Cafe Lazare

We loved the food, particularly on the German day today. The special care and professionalism of Chef Ayman, Fred, Shafi and Erwin felt us special. I was born in Germany but didn’t know that Germany had special and delicious food. The meat options with juicy sauces, the soup with smoked salmon, the crème brulet. We also had the chance to taste the Jordanian Lahmacun specially prepared for our son which was also very delicious… so the 75€ half board price was definitely worth it :)

Delicious breakfast with so many options to choose from, fresh fruits and delicious baked goods, also gluten free bread options available, the best part about it probably was the sweet lady with the basket of freshly baked muffins, always spreading joy around and handing over authentic creole goodies

The Cafe Lazare is also our breakfast place and for that it is fine. However, I am rating the creole dinner we had, which was fine but way overpriced for the quality it offered (around 80 Euro pP without drinks) - also compared to surrounding restaurants which are offering better food for less than half the price. The service was good and also the atmosphere with the lit pool is good. Overall it is just way too pricy and as a hotel guest you feel a bit “cheated” because it’s simply more comfortable to stay in the hotel restaurant.

Most of the staff were helpful, courteous and welcoming. There was a wide range of food and drinks choices for breakfast and dinner. You had to be careful or else the birds sometimes came for one's food.

Este restaurante esta localizado no resort Kempinski. Atendimento cordial. Jantar no sistema buffet self-service com muitas opções desde comida regional creole, pescados, carnes e massas. Você pode pedir para grelhar os pescados e frutos do mar na hora. Ambiente aconchegante. Recomendo.
