Staff are so lovely here and the CHILAQUILES con Pollo was nice although the chicken was a little dry. The only drawback was that my coffee was very milky and I couldn’t drink it. Lovely vibe throughout the day too

Love this place so much !! Good food and good drinks and beautiful place to sit and enjoy. The service was wonderful. It was a bit more expensive than ideal but worth the try! I had the chilaquiles and loved it, would like to try their fish tacos next

This place is always full, that should be your first indication that it is good. The bathrooms are immaculate and its pleasant to sit at . They nailed it on a simple but delicious menu. Lots of breakfast/brunch options with iced coffee/frapps but also traditional mexican fare. We heard/saw live music some of the nights and ate there numerous times. Certainly add it to your restaurant list. Handmade tortillas, Chillaquiles, breakfast bolitos and more. Fresh smoothies were a delight as well! Be back next year.

We went here many times for the ice cream, lunch and dinner. It has a beautiful atmosphere in trees and flowers. We enjoyed the bagels and baked goods, and the dinner upstairs on the terrace is just lovely. It’s wonderful if you’re just looking for a cafe and something simple.

We were recommended to come here on our visit to Troncones and we are so very thankful we did! We came here the first night we arrived. We ordered margaritas-one spicy and one traditional with mezcal. I hadn't tried mezcal before so I thought I'd give it a try. I did not like the smoky flavor in a margarita. My husband drank it and I had his. On our next round we both ordered the spicy margarita. It was very flavorful and was made with tequila, ancho Reyes liquor, fresh lime juice (no mix here) and garnished with a Serrano chili. It wasn't overly spicy, it had just the right amount of "kick". We paid $165 pesos for the spicy margaritas and $145 pesos for the traditional. We ordered guacamole and chips to go with our drinks before dinner. The guacamole was very fresh, and had chunks of fresh tomatoes and onions in it. The chips tasted fresh and homemade with just the right amount of salt. There was plenty for the both of us. (you can also order it with jicama and carrot sticks if you want that instead of chips) We paid $125 pesos We then ordered the paprika shrimp tacos and also the beef tenderloin tacos. The shrimp tacos (4 an order) had flavorful seasoned shrimps in homemade tortillas with roasted pineapple, cabbage, and topped with an aioli. It was served with lime wedges and an unbelievably tasty pepper sauce/oil. I am still dreaming of these tacos and that sauce/oil. SO VERY YUMMY! We paid $275 pesos. The beef tenderloin tacos (4 an order also) was served with the meat in homemade tortillas and has avocado chunks (plenty), lightly sautéed onions and peppers (they were not caramelized as stated on the menu but still good. There could have been a bit more too), a dish of that amazing pepper sauce/oil and lime slices. The meat was quite tender and seasoned pretty well. However, compared to the shrimp tacos the flavor wasn't as good. We paid $255 pesos. With the 2 rounds of margaritas, the guacamole and the 2-taco entrees there was MORE than enough food for the two of us. We could have easily shared one taco entree and still have been satisfied. Everyone who worked here was so nice and patient with us. They even allowed us to practice our Spanish on them. I do think they appreciate it when we try to speak their language. **I want to mention that we visited here 2 nights later to have more of those shrimp tacos and the sauce! We ordered more guacamole too! I HIGHLY recommend coming here for dinner. I have heard their breakfasts are yummy too. We plan on trying that next time we visit.

Paprika shrimp tacos with grilled pineapple on blue corn tortillas were amazing! Chili sauce on the side was super flavorful and not too spicy. Ample portion of 4 tacos. Friendly, quick service and super clean establishment. Want to return for the spinach salad.
