This is a very good place to have light breakfast, brunch, or just hanging out with friends. I came for brunch with my friends. I tried the cucumber, pineapple, and tomato salad coupled with the vegan shittake mushroom dumpling. Both of them were really tasty. The salad was french and the dumpling was savory. I also tried the moccachino. I was great. I will come back to try their desserts.

Cousins Café is such a cozy and welcoming spot! The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee. The coffee was really good, and all the food we tried was delicious. The best part is how sweet and charming the place feels overall—it truly adds to the experience. Definitely a café worth visiting in Quebec! ☕🍴

A beautiful assortment of various desserts, freshly made croissants and baguettes, quiche, and delicious coffees. Cafe Les Cousins offers a relaxed and friendly environment. Definitely worth a visit!

Google
Beautiful and calm. We went there to get breakfast and there are so many options for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Many vegetarian options too. The food is delicious, the coffee too and the staff is very nice and helpful. The price is a little high but it’s worth the quality that you get. Highly recommend! Even when busy it’s still really nice and calm.

Google
Excellent pastries and most likely the best quiche I’ve ever had....the crust was light and flaky and the egg filling was super creamy and melt-in-your-mouth texture. Great coffee as well and the perfect way to start the day. If you ask they do have an English menu available, although the staff was very accommodating with our limited French.

Google
We went for coffee and pastry and had a delightful experience. The latte and moccachino were excellent. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because we were spoiled by even fresher pastries earlier in the day.

I love everything about this place, the food is fantastic and affordable, the service is super friendly. If you happen to be in Quebec City you probably should have a brunch here. I really cannot remember the name of each food cos they're in French but most of them are really good (i've attached some pictures so you'll know what it looks like). This place will be packed easily during certain time especially on weekend at 11am.

Google
Really expensive place to eat, but definitely worth the price for some exquisite food. the drinks were over priced. 5$ for a medium hot chocolate is too much

Yelp
Great little coffee shop that serves quiche, cheeses, pastries ( and coffee). We visited after an afternoon of walking through the National Museum

Yelp
Great customer service and a wide variety of coffee and food options. The croissant was incredibly buttery and delicious, and the caramel latte was equally satisfying. The restaurant is clean, with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating available. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a cozy place to enjoy coffee with friends or family, along with some tasty food. I also suggest trying the quiche--it was good, though it would have been even better if it had been served warm.

Yelp
Nice little coffee shop on cartier street. Very warm inside with wood decoration. Coffee and a fresh croissant on the terrace. The service at the counter was fast and friendly. they brought my delicious Iced coffee at my table. Parking not so easy on the street

Yelp
This spot is a pass for me. Every single dish we tried lacked flavour and salt. The broccoli cheddar soup tasted mostly like puréed potatoes, the croissant was decent but wasn't crunchy, and the chicken pot pie was comically flavourless. The oat milk cappuccinos were the best part but even still we had to add in extra ingredients to make it taste better. I wouldn't recommend this café unless you only want a standard coffee or tea.

Yelp
Great spot for cappuccino and chocolate croissant and all kinds of sandwiches on fresh baked bread

Yelp
Cute cafe, lovely bakery and coffee shop. The food is good. Service was good. It seems quite popular. We will be back!

Yelp
Bottom line. NOT WORTH THE EFFORT to get here and I want my tip back!!! Service was horrible. We were there mid-morning, hardly busy. I had to remind them twice about our hot beverages (tea & latte). The pain au chocolate or "chocotine" as Quebecois call them, only had one chocolate stick. Yes, the baked goods case is absolutely beautiful, great marketing I guess. As I said...Bottom line. NOT WORTH THE EFFORT to get here!!!

Yelp
Found this cute little cafe on Yelp and I was surprised at how much food they had in addition to all the pretty little desserts displayed in the fridge. I ordered the Mediterranean tart and a mocchachino that was SOOOO gooood. The tart was a bit bland but the pie/crust was tasty. We had three boys with us who ordered a ham and swiss on a croissant, bacon and cheddar grilled cheese, and a chicken pot pie. My bf also got a pot pie which he said was ok but that's b/c he's not into pot pies. One of the boys who had the pot pie said it was the best chicken pot pie he's ever tasted. After their brunch plates, each ordered a dessert. The layer/crust on the bottom of the desserts was so yummy and crunchy. One had a raspberry cake, another had a lemon tart, and the last person got a chocolate mousse cake. The mocchachino was so good that I wanted to go back the next day and get another one...BUT...we didn't feel like driving back since our hotel wasn't that close to the cafe. Now I wished I did! Guess we'll have to go back to Quebec City for a mocchachino again! Lol

Yelp
We liked everything about this place. I had a delicious parisien sandwich (ham, cheese, mustard on a small baguette) and a cafe au lait, my wife enjoyed quiche with a couple of salads. Service was great, friendly. Nice environment, as the photos show. Lots of VERY nice looking desserts, but I didn't try any.

Yelp
Very good sandwiches and croissants, had the best chocolate and almond croissant, great coffee

Yelp
My family of 5 basically got addicted to this place on our vacation. We are about to go for a third time. The pastries are incredible - we've had many types of croissants, mousses, desserts. It seems there are hundreds. The sandwiches melt in our mouths. The salads fresh, the quiche is good. The bisque tasty. The staff is wonderful. The only bad thing is finding a seat. There is also an artisanal market. Here's my son eating a lemon meringue- it changed his mood very quickly that day

Yelp
Omg the absolute BEST baked goods in the city, and perfect cappuccinos. We savored every bite of our choices (chocolate croissant, chocolate almond croissant, chocolate maple croissant) - they were all perfection!!! My shorts are tighter going home, and it was all worth it . Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
For Our last morning in QC we wanted to enjoy a delicious leisurely breakfast at a really great cafe. We walked a bit further than expected to find the cafe but it was worth it. The cases are overflowing with sweet and savory foods that will overwhelm you immediately (but in a good way). Handsome date ordered a ham and cheese croissant just like the Tour de France dudes eat to keep up race weight. The sandwich was served warmed with the cheese slightly melty. The croissant was light with buttery flavor. This fresh sandwich was "perfect. The only way I like ham." His cappuccino had too much foamed milk for him s I quickly helped out and spooned it into my cafe au lait. Coffees we're both rich and roasty. I enjoyed an almond and chocolate pastry that seemed a cross between a croissant and crepe type of invention. I'm someone more savvy than I would know the name of this magic bakery item. We sat outside and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Definitely worth the walk away from the crowds to find this place!

Yelp
Great selection of sandwiches, pates, pastries. Quick stop in for lunch as we set to say goodbye to Quebec City. We enjoyed very much. I had beet, apple walnut salad and a pate du saumon. All very good. My wife had a great salad also. A croissant and chef biscuits to go for the ride home.

Yelp
Beautiful cafe on a busy street. The inside is decorated with intriguing colorful paintings, and there's plenty of seating. The selection of food ranges from breads, pastries, pies, to sandwiches salads and other cold foods. My mother and I shared a croissant, apple turnover, and a soft almond tart. The filling in the apple turnover was SO GOOD, kind of like a cross between apple sauce and apple jam. no fruit chunks but delicious. the almond tart was also good, not too sweet, very moist. the croissant I wanted to love but it tasted a bit stale...perhaps because I came mid day? Would love to try it again!

Yelp
Beau café, beaucoup de choix. Bon café Americano. Je reviens demain matin! Belle atmosphère

Yelp
There is no shortage of lovely boulangeries in QC. This place, however, sets the bar a little higher. The baguette with raspberry jam started a spectacular day, while my dining companion (my 14-year-old son) got the brioche au chocolat. Get the gigantic bowls of cafe au lait and chocolat chaud. My son melted the square of chocolate that came along side the drink into his. He also melted the square of chocolate that came alongside my drink into his. If I lived in QC, I would weigh 300 pounds. Easily.

Yelp
Delicious assortment of pastries, tarts, soups, salads and sandwiches. Was great for a quick lunch with the kids before heading to the train. Highly recommend if at the museum for the day!

Yelp
This is the spot! Croissants and pastries galore and good beverages including latte and hot chocolate. Stop in for breakfast or an afternoon pick me up.

Yelp
Fabulous bakery and café. I could have eaten my way through the case. Wide selection of sweet and savory pastry, individual size as well as larger. Such creative and beautiful pastry. My latte was delicious. Hunny got the pastry with raisins and it was 5-Star delicious. What I appreciate about French pastry it is simplicity and not too much sugar. It is sweet enough to let the pastry shine! Just go! And hit the other shops on

Yelp
Excellent bakery café. Affordable and delicious sandwiches, savory pies and quiches, salads, and bakery goods including French breads and pastries. Yum!

Yelp
Don't judge a book by its cover. This was a quaint traditional french pastry shop with so much more character inside. Great wait staff that spoke English very well. Great coffees and pastries. We will be sure to be back.

Yelp
Wife and I and three kids had a beautiful lunch here. Tuna with salad roll, ham and cheese roll, ham and cheese croissant, potato salad and ham and salad roll..!!! Plus a couple cappuccinos. Lovely, fresh and tasty. Total $64 Recommended.!

Yelp
Mediocre bakery. Both the pain au chocolate and cancelled were average. The croissant dough wasn't flaky as it should be. The cannele did not have a crispy exterior. Service was friendly but haphazard.

Yelp
Awesome! This is NOT Starbucks. Coffees are excellent with a tremendous flavor. Quiche was the smoothest I've ever experienced. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Lots of choices here for baked goods, wonderful staff. Freshly prepared takeouts for lunch also available. Vegetarian Patè!
