Nice coffee. Soy cappuccino $4.50. They sell stomp town coffee beans. There are few seats, so better for take out, maybe.

A cold, yet charming coffee shop. Coffee is made poorly, weak and watery, but latte are good. Seating can be hard to come by, though on warmer days you can enjoy the ouside seating. Mornings and weekends will have you waiting on lines.

Really great coffee, cute spot and really friendly baristas. Not quite sure what other Yelpers are talking about when they say that the staff is rude- I have been here dozens of times and they have never been anything but friendly to me! I can't comment on the pastries but the coffee is the best in the neighborhood.

Great coffee! No frills environment, just great coffee. Some of the best you'll find in New York. They party like it's 1999 - talk to each other, no Wifi.

My espressos are consistently very good. After coming here almost daily for three weeks most of the baristas are finally being more friendly! Must be that "New York" thing

Excellent coffee, expertly prepared and served by incredibly friendly baristas. What else can you ask for, you may wonder? I walked in their one day on the verge of tears, going to a job I didn't want to go to and a friendly bearded barista turned my day around. I've since left that job but I'll always stop in at Peddlar when I'm in the neighborhood

No good for regular people but if you are a Wall Streeter , you'll be ultra comfy.

Ever since I saw that local NYC commercial with the bearded hipster sticking his dirty face into a pile of coffee, I have avoided places that serve Stumptown. But even if I never saw that, this place is a magnet for the idiots of the neighborhood. Good cookies though.
