Yelp
Very good service and well-priced food with a good choice of beer.
There food choice and size of the place makes Mojo a good place for groups. The menu offers burgers, ribs, fish, and daily stampot. They also had ceviche and steak tartare on the menu.
After a though choice between the Mojo burger and steak tartare, I ordered the steak tartare as a main course. It came with fries and mayo, you can replace the fries with oven potatoes. The small version of the steak is without fries.
The steak tartare was not made according to Chef Robuchon's recipe, but was nonetheless quite good. It was finely minced and seasoned well with what I would call a sauce. Unfortunately, it was not served with a raw egg on top. It was plated in a very pretty way, with some salad and mini tomatoes on top. The place also had a little swoosh of dragon mayonnaise, which I found tasted good and paired well with the steak. There could have been a bit more of it :)
The service was very good, attentive and pleasant. There is quite a bit of beer to chose from, but one can opt for some G&T's as well.
My final note is a personal one. The place is a bit too far if you have to come from the centre or western neighbourhoods of the city. Yes, I guess that might sound a tad spoiled, but I am putting it out there.
I can see how this would be a great local spot, though. Also, they have a terrace next to the water, which I imagine is absolutely lovely in the summer.
