Cafe nostalgic

Lovely little cafe behind the bustle of the harbour. We found it by accident and visited 3 times. Drinks come with nibbles. Had a lovely goats cheese and tomato toasted sandwich and hubby had a turkey tortilla wrap. Waitresses friendly and attentive. A big thankyou to the young lady who recommended the Mouria Taverna for our supper.

Lattes were average, omelette was good but spicy if you ask for it. I liked the Greek yogurt with fruits. The place is sitting in a nice quiet area. It was busy and service was slow.

If you don't mind service people ignoring you for a while and respond rudely, then this is your place. We came for a quick coffee before taking the ferry and the waiter made us wait until she thought it was appropriate to give service. We approached her a couple of times trying to explain that we did not have time to wait for very very long and she would shush us and sent us back. Very poor service, a shame as people in this island are usually super friendly and helpful.

Not sure why the review is coming up as accommodation, but we stopped here as a cafe. Super cute interior, I enjoyed the omelette and Greek coffee. Service was good, owners and waitstaff were lovely.

Loved the atmosphere at Papadiamantis Square! Nostalgic Café was such a lovely spot – super friendly service and really tasty herbal infusions. I left very happy and I’d come back to Skiathos anytime just to visit this place again!"

We only had a coffee (traditional Greek coffee). the barlady was very kind, we got biscuits with the coffee. it is very cosy atmosphere is really nice, genuinely nostalgic vibes

We had a quick stop after dinner near midnight. The café is in a nice location and the atmosphere is good but unfortunately the milkshake and the sorbet we got were really bad, it was just like drinking pure sugar and nothing more. I can’t judge anything else about this place and I see lots of good reviews so maybe we were just unlucky, but sadly that quite ruined the experience.

Oh my word. Perfect, just perfect. A place to sit and watch the world with the best Greek coffee I’ve had. The yogurt with honey fruit and nuts was extraordinary and unbelievable value. 10/10
