Cafe Miranda

I ADORE this funky, small, casual place that's very popular with the locals. Creative menu with lots of variety. HUGE portions. Very tasty food. Friendly service. Reservations needed for evening and expect a wait at lunch, but you might get lucky like we did. We enjoyed the Pozole and the Hot Mess, a brisket delight. The side salad was large, fresh, and flavorful. Highly recommend and check out both themed bathrooms while you're there.

Very popular restaurant for dinner but we went for lunch and there was no problem getting a table and the service was attentive. Had the pork sandwich at it was very good. Homemade bread and the mustard sauce was very tasty and a bit spicy which was to my liking. The hot mess sandwich which is brisket was lacking flavor and bland would steer clear of that one. Very large menu but they were out of a couple items like crab. Not sure if I would go back.

Everything we ordered was excellent: spicy prawns with rice, crispy fried beef, scallops with chorizo and a wonderful pepperoni pizza. Cocktails were also excellent, with fantastic service. A great atmosphere with live music too.

We go to Cafe Miranda whenever we're in Rockland. The servers are fantastic. The atmosphere cheeky and comfortable. The eclectic menu with fun dish names will certainly fulfill even the pickiest of eaters. Delicious lobster macaroni & cheese. Homemade focaccia bread given with every order, and it's very tasty. They offer fresh salads, an array of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, soups, and entrees- as well as daily specials.

Excellent drinks and amazing food. My wife and I shared the Chicken Jerry and it was so different, but so good. The girls loved their drinks and sitting outside was very nice. The only downside was the flimsy plastic utensils.

Had a great evening at Cafe Miranda. It was, of course, an outdoor event, but the festive lights and fire pits created a fun environment. The staff worked hard to serve customers and it was a relief to be able to socialize (with masks and social distancing). They had a few hot toddies on the drink menu, which fit the bill. My husband and I ordered hot soups - black bean and white bean, both excellent! Our friends ordered pizzas. We'll definitely go again.

As always, food was AMAZING. We met the owner and he signed a cookbook for us. Great selection, very friendly staff, very creative! Went back June 2022, still wonderful!! Had dessert and coffee.

Have been coming to Cafe Miranda for a few years now whenever I am visiting my boyfriend in Maine. This has become our favorite restaurant in the area hands down. Definitely make reservations if you are coming for dinner. We have never been for lunch but I imagine it's less crowded. They have a huge menu and we have never been disappointed with all the different things we have tried. Our absolute favorite meal is chicken jerry - try it, you won't be disappointed! (The jerry fries and jerry pizza are excellent as well!) A few of our other favorites are the gnocchi and perogies. The only thing we have been slightly disappointed was the 50mph tomatoes as it was such a tiny portion for the price (4 small slices of tomato for $12). Besides from that the portions are very generous, Cafe Miranda is definitely worth the visit!!
