I've always heard this was really great pizza and it truly was! Came here on a rainy afternoon we were the only people here. Just after lunch rush and not quiet dinner. Nice and quiet and clean. Greeted and seated immediately and got our Cheesy mozzarella garlic Knots and drinks before we ordered our Pie. Did a extra large pizza with toppings of our choice. Toppings are $3 extra per topping which was a little steep, but it was fine..got it extra thin and crispy. Our server was awesome. Super sweet and attentive. Will definitely be eating here again soon

We visited this restaurant for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The food is absolutely awesome. They have every possible thing on their menu you could ask for. From pizza,and there are several of them, to their delightful Italian entrées. The food Is delicious and the portions are enormous. This is a family owned business and they treat you like your Part of their family. The restaurant is very quaint and makes you feel like you’re in a little Italian café in Italy. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant and I plan on going back there very very soon.

I usually skip cherry tomatoes, but these were so flavorful I ate every last one. I also had the veggie roll and a slice of buffalo chicken pizza—both were incredible. The veggie roll was perfectly crisp and packed with flavor, and the buffalo chicken pizza hit that perfect balance of spicy and savory without being overwhelming. We’ve tried just about every local Italian spot, and this one stands out as our family’s favorite by far. The food is consistently delicious—fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and generous portions. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The staff always make us feel right at home, going above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine and a place you’ll want to return to again and again, this is it.

This was the second time coming to this restaurant. The first time we looked for an Italian place near where we were that had good reviews the second time we wanted to go there because of the experience we had the first time. The food is really good here. I’m not one to like pizza but their pizza is excellent with thin well cooked crust. And everything else I tried gets a 5 stars too. They also have some good Italian wine. Definitely recommended! We will be back again!

Friendly service and tasty pizza. I tried the meat amante pizza and it was delicious. The meat, cheese and sauce were very flavorful and the dough/crust was cooked perfectly. The tiramisu and banana foster desserts were great as well. The only complaint I had was the restaurant was very very cold inside.

What a great find!!! Last night my wife and I were looking for a place to have dinner and came across this one, what a great experience!! Eva was very attentive and would check on us often. The house chianti was very good, we started with some cheesy garlic bread. I then got Baked Penne Bolognese and my wife had Chicken Fettuccini Carbonara, everything was very flavorful and we got enough to take back home. I finished with a Peroni and chocolate cake!! I am very happy with this place and definitely will be back!! PS there are not pictures of the chocolate cake because I attack it right away!!

This Italian eatery did not disappoint. The service, food and atmosphere were all on par. The staff makes you feel welcomed from the time you enter until you leave. The subs are served on a nice crispy, but soft homemade bread. The eggplant seemed fresh and not your typical frozen thinly sliced pieces elsewhere. As for dessert (a cannoli or zeppole for me), the cannoli was piped with a nice creamy and smooth cream with just enough chocolate chips. I know cannoli shells are a task, but for prepackaged shells, these were like having it freshly made - nice crunch. Thank you Sara/Sarah for providing great service and an even better lunch!

Honestly, this is the best pizza around and the dough is so good. I can't recommend the bruschetta enough, the tomatoes are some of the best I've ever had. They do a nice twist on the traditional bruschetta. The soups are pretty good and the garlic knots awesome as well. Overall very solid food and is very consistent.

We popped in here for dinner on a random Monday evening after I'd woken up with a craving for fettuccine Alfredo. I'm never going to Olive Garden again after this. The inside isn't huge but there were plenty of tables available. There's also outdoor seating that had a cute ambiance. We chose a table inside and Autumn came over right away to take our drink order. She was absolutely awesome and got my cranky 6 year old smiling. We ordered the kids pizza to split for our daughters, stuffed shells for my husband and Alfredo + chicken for me. The salad and garlic knots that came out first were super delicious. The knots in particular, omg. Soft but crispy edges and the garlic butter Parmesan combo...ugh. The Alfredo was exactly what I'd been craving-- enormous portion and a perfect creamy sauce that didn't become gluey as the meal progressed..like some places... The stuffed shells were pretty good and the pizza was delicious. Great cheese pull and a nice, salty crispy crust. There were a lot of takeout pizza orders while we were there, which is a testament. Even though we were all so full we couldn't say no to tiramisu. It was light and creamy and delicious and oddly took away the heavy, full feeling. Perfect ending to our meal.

Came here on a whim and I'm so glad we did. Service was excellent and they were not busy for a Saturday night which normally would be a red flag but it was just our luck. Got the kids size pizza for my two and the chicken fingers portions were large enough to split both. I ordered the eggplant stacks and I love eggplant but normally eggplant parm disappoints but not here. Even my eggplant hating hubby liked them and my kids too. It came with salad and garlic knots the size of my whole fist. Huge fluffy and generously covered in Parmesan and garlic. It also came with pasta I asked for ziti and they were nice enough to bake the cheese into it. We ordered the xl pie for adults half regular with extra cheese and half steak with Alfredo sauce called bistecca and they didn't fret about mixing red and white sauce or anything. The bistecca was solid and delicious and generously topped and made me so happy. They also have lots of wine to choose from and real Italian beer. Honestly feel like this is a hidden gem.

Very disappointed. We ordered 2 full meals and only got 4 garlic knots, which was fine at the time. But she should have given us the other 4 knots with our leftover boxes. We forgot to ask but it was her responsibility to provide what we paid for. Not sure we will return.

3/5 - Came in for a pizza review with some coworkers from the hospital. We got a large Sicilian pie with half mushroom and half pepperoni. It came in at about $28. The pizza wasn't bad but wasn't great either. The slices were big which gave this a higher rating, but it was rather flavorless. I have heard good things about their other food so perhaps try that instead of the pizza! They did give a good layer of toppings, but it all separated once slightly cool. Cafe Paisano has been a local favorite to the Longwood area for many years now. They are a small dining fast casual Italian restaurant. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and makes you feel at home upon entering. Their menu consists of a variety of different pastas and pizzas. I got the jumbo cheese slice with a garden salad, mixes veggies and garlic knots. The garlic knots came out first and they were massive. Extra garlicy taste to them and the perfect puff as well. The mixed veggies consisted of zuccini, carrots, broccoli. It was soaked in a lemon butter sauce and it was very very tasty. The jumbo slice was slightly lacking to me, I personally like my pizza to be a bit more cooked and a tad bit more sauce where as this one consisted of more cheese. Overall, I always recommend this spot for a quick lunch. The staff is always inviting and overall I'd say the food is pretty good.

Took my kids here recenetly for a mom date and honestly was super impressed with the service and setting. From the outside you don't realize how cute it is inside. We had Autumn as our server and she was very sweet and attentive. My kids got the kids pizzas and devoured them. I had the vodka penne and the portion was HUGE. (it also came with a house salad and the homemade balsamic is excellent) At first I was concerned about the prices but when seeing the portion that came out it felt fair. My kids are already begging to come back. And I know we will be :)

Such an amazing local spot! We come here frequently by ourself and as a whole family. The staff is always accommodating, food is always perfect and fresh, and they give extra consideration when making allergy friendly suggestions. This afternoon we dined for Valentines lunch and I was so impressed with the lobster ravioli! I wish this was a menu staple! They also brought single stemmed roses for the guests along with their check which I thought added a nice touch compared to service at most places. They really stood out today! My mom just had a party that was catered by these guys and the food was so good! Their Alfredo is so tasty. The eggplant Parmesan was absolutely fantastic. Great meatballs, great lasagna. highly recommend!

Pleasantly surprised! I pass this place all the time and finally tried it. It's clean, they have great service, and the food was hot and delicious! They have an extensive menu as well! We will definitely be back soon!

We stumbled upon this place looking for lunch. This is definitely a local Longwood neighborhood fave, as everyone seemed to be familiar with it. The place looks larger outside than it is inside, but there's decent seating. Service was a little slow, but friendly. There was a small lunch special menu, but of course the Stromboli and calzone weren't included. And of course that's what we wanted. Flavor was ok, a little bready, but good.

Pros: Kind and attentive staff, affordable prices for the amount of food you get, quickly seated, relaxing atmosphere with good music playing, delicious food Cons: I can't think of any. Overall score: A+

Today was the second time eating at cafe paisano and let me tell u ! The service, the waitresses, the pizza ! Amazing ! Not to mention the owner is very friendly and welcoming! Definitely 5 stars !!

Came in for a quick dinner, and was impressed by the excellent service. We ordered eggplant parmigiana and a broccoli and pasta dish. The meals came with a salad and garlic knots. The garlic knots were large and delicious!! My only issue was the broccoli and pasta dish lacked flavor. The meals were very affordable and portions large enough to bring home leftovers. I definitely plan on going back and trying some of their other items.

Phone order went great. Was really hoping the food matched the excellent order taking. I ordered cheese stuffed garlic bread. I would recommend a highly garlic infused butter and it would better. Lasagna has a really good gravy (for the NYC crowd). I also ordered 10 wings with garlic parm. Tbh the wings were a bit on the smaller size. A bit of a let down. Next time I'll dine in.

For the life of me I could not figure out why this place was not packed with an hour long wait even on a Tuesday night. Not one aspect disappointed; pleasant surprises abounded. House chianti- excellent. Italian wedding soup- chock full of carrots, meatballs, pasta etc, the broth subtle yet increasingly satisfying with each spoonful; the spaghetti and mushroom al forno- a decadent abundance of cheeses baked together with some pasta and flavorful sliced and sautéed mushrooms, garlic, and sausage. What more could you want? Garlic knots? Complimentary. Tiramisu and signature crema y gusto black LavAzza coffee?! They got it and more! Get outta here!

Loved the interior decor, felt like a local pizzeria from back where i'm from in New York. Service was great from start to finish. We ordered a jumbo slice cheese slice as well as a jumbo Sicilian slice to try. I was afraid it was going to just be gimmick pizza but honestly they tasted great. I love the regular slice for being properly cooked and tasting fresh, not floppy and overly cheese or undercooked. The Sicilian isn't my style but the focus on the sauce was great. Me and my wife then shared a dinner size of the Carbonara and it was tasty. I'm a little bit of a snob and do enjoy when italian places use guanciale instead of bacon for that more authentic flavor but it's not customary in the states as much. The pasta was enough for 2 people easily so keep that in mind! The garlic knots that came with the entree were perfect, not overly oily or doused in 9 cloves of garlic, just soft and a nice garlic parm flavor. Overall i'm glad we decided to stop in last minute and would definitely like to try more in the future!

Where to start, as soon as you walk in the atmosphere feels great. I had the Frutti Di Mare and was great! Service was excellent, will be paying a visit again.

Really impressed with our experience here. We had a last minute change in our dinner plans and called them and asked if they could seat a party of 10 for a special occasion. They had us in and seated within 10 minutes. The place is pretty small inside but we still felt comfortable with our large party. They had plenty of options on the menu and were kid friendly. Our food was pretty quick and good. We tried several pasta dishes, appetizers and their pizza. I'd give them a 4/5 for Italian food. But the overall experience and waitresses certainly made this visit more than worth it. We'll definitely be back.

It was a Friday night- pick time dinner - and red flag: only 1 table served. Regardless we are always looking for NY style pizza.. but this was not it all. The huge feed 2 size cheese pizza was a surprise. We also order a pasta dish chicken something and it was way too lemony for our taste and it was served COLD and over cooked pasta - our hope was on the garlic rolls: regular white bread rolls with lots of I guess olive oil? Upsetting. The service was excellent - she was in the need-to-need basis' and quick with the check NY style for real. It was a one stop eat and we are like 6 miles away, it was not a good experience.

Went here recently for the first time and it did not dissipate! The server was so sweet, great wine selections, massive portions size and pizza by the slice!! Can't wait to come back to the garlic knots!

I've been coming here since they've opened. You can see by my countless photos, check ins (not counting the times I forgot) and my previous 5 star review that I absolutely love the food here, but I rarely eat in. This was made more evident after our experience tonight. The place is not large so the most servers I've seen has been two. When we sat down we were greeted by someone who took our drink orders and said they'd let our server know we were here (nothing I've experienced here before, seemed like a hostess but I did see this person again). My daughter received her drink but I hadn't made my decision so when our server came by I let them know. In between me ordering my drink and receiving it three other people came in for to go orders. Our one server handled all of them before bringing out my drink (I want to make clear, I do not fault her, I fault management). After I received my drink the server said let me drop the other tables waters off and I'll be right back (mind you, the only other occupied table there). The other table ended up putting in their order prior to us, no big deal usually but after what we had dealt with prior was pretty annoying. The rest of the service was good. There's one thing I'd like to touch on that has always left a bad taste in my mouth and why I usually order to go and will now from here on out. The bruschetta appetizer to go comes with two small containers of the tomatoes which is just enough. When you order in there is hardly any. Tonight I asked for more and I was told it would be an up charge. A man came in tonight for a to go order and I overheard him asking how much dressing came with the side salads (she said a small amount because it's made in house). They give you a packet of Ken's dressing and she told him I'd be a .99 up charge which he declined. They are very stingy on their marinara sauce, which I've mentioned before. I asked for extra and without being told about an up charge it was $1.99 extra. They nickel and dime you here for everything. If you order from here order take out.

Pizza was good but when I ordered they didn't have the menu online... yes the guy texted me so I could see the speciality pizzas... but they also charged me for every toppping at $3.00 and I'm sorry but taking away sausage for bacon , taking away tomato for green peppers and to take away onions for mushrooms shouldnt of costed me an extra $15 plus tax! Sorry but a pizza shouldn't be costing over $50! What a ripppppp off

Ok hear me out, if you're looking for comfort food, cheat day, Italian... This is the place for you. I came with some friends on a lunch date and this place did not disappoint. We had the garlic knots, calamari, cheese pizza, and delicious. Even a small salad to feel healthy. Just absolutely fantastic. Service so friendly and inviting. Food came out fast with amazing quality. You'll leave with a food coma trust me, you won't stop eating !!!!! Enjoy for yourself

Best NY Pizza in Longwood! Always wonderful service with dining available outside. Frozen mugs for beer. The rest of menu is superb as well. Isn't very busy when I usually go and the space isn't very large.

The food was superb. I ordered just a bowl of vegetables soup with garlic knots. I enjoyed it so much I ordered another order to go plus the garlic broccoli over pasta to go as well. I also ate their tiramisu for dessert I was not prepared for the goodness. I didn't even think about photos. I was so happy to actually have a good meal without thinking they should have added this or that. No need these people can cook! Clean and well lit. A winner for me.

Always great meals, but being an Italian myself, I have specific opinions and tastes. Their basic sauce is not my favorite, but it is good, and of good quality. I especially like their escarole and beans. Meals are always served with fresh bread and butter. My sons think Positano pizza is their favorite in the area. Ambience and service is always nice.

We (myself and two girlfriends) ate lunch there today. I ate the lunch special Greek salad and the Italian wedding soup. The food was fabulous. The waitress brought us over the biggest garlic rolls I have ever seen, they were so delicious!! The waitress was very attentive and pleasant to interact with. My girlfriend's ate the chicken /garden salad with shrimp/lobster bisque. They both said their food was delicious as well. I highly recommend this restaurant !!! It was very inexpensive for the portions you reserve !!

Great pizza. I modified the deluxe a bit. They followed directions. Ambiance was awesome, comfortable with nice lighting and some fun Italian music. I hate restaurants with blaring music! But this was just right. Service was attentive. We throughly enjoyed our experience.

The food is amazing and so is the staff. The chicken Alfredo roll was so good. The garlic knots were so light and had so much flavor. This is a definite must stop. Jennifer was our server and she's a sweetheart.

We have eaten at Cafe Paisano numerous times and have never been disappointed. The pizzas are excellent, the dishes are really good. Particularly the Chicken Parmesan and the Lasagna. Our server, Laurie, is friendly and helpful and always is very congenial. The restaurant is fairly small but the atmosphere is always pleasant. I know that there are many Italian restaurants around town, but this one deserves a try.

It's been a good ten years since my last (and first visit). I can't believe it's taken me this long to come enjoy a meal again! My family and I enjoyed a delicious meal on Mother's Day (dinner). We ordered a large Rustica pizza. Listen here when i tell you this is delicious. It's topped with Genoa salami, Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, bacon, basil, fresh garlic, olive oil & mozzarella cheese. This is literally a flavor packed pizza that tastes delicious even two days later (yep...i finished off the last slice today for lunch). My son ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which he said was pretty tasty. You gotta get an order of their garlic knots- they come out hot, fresh and oh so garlicky with a side of their marinara for dipping. Amazing! Since it was Mother's Day, i left with a beautiful long-stemmed rose that was given to me by our sweet waiter that evening.

My wife and I stumbled on Cafe Paisano while in Orlando. We were looking for a quite, local place where we could calmly enjoy a nice meal. Cafe Paisano hit it out of the park on all accounts. Our server was prompt and gave us good recommendations and checked back on us several times. Both the chicken parmigiana and veal parmigiana were delicious as were the garlic knots. The meal also included a salad so it was a phenomenal value overall. Give this place a try if you're in the area!

Food is good, but had stale crackers for soup. Good pizza. People are friendly and understanding.

Had the food catered last year for a meeting of 70 people. They were ready, the food was hot and they supplied the utensil and napkins at a VERY reasonable price. I forgot to write the review last year, but am ordering for the same event. Mouth is watering just thinking about it!

This place is amazing! The staff are so welcoming. The food is delicious. I just had the steak and cheese sub. I highly recommend it. It was so good. Been eating here for two years and I absolutely love it. I've tried many things off of their menu. Loved every single one of them. Their pizza is really good love the crust. I've had many of their pasta dishes, they were all exceptional. I've never had an unpleasant experience at this place. The service is phenomenal. The food is delicious and if you'd like to do to go orders, they deliver quickly.
