We love this cafe. The service is always great. I love that all the staff members has great attitude and always ready to help. The food cuisine here I would say Mediterranean inspired or a mixture of Mediterranean and American style. That's the vibe I got from the food selection they have. The restaurant is spacious and has lots of natural lighting; which is super nice for people who have photophobia like myself. This would be our 5th visit. The food has a great taste and nice flavor. We got different dishes, and the quality is always great. I think they have a great quantity serving size per person, but if you are a hungry eater maybe get something extra to the side. I would say it's a bit pricey, but it's worth the try. Owner is super friendly and we met her during our very first visit, because I had questions about the spot and I wanted to learn more about them.

Google
$35 for a French toast meal with eggs scrambled with cheese, potatoes, and 4 strips of bacon, and mimosa flight. The food was bland to me(everyone's palate is different). The choice of flavors in mimosas was exciting. The champagne was chilled perfectly but the only downfall to me is syrups used instead of fresh juices. The place is not bad just not my cup of tea as a BREAKFAST LOVER.

Google
I hardly ever order country potatoes but something about the melted cheese, avocado, salsa and sour cream on top got me. It was delicious. Nice portions and the staff is friendly. Loved the gravy for the biscuits.

Google
An absolute go-to spot for breakfast! I bring all of my out-of-town friends and family here at least once. Everything on the menu is solid, but my favorites are the eggs benedict and the biscuits and gravy. But be warned: once you try the biscuits and gravy, most other variations on it will not measure up to the culinary delight that you are served.

Google
This is one of our favorite local cafes. The espresso is great and they do great lattes!

Google
Food was ok. My bf really liked his food. I had eggs benedict and the hollandaise wasn't that great. It was a little to heavy handed on the lemon juice, and could have used a little bit of salt and pepper. But I was very happy with the poached eggs, they were perfectly poached. Overall it seems like a pretty solid place to eat. 👌

Google
Great food yet with over the top expensive all is..... I'm tipping 25% when I get the dishes and bus the table and get up to get refills . I'm fine tipping when I am served and cleaned up after of course! Yet this expensive experience wasn't worth the cost sadly . The staff are kind enough not their deal

Google
Everything potatoes had barely anything, one token sliver of peppers, barely any onion. Potatoes seemed boiled and burned at the same time, not crispy. English muffin not toasted on the Benedict, all ingredients just thrown on haphazardly, raw pile of spinach, over cooked "poached egg". Champagne was good.

Yelp
Tried a tasty mimosa flight and a really well cooked California Omelet recently, had great service with friendly smiles and conversation. This place can definitely get busy but is pretty quick with turnover and has outdoor tables on the sidewalk for a nice day. Took an order of bread pudding home with me for later and thought I had died and gone to heaven. It was so good I know I will crave it in the future. Went again and tried the biscuits and gravy and that's the WINNER, yall. Best biscuits and gravy I have had in some time. The andouille sausage is delicious and smoky and the gravy is peppered nicely. Next time I will be trying one of their amazing looking sandwiches, as my dining partner had a mushroom and tri-tip with chèvre po'boy that looked super tasty. Will be back!

Yelp
A group of pals and I started a standard Saturday morning meeting at this location, and it's such a hit with everyone. You order before sitting, which offers convenience when you're meeting with a group (no splitting of the check). They make delicious espresso drinks, the everything potatoes are very delicious, and wait staff is very kind. The ambiance is sweet and homey with lots of vibrant plants. They have a case of baked goods behind the counter, so whether you want a sit down meal or to grab and go, this is an ideal spot for delicious eats!

Yelp
This is one of the few places that opened before 10am on Sunday and was closest to our Airbnb. The door was opened promptly at 8:30 and we were enjoying our breakfast by 8:46. Yay! I had the breakfast burrito and hubby had his usual 2 eggs (scrambled) bacon cooked crisp, hash browns and as a twist, the flat bread. Everything was fresh, cooked to perfection and tasty. Your order at the counter then they bring it to you. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is bright yet cozy. The menu is a bit limited - so I held back a star.

Yelp
Really great service. Huge, clean, open dining room that filled up fast late on a Sunday morning. Loved the variety of the menu - eggs Benedict, breakfast potatoes, giant entree salads, chicken skewers, you name it!

Yelp
We are visiting Eureka and came across Cafe Nooner. This was the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. Get the lamb. I had a flat bread with lamb medium rare and it was chard but still pink in the middle. Lamb is not easy to cook but they did it extremely well. I wish I had another flat bread while writing this review. Absolutely 10/10.

Yelp
Delicious diner and Mediterranean food with lots of vegan/vegetarian options. I love how all the burgers have the option to swap for tempeh on a rosemary focaccia bread - yum! I will have to try one of the burgers next time. We ordered the French toast combo and meze platter. I really liked the sauces on the meze platter, flavorful with grilled pita bread included. It was very garlicky so be warned! Overall a clean atmosphere and lots of homemade juice choices that they make in house.

Yelp
Great vegan options & vibe. Helpful staff that were able to accommodate my dairy free toddler by making a dairy free grilled cheese for him (not on the menu) & substitute his side apple for fries instead since he had eaten apples all morning and I knew he wouldn't be interested in another. Really impressed with our food & the service!

Yelp
Been here just a few times Service is wonderful and friendly Everything I've ordered very very tasty.

Yelp
We found Cafe Nooner when looking for a pet friendly restaurant on our vacation. The reviews on BringFido were good, we decided to give it a try. The biscuits and gravy were absolutely delicious and my wife's tofu burrito was excellent. (great job on the spices!) The breakfast potatoes were also delicious. All of the food was very good, we actually had breakfast here two days in a row! My wife says the coffee was also "really good!" The staff were very welcoming to us and our puppy, the seating outside was nice in the morning on a decently quiet street. We will definitely be visiting again whenever we're up north again, thank you!

Yelp
Had a classic Benedict breakfast. The muffin was toasted perfectly. The hollandaise sauce perfect. Country Potatoes were a bit greasy and my poached eggs were well done. That's close to a fail in my classic Benedict book.

Yelp
We stopped in for a quick late breakfast at Cafe Nooner. I ordered a caramel latte and the country breakfast and my girlfriend had the California omelet. Something was going on with their coffee machine when the server was in the process of making my latte and she was very quick and kind to notify me they're working on fixing it. She also refunded me the latte, which I appreciated but it wasn't necessary as I understand things like this can happen. Our food arrived relatively quickly and the portion sizes are large. The biscuit and gravy that came with my country breakfast was pretty good, the biscuit wasn't too dry or crumbly. The only thing I didn't enjoy were the sausages. I think they make them in house, but the sausage was super dry and almost flavorless. The California omelette was a 7 or 8/10 in my girlfriend's opinion. I didn't try it myself but I trust her judgement as it looked pretty delightful. The interior is more spacey than you would presume looking from the outside. I think they had a back door open for a shipment or something though because there were a few flies roaming about, but not enough to bother us. Country Breakfast: 6.5/10 Country Omelette: 7.5/10 Caramel Latte: 7/10 Service: 10/10

Yelp
Love nooner. I gave four stars because the last time I got the bread pudding they put zero alcohol in the sauce. Not the same. Not as good as usual. Please don't change this excellent bread pudding!

Yelp
I was ultra impressed with this unassuming locals favorite restaurant. I've been hearing about Cafe Nooner for years and today was the day to pop the Nooner cherry! It has outdoor seating (right on a main road so not ideal), and spacious indoor seating. You order at the counter and then they'll deliver your food to you. I ordered the Flatbread Kebab with lamb and extra tzatziki. If you like lamb, you will LOVE this. It's sooo good. They also have the best local brews & ciders on tap. I had a bite of the Signature Burger and the fresh bread bun really makes it extra delicious. If you are rolling thru town and want to experience a hidden hem of a restaurant... search no further! The only thing that wasn't 100% delish was the week old macaron. I should have known.

Yelp
Delicious food made with Love here! Just passing through camping north and stopped here with our dog (patio seating). Order at the counter and really nice (and patient ;) gal recommended the Shroomy tri-tip w/ chèvre po'boy. OMG - heaven in the mouth! Hit the spot. Hubby loved hi s burger and my son (7yo) devoured the falafel wrap. He protested seeing the tahini in it and then shut up at first bite. Lol Nice people work here and they like dogs! I'll be back next time through - thank you!

Yelp
Nothing to write home about. Typical diner food but extra large portions and the employees are really nice. I'd probably come here regularly if I lived in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to make a trip here.

Yelp
I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews for Nooner, but they all seem to be pretty old, so maybe management has addressed customers' previous concerns. I love to visit Nooner in Henderson Center for breakfast! They have excellent breakfast burritos, benedicts, loaded breakfast potatoes and mimosas. Their ingredients seem to be very fresh, including their excellent orange juice. The space doesn't have a lot of character but it's clean and the outdoor seating is awesome on a sunny day. My only small complaint is that they use plastic plates and the tables are bare, so the plates tend to slide around while you eat ... they either need heavier plates or some kind of table coverings. Even paper tablecloths or placements would be an improvement ... it may help with the lack of character issue too.

Nielly L.

Yelp
Food is amazing! Love the walk up to counter service, very relaxing and the baked goods are wonderful on the go. Their flights are a highlight and the house made syrups for the mimosas add a wonderful refreshing touch.

Yelp
Service was nice, food was good! Just nothing stand out. But it was a great quick place to stop for bfast!

Yelp
This local favorite has delicious falafel. I get the wrap or platter and i have enjoyed each time i come. I have brought friends on occasion and they too have enjoyed the food. Counter service is friendly and items are brought out hot and fresh. Beverages available, desserts as well. Coffee drinks. Order at the counter and pick your table. Clean restaurant as well

Yelp
Big servings, fresh ingredients, and friendly staff. I enjoyed a sandwich while my friend enjoyed the hummus and flatbread.
google avatar

Yelp
I had the pulled pork. It was fine. It is self service and they bring your food to you. Everything I tried was ok. Not a lot of variety on menu though.

Yelp
I just ordered the "country breakfast" thru DoorDash. I am at al loss for words. That could've been the best breakfast I've ever had. Each item in the box had its own specific flavor. The bacon, the sausage, the eggs, the gravy and the biscuit, and let's not forget the potatoes. None of the flavors clashed; instead it was an eye popping experience to go from one bite to the next. I don't know who the chef is that thought of these amazing flavors, but as a fellow cook, I tip my hat to you. I have been consistently ordering from a different restaurant for over a year, with results that tend to go from ok, to alright. I will now crease doing business with that business, and always order form Cafe Nooner Too! My taste buds are on 11, even still, 20 minutes later. Do yourself a favor and get some breaky over here. It's so amazingly delicious!

Morgan G.

Yelp
Cafe Nooner is one of the top cafes in Eureka. When I have relatives in town, I take them here. Eating out is always pleasant, fast service and plenty of food that is always prepared fresh. I have never sacrificed on quality when ordering in, either. My favorite place to order a latte. I order a small but I'm always left wishing I had more!

Yelp
Service was good. Kebab plate was awesome. Cafe seems like a good ambience. Tasty food.

Yelp
Love the owner Joe. Good cook, good food. Miss the old location in Old Town. Loved their artichoke soup, dolmas, lamb burger and hibiscus tea. Love the breakfast, and espresso in Henderson Center.
google avatar

Yelp
This place doesn't get the credit it deserves. While I have never been inside the restaurant itself, I have ordered many times. Their food is delicious and not overpriced. I love their breakfast flatbread and the tri tip flatbread. And boy o boy their garlic fries are AMAZING.
google avatar

Willem V.

Yelp
The food was good, except for the fries. It's sad when you pay $16+ for a sandwich and fries, and the fries that come with it are old, luke warm and hard. The lady who took my order was nice, but those fries were horrible. I wish I would have ate there, so I could have told them to make new ones. Sad
google avatar

Bo K.

Yelp
Love breakfast here! Every thing is well cooked ang you get very generous portions. Coffee is also top notch.
google avatar

Emily R.

Yelp
The way breakfast should look! Organic, most of the ingredients are locally-grown, locally-roasted coffee, handmade bread, locally-made jams... I thoroughly enjoy their veggie Greek omelette, and they DO have almond milk for my creamer (because milk is my enemy). This, and my Love's California breakfast flatbread, substituted the bacon with scrambled eggs, came to a whole $21

Yelp
Opened the door today at 2:02pm and they wouldn't serve us, they said that today they had decided to close at 2 last instead of 7pm. Understanding workforce woes these days but the ATTITUDE was one of abuse.,they really didn't care. We were a once a week customer, we WERE.
google avatar

Accept I.

Yelp
Food is good but this place needs better later hours! So stupid to close a buisness at 2:00pm
google avatar

Cambria R.

Yelp
First time trying it and I Can't wait to go back. I got the loaded potato soup which was perfect with a good amount of green onions, I love green onions. Then I got the meze platter and it was beyond good. So fresh and unique flavors. Definitely will have to try everything!
google avatar

Rick E.

Yelp
Before Covid we would come here often for their amazing Benedict's but haven't come much since cuz I for some reason didn't think bennies would work as to go options but I was completely wrong. My wife and I got the Cali Benedict as well as the Florentine Benedict and both were even better than I remembered. The potatoes side dish is ridiculous too with all of that hollandaise runoff sauce. The extra wowzer of the order was the homemade key lime pie that we both felt was the best we've ever had. So glad we live close to the Nooner.
google avatar

Rachel P.

Yelp
The best tempeh burger of my life. Instead of just offering vegan options, they make vegan food that is better than my cooking. And I consider myself a pretty solid chef. I highly recommend their burger, and a local beer (they're all local!). One piece of advice: next time you redo your menu, add avocado to the burger add-ons. You have it on the breakfast menu, but sometimes a burger needs one too. :)
google avatar

Valerie C.

Yelp
Vegan comfort food AND amazing service! I was absolutely blown away by how thorough the girl who took our order was. I was blissfully unaware of them closing in 15 minutes, to begin their holiday weekend, and she was STILL so sweet and patiently went over details that took some ironing out. Thank you so much for exemplifying true customer service! You guys are awesome and greatly appreciated! :)

Yelp
We order takeaway here a few times a month. They do a wonderful job of assuring quality food. I wish I could buy some of their items in bulk! Great food at reasonable prices!
google avatar

Katrina G.

Yelp
I came here about a month ago with a friend and got the grilled veggie flatbread. Basically it's marinated vegetables, roasted red pepper hummus, garlic bubba, tomato, spinach, red onion, creamy cucumber dressing wrapped in a grilled flatbread. The service was good and the staff is friendly. The food is really flavorful and I really enjoyed my meal. There were more onions in it though than I would have preferred. The service was a little slow, although not bad. We also came right at noon so it was their lunch rush. It's a great place to come for lunch. I will definitely come back here next time I am in town!

Yelp
First visit. PROS: Food was pretty good CONS: Service. SO bad. Small things, but one after another from start to finish, from when we walked in the door to when we paid. * Had to work to get waitperson's attention. Had to flag her down after waiting too long to get our coffee on the table. * Waitperson: no attention to detail, not even a small smile. A barely mediocre job. She was very rushed. * Two staff at brunchtime the day after Christmas - really? * Water for tea arrived barely lukewarm - definitely from the tap * 1/2 full decaf coffee was filled with regular coffee * Extremely abrasive, loud, unprofessional hostess/waitperson (yes, one person was doing both at brunch hour): -When my parent was paying for the meal, hostess asked "How was everything?" Parent replied: "The food was good." Hostess: "So the service sucked?" -Yelling "BAM!" and other similar remarks to customers throughout the meal. (I don't know or care why - but it was loud, crude, and did not agree with my idea of a brunch with family) -Repeatedly knocking over Do No Slip safety signs, and nearly falling over them herself -Heard her approach another customer with the line "I hope you're not in a hurry!" ...yikes... -Calling customers "my friend" & "dear" and other terms that I find unprofessional (if not cringe-worthy) There's more but not worth my time to detail. It quickly became laughable due to the constant stream of awful service moves. A generally poor atmosphere where service is a low priority. No comparison to pleasant Cafe Nooner the original. I, and I'm guessing my family members, will not return as we were all stunned by one thing after another that occurred. This restaurant became a joke even before our food arrived.

Yelp
The food is pretty good but the customer service is terrible. They consistently have given me the wrong wait time for my meal, not 5-10 minutes off but 30-45 minutes off. Both of the times this has happened to me the people working offered no apology or compensation, free dessert, or any attempt at all to try and make it right. I have been in the service industry for years and always tip generously 20% or more even on ToGo food. I understand that it's a small community and it's one of the few food options so Cafe Nooner has no shortage of customers, but that doesn't mean you should take for granted the customers you do have, especially the good tippers. Also, the staff is consistently short with me and blatantly show that they could care less when there mistakes have made me miss lunch with my husband or when they forget to give utensils etc. Lastly there soup tops do not work I got home and it was spilled all over the bag. Overall very sad experience. Treat your customers better!

Yelp
Gotta be kidding me! Things got funny with the service here. Two weeks ago a colleague asked me out of the blue "have you ever eaten at nooner in henderson?"... (she knows we both dig the old town nooner but is unaware that I yelp). Turns out she has a nooner too story to share. Tried to go here with her boo on a lunch break. Upon entry was asked immediately, before being seated, if she was in a hurry? She said she was on a lunch break but didn't doll the dynamic up. Listened to the waitress refer to her "hurry" quite a number of times. Heard the waitress tell other patrons to hold their menu questions so she could go take the order for the "people in a hurry". She felt so uncomfortable (and rushed. And thus stressed out while trying to have an hour to relax on lunch) that they left without lunch and picked up salad bar from ENF instead. I amend my previous yelp about the slow service here with a simple "poor service". Seems they tried to turn it around with the slow lunch ... but over corrected to the point of pressuring unsuspecting folks. Get it together, nooner!

Yelp
I've tried several things at Nooner and Nooner Too and everything has been great. I love the lamb flatbread and the biscuits and gravy is AMAZING! Somehow I was ever more impressed today, I didn't look at the menu a lot before ordering and made a quick decision to order the Shroomy Tri-Tip 'N Chevre. I don't usually order tri-tip when I'm out because my family makes such great tri-tip it usually doesn't stack up. But I was so impressed with this sandwich! It was the best thing I've had in a while. I couldn't have been happier! I also paired it with the slaw and the light slaw was a perfect balance for the sandwich. Good job guys!!! If I wasn't already a huge fan, that sandwich would have made me one.

Yelp
Waited 27 minutes for a classic Benedict. When I went to ask if the food was almost ready ( 2 guests came after me ) they asked if I was ready to order. Then said , " your order is right here, and the lady pulled it from under the register...
google avatar

Yelp
We always enjoy our meals here! Breakfast and lunch are equally delicious. I love their take on French toast, and the bacon avocado salad with a chicken kabob and chèvre dressing is my absolute favorite!!
google avatar

Preethi N.

Yelp
The food is prepared consistently and high quality in terms of presentation, taste, and ingredients. The prices are very reasonable and worthwhile. As someone who has food sensitivities, I would highly recommend Cafe Nooner (too). Every time I order from here the food comes packed with care! Its never a mess, they do not forget any added items. Today, I ordered eggs Benedict which I was a bit nervous about..however, it came to me perfectly! It tasted as amazing as it looked-- I ate it before I could snap a picture. Thank you folks for preparing such amazing food!

Yelp
Nooner used to be our weekly breakfast spot. We ate there for almost a year every week. I have even defended them here on yelp for bad reviews. That all changed after Shauna left as manager. The place has gone down hill in quality, service and cleanliness. Yesterday we took my parents there for breakfast, as all the other breakfast places were packed. The last two times we had gone we had sworn we would never go back, but we wanted breakfast. We were seated at the back table where they had just "cleaned it". My father's chair had a huge wet spot on the seat that we had to wipe up, I stepped in a pile of food left next to my chair. As we always order the same thing we were ready for the waitress when she came back around to dispense the silverware and napkins. 3 orders of bisquits and gravy and an order of oatmeal for mom. 10 minutes after placing our order the waitress comes back and informs us they are out of bisquits and brings us the menus (had it been just me I would have left then) we ordered substitute meals and waited... and waited.... While waiting I heard the table next to us order bisquits and gravy, but no mention by their waitress that the kitchen was out of bisquits. To pass the time while waiting we discussed the Crack in one of the water glasses and the large chip out of my dad's coffee cup. The food was finally served, and it was decent, but was a let down when craving bisquits and gravy. 10 minutes after our food was served the table next to us got their bisquits and gravy! We won't be back.... too bad as we used to just love this place...

Elizabeth E.

Yelp
Ordered my son a $15 burger, medium. At least half of it was still raw...Disappointing, we're burger lovers, but no. Also, apple slaw as a side was less than exciting.

Yelp
Great food. Fast service. Had breakfast here today. An amazing omelette. Bbq sasuage. Had lots of ingredients and amazing flavor. Good coffee. Loved the marmalade on my English muffin.

Yelp
I love both Cafe Nooner and Cafe Nooner Too but I need to compliment Nooner Two for having delicious vegan breakfast options. At first I was bummed to not see a tofu scramble option as an egg alternative but the waitress offered their grilled tempeh to add to their potatoes and it was delicious! I'm always looking for more plant-based options in our local restaurants and the Nooner is one if the easiest go-too's' for my husband and I. Highly recommend this place as a place for omnivores and vegans to go too.
