The food here is good, good prices for the amount of food you get. Went on a weekend and it was pretty busy. It's not a very large restaurant but very nicely put together. The service, even though it was pretty busy, was great. They I believe are only open until 3pm, but check the open days and times if you plan on trying this out. It's prob the best spot in the area for breakfast. Oh the parking may be difficult, street parking only, no parking lot.

I’m guessing it’s very popular. Got there around 10am and it was pack. Had a 15min wait. Otherwise food was great! Our server was Mackenzie and she was very helpful and very attentive. Also be ready to walk, there is very limited parking. Great atmosphere.

Went out with a group of friends for lunch, and someone suggested this place, really glad I got to try it. It’s in a historic building in Cudahy, and is full of vintage charm. Our server was super friendly and attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave helpful recommendations. Our group ordered steak and eggs, a skillet dish, broccoli cheddar soup, and avocado toast. Generous portions and reasonable prices. The breakfast potatoes were just diced frozen potatoes, and mine were barely lukewarm, but overall everything was delicious. The smoothie of the day was passion fruit, which was incredible!

This is hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I both got the steak and eggs, and they were amazing. I am obsessed with the strawberry spritz as well!!! We will absolutely be back soon!

Was driving by and decided to stop in for breakfast, I ordered the chorizo skillet which was tasty and very satisfying, the interior is very clean and the staff is very friendly, the coffee and soda refills came fast, we did almost skip this place since the garden area out front was overgrown with weeds and it looked like they were closed but we tried the doors and were happy we did

Don't order the "French vanilla cappuccino"!!! It tastes like hot chocolate - not a hint of coffee taste. I told the waitress that I thought she may have brought hot chocolate instead of coffee "No, that's cappuccino" and went on to explain that's it's a powder mix - no real coffee in it at all... so basically hot chocolate that they charge $3.50. I didn't drink it ... I didn't want hot chocolate ... but she still charged me. The food: the eggs were obviously farm fresh ... nice bright orange yolks, and they were cooked perfectly for both of us (over easy and over medium). The corned beef hash though ... the stuff from the can - cooked well, browned nicely, but the stuff from the can - for $13+. I think there was a little butter on my toast, but not sure. I was excited to check this place out. It's beautiful inside. The menu looks good, but ... I won't go back.

Our family had a great experience at La Crema this morning for breakfast. Our server, Makenzie, was very friendly and made us feel welcome and not rushed at all, even with our two boys under two. The food was delicious. The coffee was hot. The vibe was super relaxed for a Saturday morning. We will definitely be back!

I always enjoy my visits to Le Creme. They are consistent, pleasant, and just plain good at delivering what they promise. The dining area is clean and bright, with dark woods and repurposed furniture in odds and ends. The menu has some signature classic breakfast and brunch items, as well as some newer favorites. (Try the stuffed French Toast and the Avocado Toast).

Pretty typical diner-style restaurant. Loved the bright windows and comfy booths. Clean and organized. Went in at 11:45am on a Sunday and had a 10 minute wait for 2. Coffee was nice and hot- had half & half and French Vanilla creamer. Food was ok and the reason I docked a star. Ordered the Breakfast Sandwich and Carnivore Skillet with a side of pancakes. Carnivore Skillet- good and my husband had no complaints! He said it's hard to mess up a skillet. Pancakes were delicious Breakfast Sandwich and hash browns were cold and the sandwich got a bit soggy after it was sitting on my plate for a few minutes. I took half of it home and it tasted better after being thrown in the oven for a few minutes. We will be back!

I ordered breakfast through DoorDash and everything was fine. Food is obviously better when dining in but it satisfied my craving for an omelette.

We had a wonderful mother's day brunch here at Cafe Le Creme (I actually think they have slightly changed the name since I visited but the menu looks the same). Don't be intimidated by the crowds...we came at 12:00 on mother's day...so yes :) there was a bit of a wait. They don't take reservations but you can give your name and number and they will let you know when something opens. I would say the wait was about 30 minutes. Staff was so friendly and accommodating though. It's an old house, and the service was great. Coffee, tea and water were kept quickly refilled and our food came out pretty quick. Highlights included the California omelet and Le Creme crepes. Despite the crowd and the fact that there's no official parking lot, I found angle parking right across the street pretty quickly. Id love to go back and try a savory dish or their French toast. Don't count cudahy out for brunch!

This morning we came to our usual spot for our Sunday breakfast and found out that not only was this place under a new ownership, but also the name changed to Café La crème brûlée. The menu has also been updated with a few new things although our server did say that they did not get a shipment in to fill those quite yet they added things such as a chicken skillet. That looks really really good. I ended up getting a morning starter with two eggs over easy and French toast. Everything was really tasty however, when I had some of the bacon it was very salty. We also ordered the healthy skillet minus spinach because for some reason, I just can't do spinach and a skillet. Had a side of bacon, and that was also really salty. Not sure what happened because this is never usually the case. It was pretty crowded today and if you were having more than two people up for a table, you're probably gonna have to wait a little bit, but it's definitely worth the weight and the menus nice although I miss the laminated ones. It wasn't too loud in the restaurant today and everything came out pretty quickly. Like I said, this is our usual spot so we'll definitely be back and I'm looking forward to trying in the new menu items !

Omg the food is so good!! Absolutely delicious reminds me of home cooked meals. Wait time was basically nothing. The young beautiful woman that helped me was so kind. The place was so pretty and clean.

Not many places do breakfast and lunch well. This place does. Across from old train station and an old two story house. Great service but really great food. I had a patty melt with soup. Solid. I like mine med to med rare and they did it perfect. Most places overcook it. My FIL got his jalapeno burger well done and he loved it. But more importantly our strawberry crepes were light and sweet and fresh. Just a great local spot to drive too for brunch.

Stopped in on Labor Day on my way to Grant Park. The restaurant isn't that big and most of the tables were full but the staff was really friendly and welcoming. I needed coffee and they kept my cup refilled. I had the salsa verde omelette with pancakes because I always get pancakes at breakfast when it's an option. The omelette was good and I liked the potatoes, but the pancakes were great, hot with butter and warm syrup. Next time I may just get pancakes. But the chicken in the omelette tasted homemade and I enjoyed the meal overall. Cute little cafe also.

Made my return today, and I was less impressed than I was during my first visit about a month ago. I ordered the Denver omelette and it was pretty overdone. Like overdone to the point where I couldn't get past the first few bites. I got fresh fruit for one side, which mostly consisted of tough, unripe honeydew, and pancakes for my other side. The pancakes were fine. No complaints there. Our server was super friendly and incredibly efficient, but almost to the point where the experience felt a bit rushed. It was pretty packed when we arrived around 10 a.m., so we got a spot at the bar. Aside from the spare chairs stacked behind us (heavily detracting from the ambiance IMO), it was a fine spot to sit. To be honest, I don't know if Cafe Le Creme (still a little unclear about the name of this restaurant) will be at the top of my list when I look for a Sunday breakfast spot in the future.

Off of a flight from Baltimore, quick stop for breakfast and food was delicious! Quickly greeted warmly, seated and ordered. Very attentive staff and inviting atmosphere. Constant stream of people coming in showed the quality and value of the establishment

Got breakfast at La Crema this past Sunday and it was delicious! We arrived at around 11 am and didn't have to wait for a table which was nice! We were greeted right away when we got to our table and our waitress was very nice. It was pretty busy when we were there but overall it had a really nice atmosphere and we were able to enjoy each other's company. For food we got omelets and pancakes. Both omelets were delicious and so were the pancakes. It's a good amount of food that you get and is decently priced. I definitely want to go back to try some other items on their menu!

The atmosphere is lively and the staff is friendly and attentive. We had three entrees and some extra things for the table. The food was great only complaint was my over medium eggs were closer to over easy and I returned my toast because it was barely toasted there was no brown on it and it was completely soft. I waitress is great about taking it back she did offer us to have a new order but we declined that. We will definitely be back and just hope for a better experience

Hidden gem but a cute little area. Service was so good and our waitress was so nice. Pleasantly surprised at the food - the best crepes I've ever had in Milwaukee!

We love this place! The food is consistently good. You can tell they have a lot of regular patrons, and for good reason. One of our favorite spots for a weekend brunch. The ambiance is charming, the staff is warm, friendly, and on top of their game. You can't go wrong with a side of pancakes and if you are wondering, the biscuits are almost as good (if not AS good) as they make in the south.

This was the new restaurant of the week stop by for breakfast. The building is kinda unusual with a turret in front which makes for a cozy dining spot in the restaurant. The decor is like country cafe. The service was kinda slow because every table was in use on my visit. The menu has all the regulars and the carnivore skillet would be my choice with sourdough bread. Skip the sourdough toast because it's so generic/commercial and for all I know it was white bread with no similarity to sourdough bread. The carnivore skillet is ham, sausage, bacon, cheese on a bed of potatoes. I was kinda unimpressed with the skillet but not for what you might think, it was heavy on the meat but very light on the potatoes which is the opposite of the usual skillet and I was craving potatoes. Overall the skillet was good other than that.

The food was delish! Service was prompt and proactive. Would recommend for anyone looking for a breakfast or brunch!

2 stars because my Mom swears this isn't the usual. Walking in I noticed how amazing some of the patrons avocado toast was! Really theirs looked great. Check out the photo. ‍ I know restaurants get busy. I too have been in the service industry. I can count on one hand in my life I have sent something back. This time with the wait I just asked for them to take it off the bill. After the waitress informing me multiple times how busy they were I would have felt bad if she had to wait for us. She then asked me what was wrong with it ummm I said "well, look at it." All of our food was cold. As it was but I only sent mine back out of the 6 not awesome meals.

First time here as we wanted to try somewhere new. The space and location itself is really what makes this restaurant stand out. It's next to the Cudahy historical society and in a seemingly historic building. I had called to make a "reservation" the day before for 11am on a Sunday and our table was ready at 10:50am. The place was completely full though. The waitress was very polite and very attentive. The food portions were large, but it wasn't the best brunch or breakfast food I've had in the area. The potatoes had good flavor, but were undercooked. My wife's dish onion & green pepper proportions were way off sadly aka farrrr too many onions. We will certainly be back to try other menu items.

I've been door dashing at this place and finally got to try it myself. It's a cute little place with ample seating and a bar. They are open for breakfast/brunch until 3pm. There is plenty of parking on the street. My daughter had the stuffed french toast. Topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream. The interior was stuffed with cream cheese. $13. Mine was a basic breakfast platter with eggs sausage and french toast. Also delish! Iced coffee awesomeness! We will for sure come back!

Food was delicious! Really loved the crepes con crema that I got! Service was fast and not rushed either! Very nice people! Ambiance was beautiful as it looked recently remodeled. My wife and I were very happy to dine here for breakfast! 10/10!

First visit. Nice menu with many options. The place was busy but not packed (day before Thanksgiving). It was, however, louder than a diner on 5th Avenue in NYC during the morning rush! The server seemed to think I was deaf and spoke very loudly yet fast. We sat in a comfortable booth but shrieking children ruined the ambiance of room. Our breakfast was very tasty, serving size was fairly large and a good value. But, The decaf coffee tasted like Nescafé or some other powdered instant. Perhaps next visit I will try the caffeinated coffee. We will likely return for breakfast and another chance to enjoy a meal.

My friend suggested this place for brunch and we checked it out on a Saturday about noon. It's located just past St. Francis, in Cudahy and it's located near was appears to be their 'downtown'. The place is charming and clean with street parking very close by, I didn't have any issues. They have a variety of brunch and lunch options, we all opted for brunch. There were 3 of us total and we all enjoyed our meals! They offer pancakes as a toast option too, which I always love. Service was great, especially since we delayed ordering a few times since myself and my friends were too busy catching up HA. I would definitely visit again, it was less than 15 minutes from downtown Milwaukee. Note they close at 3PM.

They provided wrong order to go even though I went into the restaurant and placed the order. After traveling home, discovering they gave me the wrong order and then having to go back to the restaurant, they would not give me a full refund even though I no longer wanted the food I originally ordered due to the inconvenience. I even spoke with the owner and he refused to provide the full refund.

Crema has the best breakfast on the south side!! The staff is amazing and conscious of your time getting the orders in quick. The atmosphere is perfect for visiting with friends or grabbing a quick breakfast solo.we love Creme!!

We went to La Crema on a Saturday morning for brunch and there was about a 15 minute wait...not too bad. The place is small and the service was good. I ordered the chicken and waffles, while my husband ordered the pancake meal, which came with eggs and a meat. He chose sausage Pattie's. Our meal took about 20 minutes to come out after ordering, which was fine. Once we ate our food and had time to digest, my husband said he thought everything was pretty average and wasn't sure if he would order it again. My food was tasty with the hot honey, but the chicken didn't taste like something they made in house, but rather came frozen and was fried. All in all, it was a fine experience, although we are not sure if we will return.

Food is always good, and comes out fast! On Saturday and Sundays there is usually a wait but if you can get there early it usually not terrible. I really like their french toast! It's classic French toast, nothing fancy, reminds me of what my dad would make when we were kids! The inside is cute and well maintained. I always feel comfortable.

A really good choice for brunch. The location is good, it's not busy with lots of traffic so there's always parking. It's a lovely place, inside and out, with comfortable booths and attentive service. I like their breakfast choices, especially their pancakes. The coffee is hot and fresh. Since it's the nicest and best choice for breakfast in the area, Saturday morning is not the time to go, instead opt for slightly off times later or earlier in the morning, or any weekday morning.

We were recently in the area picking up a new (but actually not new at all--very vintage) bicycle at South Shore Cyclery and decided to pick up some lunch in the area, which brought us to La Crema. What a cute spot! The dining area was impeccably clean (and we were there on a holiday weekend). Our party of four was able to be seated straight away. It looks like they are most known for their breakfast items, but they do have a lovely lunch menu as well. I ordered their veggie melt, which was served on sourdough and tasted a bit like a veggie philly. It was delicious. For my side, I got their french fries which were thick cut, crispy, and delicious. Our server was kind and attentive. All in all a great spot. Looking forward to giving their breakfast a try! Get to it!

Breakfast comfort at its finest. I have been here twice while traveling for work to the area and I don't think I will ever look for another spot. The food is delicious with many breakfast options and lunch fare. Quick service and friendly people also don't hurt. The building is super cute it's clearly an older building that they have kept up or rehabbed. Overall you want some great breakfast fare and solid drip coffee this is your place to go!

A new traditional breakfast & brunch restaurant in Cudahy! Pleasant casual atmosphere. Not too big. The decor is cute. Decent food quality. Nice service. Reasonable prices. Worth a five-star for the area. I arrived at 10:40AM on Saturday and the waiting line was really long. Luckily since I was alone I got seated right away at the bar. I saw some people brought their books and ate while reading quietly at the bar, while others who came with families or friends chatted happily in the table area - just made you feel really good about this place. I got a La Crema omelette w fruits and pancakes. I am not an omelette fan but this one looked really good to me. And it didn't disappoint me. Avocado, bacon and slightly spicy jalapeño... very flavorful. The fruits were fresh and actually a lot for a side. The pancakes were fluffy and yummy - they served warm syrup and I liked that! My only suggestion is that since they just opened, be prepared to wait as the service could be slow when they are busy. I waited about 15 mins to get my food order in and another 20mins to get my food.

Located south of Milwaukee, this eclectic building is home to a wonderful breakfast lunch spot for you, a date, family, or catching up with old friends. I had the avocado toast with the green salad on the side. Yum! My date had the Turkey club sandwich with yummy French fries. The menu has quite the range and the staff is very welcoming. Thank you for taking care of us! We will be back.

Sunday at 10 and a walk-in table of 6. We were delighted with no wait and a nice round table where we could all converse. They were plenty busy but service was spot on with coffee, water, and brought all the extras such as butter, creamer, syrup before we could ask. Everyone enjoyed their skillets and omelets. Will be back!

Food was properly cooked, service was fast and the ambiance was an older historic building. Beautiful architecture, accessible parking. I had a waffle with bacon and two eggs sunny side up. The egg yolks were runny and the whites were firm as they should be, plus they handed me a bottle of maple syrup that was warm which helped melt the butter and it was the perfect way to start the day. We will meet there again. Unfortunately they don't take reservations but they do have a waiting list.

This review is based off of a to go order. My sister and a friend went for breakfast and I was the lucky beneficiary of a carry out order. I had the carnivore skillet which I found to be quite delicious and filling. The ham was delicious and the skillet potatoes were well seasoned, my over easy egg was done perfectly to my liking. With the skillet, you have your choice of pancakes or toast. Since it was carry out, I went with the pancakes to reheat and eat later in the day. Pancakes reheated well. Only complaint was that they tasted quite eggy to me. I'd for sure go back and likely choose the toast with my skillet.

Looks pretty large on the outside, but it's rather small and quaint inside. The menu is kinda pedestrian but it has a lot of the usual breakfast staples. There was a long wait on Saturday but that's surely expected on most breakfast / brunch parlors. This concept is increasingly popular for people who just want to start their weekend off "out n about", especially post-COVID. The corned beef hash was crunchy for some reason and the eggs Benedict just weren't cooked right, they were nearly hard boiled in their consistency. Service was good, though, and attentive. Overall very underwhelming. Side note, I'd also vote to remove the "main" picture... as it's kinda meh and insofar as avocado toast, that's fairly underwhelming as a representation.

Best breakfast in town. Staff is very friendly and fast! Atmosphere is perfect (not too loud and can actually hear your guests). If you don't choose this place you're missing out.

Great service, 2 of 6 orders were cold. 1of 6 was a burger, not sure what happened- but it was cold, dry, and didn't get eaten. I've had others tell me great things about le Crème, but our group definitely missed. So many good options in that area, probably won't be back.
