What a view ! great experience and welcoming host! Pooches were adorable - until next time!

Even if the food was bad the view alone would make this worth a visit. However, the food was amazing and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We had different burgers and I inhaled mine it was so good. Enjoyed a local drink called Canelazo which was also great. Did I mention the view? Amazing and so much fun to see the city light up as the sun went down. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Not only was the food and presentation delicious, but the view is amazing as well. What sold me though, was their desire to help stray cats & dogs. They help adopt strays via donations and you can bring your dog! The vibes were incredible. Menu available in English for tourists. You can “adopt a friend” for only $10, you get a stuffed pet to color and decorate with a card that tells you about an adoption story. My heart left happy.

Come to this restaurant for the view, not the food. The view is amazing overlooking the historical center of Quito. The service was actually very good until it got busy and it started to lag a bit. However overall the service was good. The food.... They need to learn how to cook. We started with the nachos chili con carne, they were actually not too bad, it was downhill from there. We ordered the grilled garlic prawns (wildly overcooked) that came with onion rings that were pretty much burnt, with a side of carrots and celery, and a dish of barbecue sauce??? We also ordered the grilled tomatoes stuffed with mushrooms, cauliflower and topped with cheese. The tomatoes were not grilled at all, so when they put the sauteed mushrooms in cauliflower inside it didn't really melt the cheese on top. Come here for the view, maybe some drinks and good service, but definitely not the food.

Place is 3.5 - 4 stars. I am a multi restaurant owner from New York City. I am critical about simple things that they can correct easily. I will start with the good. We were very excited to go there. On a Thursday night got there around 7.30 Pm. We went there because of the band. Most of the restaurants on that block has a great view. Waiter said band start at 8.30pm. But actually they start around 9 pm. Band is 5 stars. Food is expensive. I would have dinner somewhere else and go there around 9pm for drinks. Things I am not crazy about. Kitchen staff is hanging around with their dirty aprons in the dining area and chatting away. Not sure how & what to say about the dog situation in the restaurant. THEY ARE A DOG FRIENDLY RESTAURANT. I love dogs. I have one. Sitting on the front seat by the band is the cutest thing. But begging from diners I am not a fan of. Some people we were feeding from their plates. One dog had the paws on the lap of a diner. They obviously didn't mind it. There were only 3 - 4 tables were full. Place was pretty empty. View and the band like that this place should be packed. They are doing something wrong. I am trying to put a finger on it. Next time I am in town I will go there to listen to the band.

Great view of the city and the food here is great. They have a great selection of empanadas and the services. Excellent as well. There are a number of beautiful dogs in this place as well and they are all very friendly. I definitely recommend visiting

Great view of the city from the balcony. The food is generally good with the traditional Ecuadorian lamb dish being the most flavourful. The sharing platters are very generous with onion rings, carrots, grilled meat, dipping sauces, etc. The staff are very friendly and service was quick. There was a bar downstairs with live music on Friday night.
