Cafe PreVue

Lovely Spot beside the Stockman‘s Bridge on the Ovens River. A lovely waitress, (from New Caledonia), looked after me perfectly. It was very hot. Once seated in the shade, she immediately brought my dog a bowl of water. She came back intermittently to check all was ok. The coffee, croissant and green pressed juice were exceptionally good.

It is a beautiful cafe sitting just next to a park with quite a lot of parking available Coffee is pretty good! But the big breakfast is a bit disappointed, because the scramble egg is over! But the home made tomato sauce is a highlight! And the egg on the toast is also over too! Although it is over, the presentation of the dish is very attractive! Staff and very attentive and friendly! The whole place is warm and welcoming even on a cool morning!

What a lovely, relaxing, and picturesque a location for a cafe. A real little gem. The food was not cheap but it was delicious. Plenty to choose from for vegetarians and gluten free. Plus after our meal there was a lovely stroll along the river to enjoy. Bathrooms were also very clean, with everything that one needs available to easily change babies. With water bowls on outside for dogs to sip at. Everyone was certainly catered for at Cafe PreVue.

Stubbled across Pre Vue this morning. Angel our host was very friendly with a great big smile. We are travelers from out of town. The location across the punt and overlooking a bridge with gardens. I ordered the big breakfast and it was a massive portion. Well presented and delicious. Also tried the Pranta Chai Latte. Highly recommended to travelers.

Coming all the way from Melbourne to countryside it was worth the road trip . We really enjoy the food , the location of the cafe and the service from the place . We will definitely come another round

Brilliant cafe in Wangaratta. Vibe was perfect on a sunny morning seating outside. Coffee was great and our egg dishes with cooked perfectly. We are back next month and have already booked breakfast. A great and satiating start to the day before we head out to wineries. See you soon. Edit: visited again and they don’t disappoint. A very filling meal, eggs cooked perfectly, can’t go wrong.

The restaurant is beautiful but food isn’t really good and there are flys

Had the food being nicer/tastier AND fresh, it will be 5 stars! The environment and setting and service were great. Those on the floor were attentive and very pleasant. BUT... The food were another matter! We had 6 orders,. 2 dishes were below par and NOT fresh, with one being, a bit off! We send the chicken back, after 3 people tested it for "being off". Credit to the waitress, she just said she Will get it replaced. See pictures. The beagle was definitely not fresh with it being dry and "crusty" as it's being toasted dry! The cheese was solidify and hard, again a sign of being unfresh. For the price, one expects some "quality", if not fresh! Sadly we were recommended by a friend to visit the place, but doubt if we will ever return. Deeply disappointed, after we were looking forward to eat, after driving over 3 hours.

So delicious!! Vegan/vegetarian friendly (I'm in love) I always take guests to this place for brunch and no bad experiences thus far. I honestly love this place. I do wish there was more room though as it's nearly impossible to get a table on weekends.

Went here for jazz festival "tapas" night. Music was over half an hour late to start than what was advertised and then it wasn't even the full band. The full band only played a few songs before going on a "short break" for about half an hour or so. Further, the music wasn't even jazz as we told it would be when booking. Not only was the drinks list extremely limited, with only three heavy beers, the only local beer on the list was sold out by 6 o'clock. Drinks took forever to come out and some were forgotten. Now time for the food: some of the dishes were cold on arrival. Most were very average considering the excessive prices. One lamb souvlaki did not have any tzaziki! The satay chicken just tasted like boiled chicken, the only thing satay about it was some crushed peanuts thrown on top! We were also told we would get our food brought out slowly over a period of about an hour and a half. We got the first six dishes in about 20minutes and had to tell them to slow down. They were definitely trying to push us out as fast as possible despite the promise of a relaxed evening. Considering there was a special menu made for the night, it was irritating that they had to continually check if they had food and drink available. The concept was good. The execution was terrible. Would have expected much more for $60 a head (not including drinks). Would not eat here again.

This place has top quality food and excellent service. Prices are amazingly reasonable. We had a lovely chicken salad and salad three coffees for $53. Great position on the river and rail trail means looking into greenery. Also wheelchair accessible.

Great food, little pricey, great view, attractive and well presented staff, happy to continue dining here. Parking is terrible (not their fault) - park over the river in all day parking to avoid nightmares
