Very busy little coffee shop but with plenty of seating available. The menu is mostly coffee and 3 or so breakfast or lunch items and some cakes available from the front area. The service was not very friendly or welcoming but was fast and efficient. We had Apfelstrudel wich was sadly not my taste. They have clean toilets on the first floor.

i tried the peppermint-ginger ice tea, that came in a jug, a separate glass with ice and a separate syrup sweetener, which i really enjoyed because you can regulate the sweetness of the drink depending on your preference. i also ordered the vanilla, coffee and a sesame macarons, and that was the thing i enjoyed the most (after that i ordered the other flavors as a takeaway :)) another thing that impressed me, was the interior of the women’s toilet, vintage and cutesy. overall i definitely recommend visiting this café if you are in Innsbruck, a perfect place for a breakfast or a sweet treat.

The oldest coffee place in Innsbruck and a must visit! The cakes are simply delightful. AND: everything is 100 % vegetarian (no gelatin)... and a lot of glutenfree options. Friendly staff and nice old-fashioned interior! A perfect place for breakfast or an afternoon coffee, just wow.

Can’t recommend this place enough! Oldest cafe in Innsbruck. Love their pastries and coffee. They are a family business that owns a lounging and a cafe in city center. Awesome service and must try the lemon cake

Google
Good selection of cakes and delicious pastry. Nice and old inside decor. What I didn’t like is the price and that they do not accept credit cards, as well stated at the entrance. Come on guys, we are on 2023!!

One of the best hot chocolade, I ever drink. Great history of the cafe with a lot of varienties of cakes, candies and chocolade. The have one of the oldest coffee machine in Europe

Google
Oldest cafe in Innsbruck and it’s decor is definitely very classic. The cakes are pretty and nice, but the soup is just average. Service is good and the place is often crowded. Worth a visit for coffee as it has a very impressive menu. We also liked their hot chocolate.

Great cafe, they claim to be the oldest in town, since 1809. We had a great hazelnut cake, and the apple strudel was fantastic as well. It's in a nice little square a bit outside of the busy Main Street. Lots of seating indoors or outside. Order your food at the counter inside and it will come to your table, with a waitress taking your drink order. Or just sit yourself down and enjoy the full service.

Yelp
This is a nice little cafe off the main drag of Innsbruck, and undoubtedly gets a lot of tourist traffic. Pastries and coffee are quite lovely, and the selection behind the counter is very visually appealing to look at, and tastes great, too. Minus three stars for the awfully rude service. The servers practically bark at you if you so much as ask a question, or "get the process wrong." We didn't first know how to order here and every time we tried to watch or find out, there was some sort of curt bark from the server - who was just flat out rude. While we enjoyed the pastries and the coffee, and also appreciated the ample bathrooms inside and upstairs, the gruff, unpleasant, non-tourist friendly service leaves a lot to be desired. If you have limited time in Innsbruck, go somewhere else. They don't deserve your vacation dollars here.

Yelp
Cute cafe with a lovely Christmas display in December. They have a nice assortment of cakes and other such desserts. I didn't find the cake I had particularly special, and so was a bit disappointed. The hot chocolate, however was excellent, and as described by a previous reviewer it's somehow enjoyable to melt the spherical chocolate mass in the hot milk when you reflect on the SwissMiss days!

Yelp
Cafe Munding was such a disappointment this visit to Innsbruck. The quality of pastries has gone down, but the honesty of the servers was the most disgraceful. My waitress said they only accept cast, and so I gave her cash Euros. She gave me some change in Euros and a few coins in Romanian money. She stole nearly 5 euros from me. SHAME on Munding for hiring such dishonest criminals as employees. I will return to Innsbruck many times to come, and I will take my money and business elsewhere. I will tell everyone about the dishonest, poor quality of Munding.

Yelp
As you can tell, we love to frequent coffee places every where we go. We enjoyed our morning visits to Munding. The coffees were good, they had good pastries, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Reminded me of places in very small towns which pride themselves on good customer service. The only reason it has four stars was it did not have WiFi..something every coffee place should have!

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick coffee and to sample an "Innsbrucker". Dessert was good, but definitely too sweet for me to finish. Coffee, not so much. Definitely the worst coffee I'd had in Innsbruck.

Yelp
Hot munding chocolate is equals to a glass of milk plus a chocolate ball that you put on the glass of milk. Innsbruck torte is a hazelnut cake with hazelnut mousse and hazelnut cake at the bottom with a munding chocolate medallion. There is a whipped cream on the side as well. This reminds me of my childhood weekends! The cake is slightly sweet. Not very sweet. There is a bar area where u can have a quick coffee or any drinks. Staff are efficient and quick. Tons of tantalizing cake in the display case. The munding chocolate drink is pure heaven and drama. Presentation is great and u can get the calcium serving u need with this drink.

Yelp
If you are looking for some hot chocolate in Europe, I would highly recommend Munding. It was excellent! Out of all of the places I have ordered hot chocolate here so far, this was definitely my favorite! They give you a tall glass of hot milk, a large sphere of Austrian chocolate, and a small dish of whipped cream. You drop your ball of chocolate into the hot milk and stir it up into melted chocolatey goodness. Add the whipped cream to the top and you are ready to warm up your insides on a cold day in Innsbruck!

Yelp
This place was recommended by my guide on a walking tour, and it was great! My chocolate croissant was delicious and all the other pastries looked wonderful as well. My espresso was fine, but by no means the best I've had. Prices were decent and the location is nice since it's just outside the heavy tourist zone.

Yelp
This coffee shop is very nice a little Hidden in downtown Innsbruck, desserts are amazing here, you can not go wrong with any selection you make:however, when it comes to lunch not the best. I had toast with ham and cheese and this was ok, I also ordered a side salad and they brought me a huge salad with no dressing in a plate too small for it. Also the service is a little slow. So for sure, I will come back for dessert but not for lunch.
