He had a lovely time, the food is good, it’s quiet, affordable and the hosts are lovely Plus : at 2 mins you have a path to a waterfall, do not hesitate to climb to the top (5 mins) to have a wonderful view on a lake and the panorama is amazing !

We wanted coffee at 8am, and I read a review that this place would serve breakfast from 730-930. So that is partially true. They serve breakfast to hotel guests, not regular patrons. We did ask if we could buy coffee, and they allowed us. 800isk for two cups of coffee. We were very appreciative.

The food was really delicious (fish stew, lamb stew and pizza), beer also. All 3 of us enjoyed this dinner for 80€.

We had lamb stew and fish soup. Both dishes were cold. I found a hair in my lamb stew. We told the waiter, she just said she will tell the kitchen. We paid the full price for these dishes. A good expirience: the redwine was ok.

Only went for tea (500isk for both), but we really liked the place. The young waiter was friendly, and helpful with my questions. They close at 21:30. In the morning you can get food and drinks between 7:30 and 9:30. Toilet is cosy and clean.

Cute little place which is a part of the guesthouse we stayed. We reached there 30 minutes before closing and they only had the pasta and fish stew left. The stew was delicious and as other reviewers have said, it's more like a casserole (dry, not like a stew). The pasta was okay-ish. The staff was friendly and stayed late till we finished our meal. I wouldn't come out of my way to this place, but I'm glad I found it.

We enjoyed our food here. The Fish Stew, not really a stew more like a casserole or bake, was the best we had while in Iceland. The place is too cute, right near a waterfall and the prices were normal for Iceland dining. We'd recommend this place over the diner right off the ring road for sure.

Good lunch option after a Skaftafell hike. Simple menu, prices range from 1600 to 3900 for a main course. Wonderful selection of cakes. We were the only table for lunch, food came out quickly.
