Been going for years. Famous excellent bar and restaurant with excellent outside stage and seating. Now does Guinness. . And they know how to pour it just right. Love it.

Good food and rightly priced dishes. The aioli could use a little more taste and so could the meat in their burger. But all together their food are delicious. Only giving 4 stars due waitresses not smiling and seeming tired (except ours that should deserve 5 stars)

I played there with my band last weekend and we had an unfortunate encounter with the owner. We had an argeement that we would get paid for the guests who came to the concert, but when we had been playing for one hour we were told that none of the listeners had paid in advance and that we should not get anything paid for the concert either. The owner had also left the restaurant before we finished our concert without saying anything. We had not received any prior information that it was our responsibility to take in entrance fees for the guests who would come to listen to us. We played for one hour and got nothing paid from Café Oliven. This is a warning to other musicians who would like to play at Café Oliven in Son in the future.

This place treated my friends very badly by not paying them at all for a concert they had at their restaurant. It’s disappointing to see that some owners don’t respect the work musicians do for a living, expecting them to work for free...Don’t eat here and don’t come here to enjoy their concerts if you also think that work equals payment 🙃

BAD CAFÉ, don't go there. Unproffessional staff, boring food and lazy service. This place is a scam, they lied to professional musicians and refused to pay them after their gig. If you want to support a place that utilize and lies to working musicians - go there. If not - don't.
