Café Kokomo

The wait can be truly brutal to score a spot at this popular brunch spot, however it is very much worth the wait. Amazing food that is reasonably priced. You get spectacular flavor and freshness from each item on the menu. Only regret was not being able to try more of it!

I found this place thanks to a recommendation from a local mademoiselle. She was absolutely right about the food. Despite of the long wait, due to the business of the place, it was a great experience. I had the dish of the day, which was a real jamboree of different vegetables. The aubergine in pancake coating was a true delight! The folks are welcoming and friendly. Not to mention the wine I had, which was also beautifully balanced and tasty! Highly recommended if you have an hour to spare.

Had breakfast here every week for four months. Server recognised me & everytime I would walk up to the store, he would ask, “pancakes and cappucino?” Pancakes are a visual and gastronomical treat — thick creamy yoghurt drizzled with honey, with a variety of fruits like figs, grapes, oranges, and granola hugging the pancakes. Nutritious and yum. Tried their scrambled eggs before and they were good too.

Best food we’ve had in Bordeaux, flavorful pancakes with crisp bacon and runny eggs. Huevos rancheros was also a nice mix of fresh ingredients. Lovely start to our day overall

Very beautiful colourful place. The staff is very lovely and kind. Glad to find a place where people actually respond to me in English as I can't speak French. The service was fast and the brunch was great and very filling.

Very colorful place managed by young kind guys. Ideal for having brunch. The dishes were really tasty, they have also smoothies and fresh juices. Prices are a little bit high but ok. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Delicious breakfast. Very clean, open kitchen. Breakfast plate for 10€, menu with cold, hot drinks 20€. Tea and coffee for 4€. Usually there is a wait if you come around 11.

Cute little café where I had coffee and muesli on A Friday morning in Bordeaux. It was so good we went back another day and had a delicious brunch. 'Coolest' most international café we went to in Bordeaux. Staff was really great.

A very nice breakfast place. Tiny but cozy, with a few terrace tables outside. Very nice food, as well as smoothies and hot drinks.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Awesome prices and fresh ingredients. The menu does not have a lot of options just tacos and burritos but they do them well. I would come here again and again.
