yuzu and honey tea. One of the best teas I've ever ordered at a cafe!
google avatar

Liselle L.

Yelp
Service here is understandably slow, as there was only one man taking people's orders/prepping customers' drinks/snacks. We ended up getting the vanilla ice cream here and had to wait around 15 minutes for a scoop of ice cream. Although delicious, something tasted off about the ice cream. I'm not exactly sure why it tasted a bit strange, but it wasn't the most pleasant vanilla ice cream. It did the job of filling me up in the meanwhile, although I wouldn't recommend coming here.

Yelp
A super cute, super tiny spot near a lovely park, Café Kitsuné is a little hard to find unless you know where to look. I was feeling verdant, and I had a green tea latte with oat milk and a pistachio madeleine -- this was a delightful combo, and a nice little refuel on a morning walk through Paris. The design of Café Kitsuné is super cute, and they have excellent merch -- everything is in a very millenial-friendly, Instagram-ready aesthetic. There are definite ~vibes~ here, but it's hard to linger since the space is so small.

Yelp
Amazing little cafe walking distance from my hotel. No language barrier. Barista was very welcoming and second time I came in had remembered my drink order. Amazing matcha latte, authentic matcha powder none of that matcha with sugar all ready added BS. Milk alternatives available - they carried Otaly which I was surprised (very delicious oat milk brand). The cafe was new, clean and pristine inside. They also have all your coffee drinks- espressos, macchiato's, ice lattes etc available. Delicious !!

Yelp
This place is Instagram famous! I recall seeing their logos on their to-go cups many moons ago before my trip to Paris. We were walking around the Palais Royal when I spotted this café. Being a lover of both intimate cafés and matcha, I knew I had to try Café Kitsuné out. Kitsune in Japanese means fox, hence their signature fox shortbread cookie. You may recognize the name from Maison Kitsuné, a popular Parisian fashion label. In Japan, the fox is believed to have the power to change its own appearance and this line wishes to bring that to life with different appearances in fashion, music, design, and food. They launched Café Kitsuné in Tokyo back in 2012 and brought it to Paris a few years later. And true to the clothing line's minimalist aesthetic, their café is no different - charming and chic to a T. This place is as tiny as can be, with just a few stools along the wall and not much standing or sitting room. Particularly on beautiful days, it is wise to take your coffee to go and sit in the nearby garden of the Palais Royal. You can expect the traditional coffee offerings here, as well as tea, juices, and pastries. Coffee is from Workshop Coffee Company, a London-based roastery. However, their most popular item is their matcha latte (whether hot or iced). Since I am a matcha fanatic, I ordered one to drink in the café and it was delightful. The matcha here is strong and pronounced but not bitter. I thoroughly enjoyed my matcha latte and so desperately wish that there was one close to me. I would come here everyday if I lived in Paris. Café Kitsuné, please come to the States!

Yelp
Cafe Kitsune was on my MUST VISIT list for my Paris trip. Not only was the coffee very good, but the decor and the overall vibe was fantastic. I've tried a couple of items one the menu including the limited honey and yuzu drink. It's also a perfect place for Instagram photos!

Yelp
Matcha lattes are just alright. They tasted a little watered down IMO, so I probably wouldn't return again. We came here since it was nearby the Jardin Du Palais Royal. The barista was very friendly, though!
google avatar

Chloe K.

Yelp
By all means enjoy the garden (it's public), but don't waste your money on this overpriced, dirty, bland coffee served by rude filthy waitresses. Staff here needs to be taught proper hygiene. There are other good coffee and pastry shops close by.

Sean M.

Yelp
Great coffee and super quick service. The staff was very friendly as well. Would go back again.

Yelp
The cutest little hipster cafe just adjacent to the Palais Royal. I was making my second round at the Louvre and decided to stop by Kitsune as I was headed back to my hotel. I got confused and ended up at the back/storage of the cafe and saw the sign, but the door was closed and no windows to see in. Make sure you follow the path adjacent to the garden/walkway against the colonades and don't go behind it - you'll figure it out if you made the same mistake as me...it will look sketch. I got the Matcha Latte - I did put one bag of organic sugar, because it's very dry tasting...it's not sweet like a Starbucks matcha latte and the matcha flavor is STRONG so if you enjoy matcha you'll like this otherwise you're better off getting a coffee drink. The lemon pastry cake/bread was good AF. Get THIS! Took off a star because it's sooooo overpriced.
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute storefront and interior. Barista is also fluent in English, which is nice for foreigners like me. Very minimal menu and service. Also ridiculously overpriced cookies. Their signature shortbreads, which are little foxes, are cute not doubt, but way too small to justify 3.50€. Their regular cookies of the day are also pretty small. I ordered a matcha latte. Their coffee comes unsweetened and you add the sugar yourself. It was quite strong and grassy, which is what real matcha tastes like. I think the quality of their coffee is pretty good, but once again the servings are pretty small. My latte was probably around 6-8 oz, which is not out of ordinary if you order for here and drink it in a little cappuccino mug, but as an American I have grown accustomed to my 24 oz venti cups of joe, and so the tiny little to go cup was kind of surprising. Very cute though. I would say you pay more for the atmosphere and the branding then for the actual coffee.

Yelp
Decent location adjacent to a beautiful open park. Limited inside seating with roughly 5 stools at a high bar counter. Outside seating is much better. Nice wait staff who accommodated my broken French. Wi-fi signal is very restricted and doesn't cover the outside seating well. I came here to knock out a bit of work and was sorely disappointed when even 4 steps outside of their front entrance in their designated outdoor seating I couldn't access a stable connection. The cafe latte was good but not the best I've had this far, that for me goes to Kozy cafe simply for the richness, creaminess and smoothness of my latte. But other than the cramped seating and lack of reliable wi-fi I don't have any major qualms with Cafe Kitsume. I was still able to read a book in a nice park with friendly service and a serviceable latte. Wish I could give the raving review I've given other businesses here in Paris, but my personal experience was as listed prior. Best, Jesse

Yelp
Stopped by here during our trip in September after visiting the Louvre, as I'm sure most customers do. All praise, its super cute and the employees are friendly. and Wow to find oat milk in Paris! The only downfall is that you'll be forced to pay for overpriced coffee as this seemed to be the only place in the vicinity where one could find iced coffee. It's a treat, like everything in Paris I suppose.
google avatar

Colleen G.

Yelp
I would give 5 out of 5 but sometimes service and coffee is inconsistent here. I really like this cafe, and I happened to move a block away so I come here all the time. The café itself is pretty small with bar seating, and when the weather is nice they put chairs out in the jardin. Jardin Palais Royal is one of my favorite spots in Paris, it's tucked away so it's usually calm during the week. It gets extremely busy here on the weekends, I prefer during the week. My favorite thing here is the iced mocha, omg it's incredible. I don't usually order mocha's, but I was feeling adventurous last week. Now I'm obsessed. *Oh and if you live in Paris they have a loyalty card which most cafes don't offer.*

Yelp
Café Kitsuné was featured on one of the many blogger's such-trendy-must-caffeinate lists that I read while preparing to go to Paris two weeks ago. As promised, it was very, very trendy. It's pretty small, with limited indoor seating space but plenty more seats on the exterior. We mostly ended up here because it's very close to Baguett's, the café we went to for breakfast. In the interest of overindulging (when in Paris?) we traipsed over to Le Jardin du Palais Royal and re-caffeinated. After figuring out that as a general rule, iced matcha is the way to go, I decided to try one at Café Kitsuné. Their secret? Sweeten it with agave syrup. Magnifique! There was also an espresso shot involved, and they know how to make a strong espresso.

Alizabeth I.

Yelp
The location is amazing I would come here couple times a week if I lived in Paris They have very limited seating but plenty of gardens benches to sip your coffee WiFi only works inside and the inside is no place to enjoy coffee with the line and people waiting for their coffee Not convenient as a tourist that needs wifi I thought the coffee was excellent. Very strong in flavor both iced and hot. Their pastries are small and expensive Also restroom was very clean and stocked
google avatar

Dan M.

Yelp
Touristy yet cute and tasty. The prices are a bit higher with mostly standard fare. The one item of note was the white matcha, which had an inclusion of white hot chocolate. Likely won't be coming back next time I'm in the area but the music was pretty chill and the staff were accommodating.
google avatar

Sophia B.

Yelp
Came here because I heard this was some of the best coffee in Paris. I had a VERY solid latte and if you're in the area I definitely recommend. It's close to an American coffee house where you order your coffee up at the bar and pay, and you can either have your coffee for there or to go. They have some seats directly in front of the smaller storefront where you can sit and enjoy your coffee, but those may be filled up. There is plenty of bench seating around though so don't be worried if you can't find a seat right away.

Yelp
Best coffee in town. No food but nice pastries. Inside palace royal. Get a fox with your coffee

Yelp
Delicious coffee to take away and enjoy the Palau's Royals gardens. The coffee tasted so so good!
google avatar

Angie C.

Yelp
Where can you get a fox cookie, lemon lie sorbet and caffeine with outdoor seating looking at the gardens of Palais Royal? Bonus: free wifi #cafekitsune

Mariam B.

Yelp
Cute tiny place. I ordered the Yuzu and my husband iced latte. The yuzu was refreshing on a warm day. Not too sweet not bitter, the tiny fruit pieces make a good snack lol. My husband didn't mention anything about his drink so probably nothing special about it. I honestly feel like this is just a cute spot to take a photo to post to your IG or story but there's so many spots in Paris that could do the same. If you're strolling the Palais Garden and need a pick me up then yeah come here but don't go out of your way to get a drink.
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
Cafe Kitsune has a nice location off the Palais Royal. It was a bit difficult to find the first time but if it was on a main road, it wouldn't have the same peaceful appeal. Many of the drinks and treats are matcha flavored. My latte was pretty good and service was quick. There isn't a lot of seating inside but I don't know why anyone would sit inside on a nice day when you have an open park area a few steps away. 3.5 stars.
google avatar

Yelp
Completely disappointed 1.Super small pace 2.Service was so rude bad temper (or that's normal temper I'm not sure) 3.drinks no taste like water 4. I never taste that kind of no taste cake 5. Tourists place 6.I will never go back 7. If you want to try good luck

Yelp
tldr; cute tiny coffee store that serves proper espresso based drinks I love this place so much. It's tucked away in the Royal Palace, so not sure how anyone stumbles in upon this place, but it's the definition of a gem. It reminds me of everything I love in SF -- cute bougie coffee store serving up proper espresso based drinks. Cafe Kitsune the store itself is basically standing room only -- they have a few small tables right outside the store at the perimeter of the courtyard if you want to sit and enjoy your drink. The menu contains coffees, teas, and iced drinks. I've gotten a latte (4 euros) here and an iced yuzu (5 euros). The latte was pretty good, even by SF standards which I was really impressed by. Cafe Kitsune might really be one of the few places that serves a proper SF latte. The iced yuzu was a little underwhelming, but still tasty on a hot summer day (basically was some yuzu rinds mixed in with hot water, poured over ice). Service here is English friendly, 8 euro minimum for credit card. Lovely gem of a place and worth a quick stop if you're touristing in the area.
google avatar

Carol L.

Yelp
My sister and I determined that Cafe Kitsune was a must-visit during our Paris trip and we ended up going twice. While coffee in France is supposed to be meh, their latte was really good. The store location is parfait. Grab a coffee, matcha latte, sorbet, and/or kitsune cookie and go sit on one of the benches outside and people watch! Or flâner about with your drink and go to Palais-Royal. The service was hit or miss. One of the baristas was really cold towards us and one exuded warmth and friendliness. The cafe is small and could get cramped but that's also the charm.
google avatar

Meg G.

Yelp
This place is fab in my book in a practicability aspect: It's simple, and in a prime location. The gluten free cakes always are a huge plus in my book (even better when made by Jenny!), and I'm thrilled that it's a place that you're not meant to sit for hours. Have a chat while standing, or grab your coffee to go and stroll trough the Jardin du Palais Royale. Perfection and a new concept. On a final note, they open early, so a quick espresso before work is a possibility.
google avatar

Faye B.

Yelp
This little cafe is nestled in the heart of the Palais Royal gardens and what better backdrop could one ask for when drinking their coffee? Really, these gardens are some of my favourite in the city. I may say that about every other garden in Paris but there is something very special about the this open space framed with some of the most beautiful Parisian architecture with matching grey blinds. Anyway back to the cafe.. The coffee is divine and the service was very friendly which is always pleasing. On a warm day I could not think of a better place to go for a coffee as you can enjoy your drink on one of the benches outside and be surrounded with the beauty of these gardens. In fact I think I will be stopping here on at least a weekly basis when summer comes around. Having said that I definitely wouldn't choose to come here in the winter simply because there isn't any seating which can prove a bit of a problem when going to a cafe. Some people are really into the whole grabbing a coffee and standing at the bar scene and whilst I like it as a concept I usually head to a cafe to sit down and catch up with friends which because much more difficult without seats. Anyhow that wasn't the idea behind Cafe Kitsune and I love it for what it is. They also serve Bob's cold press juices which are incredible and a tempting selection of baked goods.
google avatar

Eileen C.

Yelp
The only reason this place gets two stars is because of the cute Asian lady who was scrubbing plates like no other in the cafe. First off, let me warn you that this place is incredibly hard to find. If you're using the metro, the closest one is Pyramides and then you have to go through two mini passage ways to get to a courtyard. I'm sure it's pretty in the spring and summer but it's ugly as hell in the winter. I got here at 4:55 pm only to be told they are closing at 5 pm. Everywhere it says they are open until 6 pm. Okay, cool whatever, I can take it for take out since I've been waiting for months to try this place. I ordered the green tea matcha hot chocolate for 6€ and a fox cookies for 2€. Matcha drink tasted and looked like ass. It was obvious they were eager to close because my drink had the ugliest latte art. I could barely taste the chocolate. Why did this crap cost 6€? Did they gather the matcha themselves? This was actually awful. The fox cookie broke within seconds and it was at most two bites. As to why anyone would pay 2€ for this, I do not know. It was kind of dry and just NOT WORTH IT. My review for this place would be the same even if I was able to dine in. This place is hyped up and it really is not worth it. Aki Boulanger is closer to the metro and has better treats and drinks for a fraction of the price.
google avatar

Garrett P.

Yelp
This place is super cute, next to this gorgeous park and it's a traditional cafe but a matcha spot with fox cookies. Yay
google avatar

Eric D.

Yelp
Having already established a pop-up store in the gardens of Paris' Palais Royal, Maison Kitsuné is back with a new concept, the Café Kitsuné. Inspired by a similar project in Tokyo in February 2012, the Parisian label wanted to create an intimate café fusing the worlds of fashion, music and design. The concept echoes the ethos of Maison Kitsuné, which was first established as both a ready-to-wear brand and a music label. As well as coffee, tea, juice and gluten-free cakes and cookies prepared by the restaurant Noglu, Café Kitsuné will offer a selection of compilations and accessories, all by Kitsuné.
google avatar

Agata R.

Yelp
A wonderful spot for expertly prepared espresso drinks (you know folks know their stuff when there's a La Marzocco espresso machine involved). Tables outside overlook a gorgeous courtyard with trees, a garden, & a fountain. A lovely quiet spot away from the crowds and hustle & bustle of Louvre.
google avatar

J Y.

Yelp
I visit Kitsune everytime i visit Paris. Always felt the staff is a littlebit tired of dealing with customers and tourists. The only reasons that i still come and grab to go are good coffee and thier understanding of how to make Americano right :) Coffee is not super decent but better than others. Service is really a problem but i can bear with it....May switch if i find any better option nearby.
google avatar

Kim V.

Yelp
This is a very good place in the middle of Paris to get some very good coffee. The location is awesome. It is very nice to go here on a sunny day, get your coffee and sit outside in the park next to the fountain. It is a very charming place. In the winter this place would be more handy to get your coffee to go. Inside are a few seats but not so many so it is quickly full. The coffee is worth a little walk though since it is very good. Café Kitsune also has ice-cream and sometimes a matcha latte. They are officially Japanese. There are also some kitsune goodies for sale here like tote bags.

Susie O.

Yelp
I was very excited to visit this café as I've seen so many cute pictures of it on social media, but was surprised at how tiny the café actually is. There's just one small line of bar seating, which if you're lucky may find a seat. There were no outdoor tables out when I visited, probably because it was winter? The cute fox cookies were definitely overpriced at 3.5euros a piece, but were very cute and their lattes were decent. Overall, it was a nice one time experience. There are better cafés elsewhere in Paris.

Ale G.

Yelp
Google said they close at 6:30 on Mondays. So we went at 5:59 pm and didn't let us in. We walked a long way to get to the cafe for this surprise. What a waste of time.
google avatar

Alison M.

Yelp
Cafe Kitsune fit the bill for exactly what my friend and I needed on my first day in Paris last fall - a coffee shop, that wasn't a chain, that would allow us to grab coffees to go in order to keep exploring (and keep our hands warm)! The location of this little shop can't be beat. It's on the interior perimeter of the Palais Royal which was already on our list to wander around and near the Galerie Vivienne. It was a mid-morning on a weekday and the shop wasn't busy at all - just one or two people already enjoying their coffees at the bar. We were able to order drinks quickly and easily, as the barista spoke English and was very friendly. I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Oskar W.

Yelp
The location is prime and very pretty. Take a stroll throughout the park with a cup of good coffee from Kitsuné, or be seated on a hot summer day on their terrace. The service is friendly, while the coffee is good. Ok, my cappuccino was a little too milky compared to normal standards, but still decent.

Cindy O.

Yelp
Love the Chai Latte. Great way to stroll around the garden in winter with a hot cuppa
google avatar

Yahtzee A.

Yelp
Kind of crowded and the matcha latte and service was so-so... There were also no tables available on the outside because it was so crowded. But for the location the place may be worth a visit if you're in the area and needed a coffee break.
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
So excited to visit the Cafe Kitsune I found it by chance on the map! It's a simple cafe with good coffee. I love Kitsune everything!!

Yelp
Came here just because it is a popular place the bloggers I follow have breakfast at. It was very expensive, my latte was good but I mean I paid 10 euros for a piece of carrot bread and a drink.
