The best place from where you can enjoy a beer away from the crowds. Fresh tasty food offerings along with impeccable views of the red Tori gate in the sea. The curry was especially good. Excellent friendly service.

Super delicious food and kind staff. It was nice to be away from the Miyajima crowds and take a seat at this tranquil cafe. There’s even an outside terrace to enjoy the view of the tori gate. There food was excellent - we shared the dan dan noodles and chicken curry. Both were very nice. I would definitely eat here again. The local beer was also very good.

Lovely little cafe and restaurant, facing the sea, with views of the shrine to the left. Friendly owners. Simple menu. Great chicken tomato curry. The chai latte was tasty, but very sweet. Great eclectic furniture.

We came here to escape the crowds, and were suprised by the charming view and the excellent food. The curry was a bit spicy but extremely delicious, and the noodles were amazing. The apple juice comes in cute little pots, and is very tasty, refreshing and ice-cold. We hughly reccomend this restaurant.

Beautiful location with big windows overlooking the floating Itsukushima shrine + usually the giant red Tori gate (but until end of 2020 that is under scaffolding). Had a nice pot of Jasmine tea + delicious vegan risotto while relaxing in comfortable chairs taking a moment out of my day to unwind. Cozy in cooler months + opened up in warmer months to include seating on the deck. Rooms for rent upstairs but don't hear any moving around, very quiet space.

Adorable coffee shop with a limited food menu. Very friendly staff in a coffee shop with a great view and location. We had the Dan Dan noodles and chicken curry and the lemon beer. Everything was fantastic and it’s a nice place to rest Anjou their view and attentive staff.

Nice view. We had the vegan risotto. It was supposed to have spinach but had very little of it inside. Average taste. I asked whether I could have a bigger portion also at an extra cost (omori) and they said it was not possible. Finally, while the Japanese people in the table near us were provided with chopsticks, we (foreigners) were only provided with forks, and chopsticks only upon asking. Altogether a good option with a nice view for vegetarian / vegan. However the staff is not that friendly and not apologetic at all.

Yelp
Stopped by for a bite in the afternoon while waiting for the sun to set and I really enjoyed my time here! First of all, they have free wifi so that always one-ups a spot for me, especially when traveling abroad. Second, the cafe latte was awesome, the cheesecake was divine and the service is phenomenal. One thing that really touched me was how the owner let me stay a half hour past closing time without me even realizing it. I was never pushed out, and there were no clues that they had closed. He simply patiently read a book while I finished going through the hundred or so pix on my camera, then wished me a good day as I was leaving. This was the sweetest gesture and something you'll only find in small community like Miyajima Pro tip: Sit by the window for an amazing view!
