Behind the Scenes of Prague's Growing Natural Wine Scene - AFAR

"Launched in 2008 as a breakfast café, Café Lounge has since morphed into an art deco–designed restaurant. It offers contemporary takes on classic Czech plates, crafted by chef Michal Černý. The wine list features 70 small-production, natural wines, mostly from central and southern Europe, with about half produced in the Czech Republic." - Kat Odell

The second we came in the waitress notice us and welcome us. We sat at the bar because we didn’t order a spot before (recommend). We started with coffee. It was amazing, the smell and the serving was fabulous. Then we order 3 breakfast meal because the meals are small, but not expensive. The food was amazing. The menu is not large but very special. The service was also great and nice. VERY RECOMMEND!!

Loved this place! Had breakfast and dinner here whilst in Prague. Staff very friendly. Best coffee we had in Prague and interesting food and all was delicious. I had wild garlic, pistachios and radish on bread/toast for breakfast! It was great! Presentation and service was superb!

My favorite breakfast place in Prague. Very cozy, though gets crowded around the noon. Food is very delicious and coffee is great. And they serve a sudoku with coffee :) Would visit again next time I'm in Prague!

We visited on a Sunday morning and can get a table immediately, arrived at 9am. Staffs were friendly. Food was tasty and price was good. Did not give 5 stars because I found some food was surprising simple. I was actually expecting more with all these good reviews and that price.

The best breakfast I had in a long time if not ever. My girlfriend ordered the spätzle with cauliflower and poached eggs, and I ordered the pumpkin pancake with roasted pumpkin seeds and Carmel drizzled all over. Please try this place if you’re food lover or else you’re doing a disservice to yourself.

Such a cozy, classy and romantic restaurant. The food is scrumptious, and served on time. Staff is professional and helpful: it was the seven of us and they made sure we got a table without having to separate. The menu is in English, making the place "tourist friendly".

I visited for breakfast, I had eggs Benedict and it was one of the best I have ever tried. Highly recommended. The place opens very early so it's ideal for early risers who are looking for a high quality breakfast. Also their coffee is really good and they offer multiple options of lactose free milk.

When I lived in Prague, Café Lounge was consistently the one place I would bring visitors to for breakfast. Upon my first week living there, a barista wrote me a list of several coffee shops I should try in Prague. By my last week there, I reported to him that I had tried each one on the list. Their beans are from Barn Coffee Roasters in Berlin-exquisite. The food, superb. The decor, lovely. The staff, wonderful. Their flat white, unbeatable.
