Service is great. Staff are very kind and patient. Food is great and priced reasonably. The space is limited.

Fantastic pizza! It'll be on my list every time I'm in Cardiff. Fabulous staff, gorgeous made to order pizzas, full of flavour and very good value. They treated me and my two sons like VIPs and we were just ordinary customers. Best Capricciosa pizza ever.

I've eaten all around the world, & this is TRULY the best restaurant I've ever been to. If the unbelievably tasting food isn't enough, the classical musical, friendly wonderfully talented staff, perfect atmosphere & extremely large portions for an EXTREMELY good price surely should be!!!! 10/10 every time (& I've probably been around 1000 times). Cardiffs best secret! Get the James Bowman! 🍝

Honestly one of the best hidden treasures in Cardiff. Beautiful Italian food, super nice staff and extremely well priced. In a lovley area of Cardiff. How could I have not known about this place before now. What's not to like me and my partner will definitely be here again! 😊

Came here as other restaurants/pubs were packed. Hadn't even spotted it before as it's tucked away in the castle arcade, but it's such a lovely place with great food, and the staff are really friendly. Loved the musical decorarions. Will definitely be returning.

Food: Tasty food, nice and hot. Reminded me of a home cooked style - big portion, creamy pasta. Garlic bread with cheese could have had a bit more garlic but that's just my opinion. Restaurant/Staff: Friendly staff, cosy restaurant. Nothing too fancy but it didn't need to be to be an enjoyable place to eat.

Great little place. Have been coming here for many years. Inexpensive interesting and very tasty food. I like the Salieri. A fancy toasted sandwich with a layer of spinach, garlic mushrooms and some chips on side with decent side salad. So nice to support something that is local and not pretentious. This is real cardiff, nice little arcade next to castle, not john Lewis and gourmet burger etc.

Yelp
You're not going to leave Cafe Minuet without having had a generous serving of good old fashioned Italian food. The meals are cooked in front of you in a tiny kitchen, and the aromas from it are to die for. The Italian menu covers lots of ground and without too great a dent in your wallet. Making this a great stop as it's mere minutes from the shops of Queen Street. For those in a hurry there is also a takeout menu which includes the delicious pizzas. This charming little cafe is certainly no frills on the decor front, but it's in the beautiful surroundings of Castle Arcade which is a gem in itself.

Yelp
MARCELLO'S as it's better known is possibly the best Italien in Cardiff, if not the UK. With an inexpensive menu, the most expensive item being about £10, and the average cost of a meal for two with Main, Desert and a Drink being under £25 what more can you ask for. Oh it's quite relaxed atmosphere, and gentle music wafting through the cafe, along with the smell of Marcello's fantatic pizza's (with what can only be described as 'magic garlic') who happens to be at least 80. This restraunt does however lack a alcohol licesene and only opens til early evening, but for a day time treat a near perfect selection, that i'll visit time after time. The decor suggests that Marcello is an opera fan, as there are letters from famous composers all around the walls complementing his food and service. Nearly every dish will make you sound like Homer Simpson eating a Steak, but I would recomend any of the Pasta Chilli dishes, with a side order of fresh garlic bread, and other recomendations would be Chicken Mephisto, and the Pizza's.
