Stumbled upon this hidden gem tucked away in a small alley in Ubud. The breathtaking view and the charming rustic bamboo interior truly capture the essence of tranquility. I tried the Indian chicken curry with salad and roti—flavors were rich, with a perfect hint of spice. The chocolate cake was a standout, an absolute must-try! However, the mint tea could use a fresh twist—adding real mint leaves instead of sweeteners would elevate it. Service was a bit lacking, as the waitress wasn’t very attentive, but the overall experience was delightful with some room for improvement. Definitely worth a visit for the ambiance and dessert!

worth to try if you looking for cafe in the middle of rice field. overall satisfying!! but the road to this cafe is really small, passing through a footpath in the middle of the rice fields.

We enjoyed the beautiful views and a delicious meal. We ordered a margherita pizza to share with a glass of white wine and a soda. The atmosphere is very pleasant and allows you to relax with the views.

Be aware that it’s just to see the views, which could be amazing. If you’re looking for good food or beverage, this might not be the best choice in the zone. Avoid pizzas. Tacos are just fine.

Food: The food were delicious For the higher prices, the portion was big. So the food was really worth it The salad was just ok though nothing special Surrounded by green patches (Note it is not rice field but tall weeds) How to get there: You cannot get there by car. It is only for bikes or a long way walk up there. Even on bike it was far and the path was hidden Check the video that I uploaded on how to get there Service: Can be improved. The tables had lots of small ants on there when we sat down. And we had 1 ant climbing in the food. Servers can be more attentive and less chatting. The servers were louder than the customers when we were there.

I am happy to find this calm place in the middle of Ubud's traffic jam. Had to walk around 15 mins from the main street, but the view was nice! Food was just okay however Vegan & gluten free option available. ✨️Didn't manage to come on sunset, yet the night ambiance was very quite & serene. Saw beautiful fireflies on the dark rice field 🤎 Definitely recommended!

Less than ten years ago this was one of my favorite places in Ubud. But it's sad to see how rundown the restaurant is now. The flowers in the pods are dead but nobody cares, the toilet is dirty and the staff is more interested in their phones than in the service... Also the view isn't the same anymore as some got the "permission" to build a huge ugly Villa at the edge of the rice field... And the old nice walking path which leads to the cafe is now a highway for the construction scooters bringing a neverending stream of building materials to plaster one of the last green parts of Ubud with even more villas for tourists...

This used to be a parachute roofed place that’s a secret in town. Still is a secret I suppose and now with a proper roof. I ordered pizza and while good, it’s missing the yeast/fermented dough if my assessment is correct which would elevate the experience. Regardless, this is an oasis in the rice paddy fields. It is tricky to get to and if coming by scooter, you’ll be tested on your balance and slower speed driving. Mainly single lane roads that barely allows two bikes side by side. Some parts require cooperation to past each other. But the effort gives the reward.
