What a great family friendly cafe. Good range of cakes with gf options too. We had the orange pistachio brownie and it was the bomb! Nice and gooey inside after it was warmed up. The play area is the biggest cafe playground area we ever been too. With 2 slides, a big sand pit, chubby house and a huge black board wall, it's a great place to watch your kids play while we enjoyed coffee.

I love how this place serves your pies warm with a side of salad. The accompanying tomato chutney was pretty amazing too. The best thing about this place is probably their chai latte... Awesome and perfectly balanced, although a bit on the sweeter side. Cozy place to drop by and seek shelter from the cold outside... Although the meals are slightly on the pricier side.

Can’t believe I hadn’t been here! And I will definitely be back! Great coffee. Really friendly staff and a heap of seating options. Either inside or outside. Heaps of parking, and of course the beach is right there! Great spot! Had the breakfast burger and a coffee! Loved it. Will be back.

Nice food, but fees fees fees. Just add the Weekend and Card surcharge (of which I cannot name another cafe that does that) into the price and get it over and done with! Also on a weekend be prepared to wait.

Good coffee and food. Beware, if you arrive past 8.30am in the morning, the queue will be out the door. They should really work on improving their order taking process.

Yelp
I love the old house/relaxed vibe that is cafe Moby. The breakfast menu is fairly extensive and a bit out of the box for Torquay. The fresh juices are divine on a hot day. The only thing holding this place back is their absence of table service and the long queue you have to wait in to place an order. It makes your visit very anti social as you need to leave people to mind the table but others need to queue. It means second rounds of drinks/desert etc are usually abandoned! Moby- You've been a leader in Torquay with your menu options, buck the trend and offer table service! We usually visit in a fairly sizable group and we can usually get a table without a wait even in the mist of summer (Torquay's peak time) due to the large amount of tables inside and out.

Yelp
Cafe Moby was our lunch stop as we began our drive on the Great Ocean Road. The food was pretty good but it is a little expensive. The line can be long over lunch time (especially during summer). Therefore, be sure to come early if you want a seat at the cafe :)

Yelp
Portions are huge; so be mindful if you;'re on a kilojoule monitoring diet.

Yelp
Moby's is around the corner from Torquay's main street. It is a popular place for meeting with locals because the food is good and the renovated-house setting is relaxed and chilled-out. I had the cajun chicken focaccia, very tasty.

Yelp
This meal was an amazing way to start our drive on the great ocean road. We were looking for a place in Torquay to enjoy some breakfast with a view of the water. We saw a shoddy place on a corner, and decided to pass it by. Lucky for us, we stumbled upon Moby a few doors down. It feels like a house kitchen. Being from the US and early in our trip in Australia, we were a little confused with how you order, but once we figured it out, it was awesome! I had poached eggs over bacon and avocado on toast. AMAZING! Might be my favorite breakfast ever. Super good. Wifey had eggs benedict. The hollandaise sauce was unreal. Really Really good. Anyone looking for breakfast in the area should be going here.
