Had the pleasure of finally dining at this Palm Beach Island treasure. My NY Strip was cooked to perfection. Had it paired with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. Delish! I sat at the beautiful bar and faced the door so I could people watch...as Palm Beach is famous for its colorful people and clothes! Heather the bartender took AMAZING care of me. Thoughtful, attentive and fun! She was a real treat! In fact, I'll go back just to have her serve me again! Met 2 of the chefs...what a delight! The hostess was beautiful and attentive...sorry I didn't catch her name. All in all, it was a great experience for this first timer. Go check it out...and if you sit at the bar...ask for Heather.

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a luxurious yet warm atmosphere that made us feel like we had been transported to Europe. The elegant décor, impeccable service, and exquisite cuisine created an unforgettable dining experience. The food was simply outstanding—every dish was prepared to perfection, and the dessert was absolutely divine. Café L’Europe masterfully blends sophistication with a family-like warmth, making it a must-visit spot in Palm Beach. I can’t wait to return!

⭐ Café L’Europe – Palm Beach: Where Fine Dining Meets Fabulous Disappointment 💅🍷😩 Ah yes… Café L’Europe. I came here hoping for “Old World elegance,” but I think I accidentally stepped into a time machine and landed in a dinner theater performance called “Overpriced Chaos: A Culinary Tragedy.” 🎭🍽️💸 Ambiance? If you're into antique wallpaper, dim lighting, and a perfume of mothballs blended with burnt butter — this is your spot! 🕯️👃💀 I felt like I was seated inside a very expensive crypt. With violins playing softly… for the funeral of my appetite. 🎻🪦 Service? Ah, yes. Our waiter arrived sometime between brunch and my next reincarnation. 🐢⏳ He floated by our table every 20 minutes like a confused ghost, muttering specials with the enthusiasm of a tax auditor. When I asked for water, he looked like I requested a diamond-encrusted unicorn. 🦄💦😒 The food? Darling, I’ve had frozen Lean Cuisine with more soul. My “filet mignon” came out so overcooked, it crunched. CRUNCHED. 🥩🔨🧱 The escargot? Tasted like someone dared the chef to see how much garlic and disappointment they could stuff into a shot glass. 🐌🧄😬 The bread basket? A tragic collection of baguette shrapnel and day-old croissant fossils. I nearly chipped a tooth and a few dreams. 🥖💔🦷 Prices? They charged me $27 for a salad that looked like it had just escaped from a gas station sandwich. 🥗💳😵 I expected it to at least hum a French chanson when served. Nope. Just limp lettuce and silent despair. Final thoughts? If you want to feel like you’ve been subtly robbed in an elegant setting, while being served haute couture disappointment — this is your place! 🫶🇫🇷🚨 Would I return? Only if I’m wearing a disguise and severely dehydrated from crying over my bill. 🧥🕶️😭

Top 10 restsurant in Palm Beach by far. The atmosphere is old school Palm Beach. The menu has anything you want and each dish is tremendous & The service is excellent. Only 1 BIG negative for me … there was a guy wearing shorts sitting at the bar .. who had a sports jacket on. What? They allow guys wearing shorts in ? I don’t care if he owns the Breakers .. shorts shouldn’t be allowed. It’s not a pizza joint. We finished with the chocolate soufflé, awesome ! Other than that it’s a must visit when in town for a great Sat night dinner.

WOW!!! Best food, best Chef, best servers and best valets in town still in top 3 Restaurants in the USA for sure. Our reviews had over 36 million views last year. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really love Cafe L'Europe. Food is beyond compare. She had the lobster risotto that has a full lobster over wonderful risotto and caviar. I had the wiener schnitzel which was just divine. Red cabbage was sweet like sugar candy. I had the snails app and she had the cold artichoke. Hers came with a really nice warm sauce layered into the center of the artichoke and I ended up eating half of it because it was so good. We had 3 desserts. Lava cake was hot with melted dark chocolate center and great ice cream. Grand Marnier soufle was light and sweet and really yummy. Flaming crepes were really great too. Lots of great stars in the joint that night and a great piano player who is blind and can barely walk, but boy can he drive a piano. Really classy. Wife had a nice dress to wear but we had errands in advance so she did not have time to put it on. Was going to change on site but they said no need. Most men had on jackets, in fact I think they all did. One of the best places we have eaten at all year. Top notch all the way. Check out all of our reviews. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. We had over 36 million views so far this year and we thank you for that. We don't get paid, we just love to eat. Be sure to click on "RobH" at the top of this review to see all of them and to follow us if you like good food and FUN. If we do a review it is because we love it.

If your looking for high end dining and palm beach island this place is amazing. Our waiter was great with recommendations. We were a big group and they handled everything flawlessly. For our dessert they had chocolates and other desserts arranged around a ice sculpture, was absolutely gorgeous.

Top quality service in an impeccable atmosphere. Dessert was worth the wait and the artichoke appatizer was a delicious start. Finished our evening off with a delicate soufflé and decadent profiteroles. Maitre d' was exceptionally gracious and professional; we greatly appreciated his attitude throughout the evening as he checked in on us. Staff were helpful and approached our experience with a fun attitude that created smiles all around. Will absolutely return soon.

Yelp
Legendary and there's a reason why service is incredible. The ambience is incredible. And last but definitely not least the food is incredible.

Yelp
Such a great experience that I even dined there two nights in a row! Beautiful, upbeat atmosphere with a popular bar area and lively piano music. The staff is exceptional. The artichoke was perfect and the salmon entree was large and delicious (I had it both nights). A press salad was ok. The flaming dessert (crepes I think) was lots of fun. Loved the cocktails too. I look forward to returning.

Yelp
It's hard to write a review for a place that you held in such high esteem for so long, only to come back and it has not only sold to new owners, but lost the warm feeling it once welcomed you with. This is not the same place we have gone to for so many years. The new owners have opened the place up yet kept the feel, however by removing the wall you can no longer hear the piano player that has been there since forever. He is a wonderful man, but it is difficult to watch how he is drowned out by the conversations of so many people. My food was food, not memorable like the food that was the reason we returned time and time again for. My wife's NY Strip was inedible, as you could not cut it with a steak knife it was so tough. Our server was armed with an electronic device to punch our order in, and would not allow us to place an appetizer order without placing our food order. Ambience well, as I said, loud. Thought the maitre d' remembered us from the past, it was clear he was not employed by the same caring on site owners of the past. It is very difficult transitioning an iconic business, especially one in PB. If you have been a customer of the past, I find it difficult to believe you are still going here.

Colleen S.

Yelp
Server was great! Glasses had a terrible smell... creating a problem for drinking wine and water. Fois gras was amazing, all other dishes were average. Glad we had a gift card.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of dining here on my first visit to Palm Beach. Unfortunately it was a very quick business trip and couldn't return the next night which I surely would have. The appetizers extremely well executed. I highly recommend the pan seared veal chop. I am a carnivore at heart and this was outstanding! The creme brûlée was a classic version but done flawlessly. The restaurant is very well planned and thought through. I love the feel and vibe of it. I look forward to returning on my next visit.

Yelp
This place is special; for special occasions or if you're just in the mood to have some serious fine cuisine. Cafe L'Europe had been on my radar for years. Whenever I decided to do a cruise to the Island, I would pass this place and think, "I really would like to dine here one day, just spoil myself to oblivion." When I finally paid a visit on Valentine's Day with my wife for a reservation, we were both not disappointed. The meal was one of the best I have had in South Florida in the 20-plus years I've lived here -- especially in fine dining. Cafe L'Europe has served diners in the Palm Beach area for well over 40 years, specializing in exquisite cuisine that balances American continental and Mediterranean styles. When you walk through the front doors, the atmosphere is a cross between boisterous and elegant. Cafe L'Europe would never be mistaken for an intimate, quiet dining cafe. The atmosphere is certainly lively but elegant between the chandeliers and the piano player, which makes for a jubilant dining experience, without it being wild or raucous. While they do have complimentary valet parking, we managed to find a space on the block right after the location across the adjacent street. The front greeter was very friendly and we were quickly seated at a nice table next to one of the front windows facing South Country Road in downtown Palm Beach. The server was incredibly attentive and ensured we had everything we needed from the moment we sat down and reviewed the regular and Valentine's Day special menu. My wife and I enjoyed glasses of rose and gin gimlets respectively throughout that evening, never straying from that until dessert, of course. The gin gimlets I had using Plymouth Gin that is my normal go-to for that type of liquor -- very dependable. The rose was very good from what my wife let me taste. Being my wife is celiac, I enjoyed the bread to myself. The bread was incredibly warm and tasty, especially when combined with the servings of butter and olive oil mix they had brought. For dinner, I enjoyed the roasted Long Island Duck, which was a symphony of magic, served with blueberry sauce and sides of potato gratin and carrot puree. I was beyond satisfied with what I ordered, but my wife's roasted Maine Lobster Risotto was an entree worth dying to order. I couldn't believe how good the risotto was served with the Lobster Bisque Sauce and caviar. I have had lobster risotto before, but this was another level of supreme greatness -- so rich and savory... and satisfying! For dessert, we enjoyed espresso martinis while my wife had the gluten-free chocolate souffle, while I had the chocolate peanut butter crunch cake. And again, while mine was great, my wife ordered something that was even more magical and glorious, glorious and magical. A symphony of sweet satisfaction for which there can be no other. The dinner was incredible. A good thing, considering I spent a bit between drinks and food. If you just ordered food, it wouldn't be too bad if you are being price-conscious. But make no mistake, this is fine dining and you have to pay for amazing fine dining. But Cafe L'Europe is worth every penny. If you have a special occasion to celebrate or just want to have an amazing meal, you won't be disappointed. You will be joyous and full of joy.

Yelp
We popped in here thinking it was a cafe (think casual coffee and pastry place). But it's a sit down French restaurant and bar. Regardless the host welcomed us and sat us near the bar. We were really only looking for a dessert and coffee after our dinner elsewhere. My spouse and I started off with a couple of cocktails. I got the Palm Beach mule, which was very refreshing. We then got the strawberry pavlova--it was heavenly! It's a merengue topped with ice cream and strawberries drizzled with a raspberry syrup. So good!

Yelp
It's not anything like it was 20 years ago. Great service, nice place, but the food. Not so good anymore.

Victoria A.

Yelp
This establishment has excellent food, and the waiters do a good job. They take all make credit cards. The restaurant can get quite loud sometimes, but the service is outstanding. Parking in Palm Beach isn't easy as the meter maid tries to get people at night. I haven't been there in a few years.

Yelp
Great restaurant ambiance was awesome, food was amazing, and service number 1 , thank you.

Jody L.

Yelp
The ambiance was lovely. Indoor and outdoor seating, plus a bar service area. They had a piano player; the music was soft. Tiny white lights on the perfectly cut shrubbery outside, flowers and candles on tables inside. They had valet parking out front but I found a parking spot on the road easily. The service was wonderful; James was our waiter. The food was excellent, and I was surprised that it wasn't served in tiny portions. I wanted dessert, truly I did... but I was too full. Yes, it's pricey but it was a treat that I don't regret.

Yelp
For 20 years I have enjoyed wonderful experiences with both food and atmosphere. Recently, I made a reservation weeks in advance requesting a special table for my 25th anniversary. Upon arrival I was treated by the hostess with snobbery, not welcoming. I was refused the requested table and informed table request are decided one day before arrival. During my visit the restaurant was mostly empty including the requested table. It appears, seating is based on the perceived importance of the guests. This is Not The Same Place I have gone to for last 20 years!

Yelp
What a disappointment, never in my life have I ever been denied entry to a restaurant.. I came With my mother and partner, we were dressed perfectly fine. The case was my tattoos?!?!? What kind of discrimination do these people have? My mother has been to this place many time before and suggested for us to try the cheesecake, we were so excited after just getting off a 6 Hour Flight. As soon as we walked in an older lady whispered in the older guy hosts ear. And continues to tell us "unfortunately we have a dress code" didn't tell me what it was or anything I had to ask him TWICE before we made some stupid reason up..... He started naming dress codes while looking at use and realizing we were in those dress codes. Last thing that came out of his mouth was tattoos. Was it my tattoos or the fact the we were 3 Asians? Or the fact that my partner and I were gay? Who knows. I was prepared to spend some good money too. Don't waste your time on this place they're just judge and discriminate. I will not waste my time or money on something that isn't worth it.

Yelp
Old line Palm Beach Charm with an attentive staff and quality food. If you seek a more traditional experience, this place will meet your expectations.

Yelp
The food and dining experience at Cafe L'Europe was great. To start off, there are several types of breads, including pretzel rolls. For my appetizer, I had the grilled Caesar salad. My entree consisted of duck and potato gratin. The duck was cooked perfectly. For dessert, we had soufflé and profiteroles. I would recommend dining at this restaurant.

Yelp
Outstanding service from the moment you walk into the front door and are greeted by the maitre'd. it was nothing short of sensational service til the end. The food was marvelous. We started with two orders of superior caviar, followed by soup and main courses. We had the duck, salmon and lobster. Three delicious plates. For dessert, we had vanilla and a chocolate soufflé. Both were hot, crunchy on the corners and mouth watering. Absolutely fabulous!

Yelp
This place is just amazing! Everything! I wasn't sure where I'm going to go for dinner tonight and I'm so glad that I've decided to come here. The ambiance, staff, food...- perfection. I had tuna tartar for a starter and the portion was big but I ate it all 'cause tuna was fresh and buttery For the main, I had sea bass, and again it was just exquisite I couldn't leave without dessert and I ordered chocolate souffle - yummmm, so delicious I had a pleasant experience and I will come back soon again. I would highly recommend this place, you won't disappointed

Yelp
Why I'll go back: The food here is outstanding across the board, and you can enjoy it in the splendor of a redesigned dining room that is as classic as Palm Beach gets. You HAVE to order: Tough one for sure, but I'll say that if you are a soufflé-for-dessert person, this the place to do it, as there are four flavors (at least the evening we ordered one) to choose from and they are delicate and rich all at the same time. Tony's Tip: Even on a warm night, inside is the place to be. Dine al fresco at one of your other myriad options in town. Cafe L'Europe was by far the biggest upside surprise for us on our latest trip to Palm Beach this Winter. An extensive remodeling during 2020 kept the restaurant closed for months, and we missed the reopening by days the last time we were down in early November. But over the course of two weeks this trip, we enjoyed dinner twice and drinks at the bar once, and each time was phenomenal. The bar seating has more than doubled and was made the centerpiece of the restaurant. Great for people watching, and Joy continues to deliver drinks with an authentic warmth and enthusiasm that makes everyone feel like a local. As for dinner, we both thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered at both meals, as did our dining companions. I was so intrigued with the idea of the tomato tartare on the menu that I couldn't pass it up. It is indeed a tartare, and quite a sweet one. I liked it, but with so many other great starter options on the menu, I don't know if I'd order it again ("been there, done that"). If soups are your thing, they are complex and delicious here. As for entrees, the filet mignon au poivre was the best steak I had in two weeks on the island, and the au gratin potato cake was delicately sliced and not at all heavy. Verdict on the branzino - delicate and flavorful with a perfect complement of tomato caponata. One other delicacy to note was the tuna tartare, which was a bit creamier than a traditional tartare and actually reminded me of a deconstructed spicy tuna roll, sans the rice. Pulling all of this amazing experience together is the truly gifted (and blind) piano player David Crohan and Maitre d' Bruce Ramsey, who still meticulously maintains an old school reservation book and tirelessly manages a full house with seeming ease each night. In sum, I can't offer enough praise for the reimagined Cafe L'Europe. Do not miss this experience if you find yourself spending some time on the island.

Yelp
This is a review of 2 different elements in one restaurant: (1) a fine dining establishment that pumps out some really damn good food; and (2) a "see & be seen" place that is entertaining for its people watching. First, the food. I started out with the tomato tartare. This is one of the most unique appetizers I have ever had. I was not sure that it was worth my ordering it but I figured I should since I would never find it on another menu anywhere. It was a fresh salad of sorts consisting of cooked minced tomato bits that was seeded (of course) and shaped into a thick patty. It had a garnish on top of seasoned small green beans. It was good but not great due to the intense sweetness of the dressing that the tomato bits were suspended in. Think sugary dessert more than appetizer. It is NOT that I did not like it; just that the dish overall was simply too sweet. It was not balanced and not savory. Presentation was A+ though. I could not eat the entire thing because of the sweetness. My main course was excellent but un-remarkable. My spouse's food was excellent too. And, guess what, if you want caviar, there are multiple menu entries for you - different applications, different types, different prices (like from $150 - $450). A little pricy but the rest of the menu was more reasonable (not reasonable exactly, just more reasonable). There is nothing bad, really, to say about the quality of the food or the presentation (except for the tomato tartare). Second, the atmosphere. Let's face it, THIS is the best reason to eat at Cafe L'Europe. This is the Palm Beach glitterati crowd at its best. Other than my spouse and I, the host and hostesses knew EVERYONE who came in for dinner. There were handshakes, backslaps, hugs and cheek kisses. No names were given because none were needed. Everyone who came there - except for us - was known! I imagine that these people eat here at least weekly, maybe more. Nobody who was known waited for a table - at all - ever. If the preferred table was not available, then that party was seated at the "waiting" table until their preferred table was ready. We, on the other hand, who had made a reservation almost a month in advance but are nobody's, had to stand and wait till our table was ready (the only people I saw that night who waited). It was a scene - and not one that was particularly awful in hindsight! The clothes around us were brands that I had heard of before but never worn - too expensive for me! None of the men wore socks - just $1200 pairs of elegant shoes. The women, OMG the women, were all over the spectrum from ripped high end jeans to full drop dead evening gowns. Jewelry like you see at the awards shows. Beaded and bejeweled dresses, blouses and bags. There were more face lifts in the dining room than I could count. People there knew most of the other people around them - there was a lot of stopping to say hello, air kiss kiss, talk a little business even monkey business, then on to your preferred table. It was fascinating! None of this turned me off at all. Rather, it was fun to watch this sort of celebrity behavior. The staff was awesome! You ask for something and you get it! Immediately! The staff was friendly, accommodating and professional. The place was busy but, when we needed to talk to someone, it felt like we were the only people in the restaurant. The manager stopped by a number of times to make sure we were happy! All in all, this is a great place to eat when you are on vacation. The food is very good, almost 100% great. But haven't we all been to restaurants where the food is really good??? Here, it is the people watching that will keep me talking about Cafe L'Europe for a long LONG time!!!!

Todd B.

Yelp
Over-priced and not worth it! One of the busier & pricer restaurants in this billionaire heavy playground applied for and received a $650k government grant to redecorate so billionaires & millionaires could dine in new decor on your tax dollars. They also applied for & received $1M for another of their restaurants, Taboo, and did not pay rent for a year then closed it down! #BOYCOTT !

Yelp
After having been there last night I can see why this restaurant get so many five star reviews. The decor and ambience are old world style. The piano player was excellent, as was the maître d' and waiter. Our food was terrific we ordered the softshell crab appetizer, duck and scallops. For dessert we had the apple tart and the chocolate lava cake. Everything was above Just went back to one of the best restaurants in town. They are still a five star restaurant. The maître d' Bruce is so lovely, warm and welcoming to everyone. I highly recommend this restaurant on many levels; the food, the service and the ambience!

Kaitlyn E.

Yelp
We had a wonderful birthday celebration for my mother at Café L'Europe over the weekend. The service was phenomenal and the food was excellent. All of the entrees were cooked to perfection and a glass was rarely empty. The service staff was knowledgeable and had great energy, they were willing to swoop in and help with meal choices and also took the time to understand any allergies at the table. We will be recommending the restaurant to friends and other family members. Also we hope to soon stop back in for another scrumptious dinner. I will add, Jade was fantastic when it came to making the reservation she is a ball of energy and you can tell she loves the restaurant. But when Bruce, the Maitre D', called me the day of the reservation only a few hours prior, asking for my party to come in 15 mins earlier than our reservation time it was a little bit off putting before the reservation even started. Especially due to the fact we arrive and there is no one in the dining room but us. 15 mins isn't drastic of course but we were a larger party coming from different directions and some from over an hour away and others from work so 15 mins can make a difference. His explanation was "they oversold reservations for the evening", I explained I would have to contact the other people in my reservation as we were a party of 7 and instead of allowing me to call him back after he hung up I received an email he changed the reservation time. He was even stuffy in person, I thought it was just me but others in the party brought it to the table's attention, his mannerisms when I walked in were quite judgmental but once seated and we started our dining experience those 2 very small moments melted away and the food and the service spoke for itself.

Yelp
I was denied a seat because I did not want to take off my hat by an older gentleman with white hair. I was Extremely disappointed because a close friend of mine recommended this place. I asked if outside was available (there is 6 tables and 5 available) and he stated they are currently full. It seems like they are looking for only a certain type of people at this location. .

Russell R.

Yelp
Dinner was what exactly what I was expecting given the reviews online. The restaurant was upscale and people were dressed accordingly. Men were mainly in jackets, but some were in t shirts, shorts and much more casual than I expected. Will leave my jacket at home next time. We were seated immediately with a reservation and I will say that the noise level is quite loud. If you're looking for quiet conversation then skip this place. The food was very good all around. The Caesar salad was a bit lackluster for the price but the escargot and tuna appetizers were spot on. Main courses of filet and duck were also very good. While I've had better, I haven't had any better in Palm Beach. The chocolate soufflé for dessert was okay but for the price I would skip it as it wasn't amazing. Overall, I'm glad that I finally tried this restaurant and we will certainly be back.

Yelp
We were celebrating and we were given a beautifully located table as requested. We were treated so well and the staff could not have been more nice to us. The locale, restaurant decor and ambiance as well as terrific food made for a special evening The table had some fab bread which we needed to start...more like wanted it! The appetizer of foigra (sp) was rich as it should be and the accompanying compote made it perfect. The lobster with citrus was a refreshing surprise. I am not s huge fan of lobster but I must say it was delightful. Dinner was the fabulous sea bass on a bed of kale. Cooked flaky and moist, it was perfect for me. The liver was intense...but the bacon on it helped. It was cooked nicely and the mash and onions were the perfect accompaniment What a great evening. Thank you!

Yelp
This was our first time here, we had a reservation and we're seated promptly. Bruce the maitre d was cordial and welcoming. They have a fairly large wine list and we chose a Cali Cab. The service is attentive, nice choice of breads. I had the PreFix which is offered on Mondays The frois gras was more than ample and tasty. I had 1/2 duck with bing cherry sauce. I thought the duck albeit prepared perfectly lacked flavor perhaps they are frozen previously, the cranberry bread dumpling was tasteless and hard, the red cabbage was really nice. The desert was a frozen lemon souffle also interesting and tasty. My wife had the crab tower appetizer which she enjoyed, I thought the crab lacked flavor. Her entree was the scallops although tasty was uninspired. The side of mushrooms we're good

Yelp
In town for Cavallino, ended up driving around looking for a late night dinner on a Thursday. This place was bopping inside and out! We pulled up to the outside the entrance, and the valet was kind enough to run in and check if we can get a table inside. No problem! Love it when things work out. A lovely hostess sat us and of course the service staff was attentive as expected in an establishment of this caliber. A slight improvement suggestion would be that our waiter was fast and not very personable. Since there was a team helping the server, we felt like we received plenty of attention. We started with the tuna tartar @$24 and it was served with crunchy greens- superb . I was feeling like being bad so I went for the lobster ravioli @ $44. The raviolis are made in house and the cream sauce was the perfect way to indulge whether my arteries liked it or not. It was totally worth it. My colleague had the chicken Milanese @ $38, also equally indulgent as it is fried, but tender and seasoned just right. Topped the meal off with sorbet....many colorful flavors to choose here. I enjoyed watching the guests in their Palm Beach chic attire. Quite the older scene, but still a scene. We received a warm goodbye from Bruce....he seems to be well noted in this county!

Yelp
Fangalicious was welcomed here! We sat on the "patio" aka the sidewalk close to the street. Still it is a very nice establishment and if you are in the mood to dress up and be seen by the PB crowd this is the place to do it!!! Fun, great service, and a tasty menu with an interesting wine list!

Yelp
My boyfriend got bad food poisoning dining there which is very unusual for him( he had Chicken Milanese that comes with arugula salad and fries) I had short rib bolognese which tasted fine but was very oily so I couldn't even finish it. Appetizers were great! 5 hours later my boyfriend was deeply sick with nausea, vomiting, fever and frequent trips to the bathroom. My frustration reached a boiling point when we had to cancel our flight home because he was unable to leave the bed for 48 hours after. The lack of empathy that was shown was ridiculous. We tried to call the manager (Sergio Cuadros) over the past two days with no call back from him. Finally he called back two days later when my boyfriend was almost recovered. He showed no genuine sympathy, no apology, and basically told us he could not do nothing to resolve the situation. I'm never looking for a free meal but for my boyfriend to lay by the toilet sick. Miss our flight NY that we had to pay extra to have moved back. Missing two days of work on top of all that and not even try to make a positive resolution out of the situation is a absolute joke!!! Anyone else who gets food poisoning from this place immediately go to the emergency room and have it document maybe something will be done then.

Yelp
I don't give 5 *'s willingly but café L'Europe hits it on all points, food, service and ambience. They have a 3 course summer special for $49.50 served Wednesday thru Saturday which are the only times they are open. For starters, a I had the Crispy tempura softshell crab with vegetables, red & yellow peppers, Napa cabbage, and plantains. Excellent. My wife ordered the Burrata and heirloom tomatoes, served radish and a balsamic reduction, also great. For mains, I ordered the Red wine braised veal osso bucco that had a butternut squash ravioli on top over cauliflower, it melted in your mouth. One of the best I have had anywhere in the world. My wife ordered the Pan seared Branzino that came with an orzo/farro mix, sautéed spinach, grape tomatoes, capers, Kalamata olives, and a lemon butter pesto sauce. Superb. For dessert, I had a magnificent Chocolate molten lava cake and my wife had the apple tart . Great finish to an amazing evening. They have a great wine list with some very reasonably priced wine. Bruce Strickland, the manager is continuously floating from table to table to make sure everything is just right. If you are in Palm Beach, you must try Café L'Europe.

Yelp
Out of 5 stars Cafe L'Europe gets a minimum of Six From the moment the valet takes the car, warm cordial greeting, well dressed and well groomed, extraordinarily polite to meeting Bruce, the Superstar Matri D. Elegantly appointed, quite romantic the dining room is spectacular. My Bride always tells me I order to fast, we had a cocktail, and James our fantastic server, said several times take as much time as you need, there's no rush. We decided to split a Tuna Tartar, my Bride went with highly recommended Lobster Risotto, I chose the Yellow Tail Snapper over a bed of Bok Choi, we are not dessert eaters but decided to splurge on the Grand Marniere Soufflé. I thought I was clear to James that we were going to split the Tartar. Two servings came to our table and it appeared to be 2 over sized servings. We called James over who repeated that is a split serving. Highest quality Tuna, and I can't remember saying an appetizer was too big; it could easily have fed 3. Risotto was out of this world with ample chunks of lobster. The snapper was done to perfection and I would have guessed was swimming earlier in the day. May have been my best dining experience.

Yelp
I consider myself the self proclaimed cafe l'europe cheerleader. I really love this restaurant. I've eaten here so many times and every time I'm in awe of how perfect this restaurant is! beluga caviar, coque au vin, calfs liver, long Island half duckling, and foie gras were my favorites so far. And their blue cheese dressing is TO DIE FOR. My goodness does this kitchen know what they're doing or what! The reductions are flawless, best of the best ingredients, perfect execution, perfect menu

Yelp
Wow... yes... that's place was totally hit! Classy, elegant, highly sophisticated and crowd of the most wealthy people in the USA! First, Bruce, the manager, was amazing! He remembered us from the previous year, and complimented me on every my step- it was sweet of him. He helped us to find a table even we don't have reservation and place was packed. Second, even if you are not hungry just come and hang out at the bar! The bar was full of interesting and fascinating characters with who we chatted. Third, there was a live piano player who was blind. However, the music that he played was magnificent! Lastly, food was heavenly delicious! Separate compliments for the kitchen! That's second place after the Breakers hotel where I like to come back when I'm in Palm Beach. 100% to check out!

Yelp
My husband and I came here last night to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. The staff at Cafe L'Europe provided a truly special experience for the two of us from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. I was even surprised by a beautiful (and decadent) dessert thanks to my husband and our wonderful Maître d'. Also, the pianist was wonderful! It gives off that Waldorf dining feel in a relaxed yet elegant setting in Palm Beach. We will be back soon! Thank you again for the magical evening

Yelp
As stuffy as a palm beach destination can be. They'll use any holiday, including a Sunday night Halloween, as an excuse to limit the restaurant to their "old and rich" clientele and charge a cover charge way out of proportion to the extras provided. Their attitude as you can imagine is very condescending. The valet parkers were the kindest people around. Bring your portable oxygen with you if you dare! P.S. I have my own company and we monitor our reviews. Let me tell you, the number of, and the extremely positive 5-star reviews highly suggest that they are paid reviews. Very few people take the time to right such fantastically glowing reviews with statements such as: "the beat ever!!"

Yelp
exceptional food, service and ambience! Great waiters and bartenders! all of the bartenders are well loved especially Momo the bartender! He's the best bartender in town!

Yelp
Cafe L'Europe is one of our favorite restaurants. It's been our first choice for special occasions for many years. Or just any occasion! Valet is complimentary and perfect. The atmosphere is airy and bright, especially with last year's renovation. At the door (you will LOVE the Maitre d') you will receive the welcome of a family member. Of course, the food is always excellent and prepared exactly to order. Being a regular hangout for Palm Beach locals, an added benefit is people watching. It's busy, so plan in advance and reserve a table near the piano. Oh yes, you'll love the piano player too! Worth Avenue is adjacent for an after dinner stroll. A great destination and a must-have experience if you are visiting Palm Beach.

Yelp
Extraordinary romantic dining experience on Palm Beach! My girlfriend and I were seated in the dining area to the right of the entrance. Quiet, away from the "see and be seen" bar and front dining room. Banquettes are cozy for 2 while allowing a view of the elegant decor. Service was impeccably professional, attentive and unobtrusive. The Flavor Palm Beach menu was every bit as appealing as the regular offerings, no skimping on portion size, quality or creativity. I haven't been here in several years-- have been a patron since it opened on Worth Avenue in the Esplanade. It still has all of the magic!

Yelp
THE BEST!!! Not cheap but elegant and the food is outstanding. Great night out with dynamic vibe. If you want elegant and don't mind spending for it, this is the place! Wonderful for special nights out.

Yelp
Bad lobster, bad steak frites, cork in my Sancerre, bad fries. was looking forward to my meal here but my friends and I were overcharged for a very sad meal. work return. Nice staff!

Yelp
First, let me start by saying that Cafe L'Europe was one of my favorite restaurants in Palm beach. Unfortunately, my experience a few weeks ago was so unpleasant that I won't be going back. The service was lackluster, and the food was terrible. Even the Bread, which was one of my favorites items (pretzels bread), was replaced. Also, the lack of covid safety precautions is evident everywhere in the restaurant. From tables that are way too close together to a crowded bar, it's not a place I would recommend if you are concerned about Covid or good food.

Yelp
This was my family's favorite restaurant for years. We always went here for birthdays, anniversaries and even our family holiday dinner. We just went this past weekend for the first time since they reopened and the experience was very disappointing. The service was terrible and the food was just ok (definitely not worth the price). Also, they got one of our dinner orders wrong and got the dessert order wrong. We even tried to order another bottle of wine but couldn't because we had no service. Unfortunately we will not be going there again which is such a shame.

Yelp
Over priced, it is not worth the money. The food is just okay, not what would be expected. I had the short rib, which was lacking seasonings. The piano player is great but to loud.
