Very nice service, good and enough food! Also wonderful interior and quiet. It was very worth it. Good cost-effective. One of best brunch cafe in Leipzig

I’ve been here a few times for a coffee. The biggest plus for me is the interior. Wow, just wow! Another big plus is that they have plugs to charge your laptop, which means it's a good alternative to Starbucks, especially if you also consider that it's much less crowded during the day. I think next time I’ll try the food and perhaps a milkshake and if they are also impressive, I’ll give it a 5.

Really nice place to have drinks and food and even better if you can sit outside if the weather's nice. The waiters and waitresses are super friendly, hopefully we'll get a chance to visit again.

Came here for breakfast after reading other reviews. The food was delicious. I ordered the pancakes with chocolate sauce and a milch kaffee. As an English speaker with not much knowledge of the German language, the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere was all around relaxing and it felt like a trendy place.

This place is so cozy! I can't believe I waited 20 years to Café Puschkin. Now I understand why it's still here.

Really unusual ambience in the best sense; it's like diving through a portal when entering here ~ Not the warmest of services at least from a subjective side but my cocoa on the other hand was very warm and quickly on my table. It also tasted quite decent with a well balanced dose of brown sugar :o I also liked that there are real candles on the table. Even at 11 am it kinda feels right and is not a given in my experience Soo it's neat!

Damn good brunch for reasonable prices. Went there on Saturday, so the place was very crowded. On the other hand everything was served very quickly and a smile. Also, I personally fell in love with the menu design, which is very unique, not even speaking about the overall design of this cafe. Definitely a place to visit in Leipzig.

Yelp
My choice for lunch: potato and pork soup with hearty bread. This meal was very substantial, hot and good and it went so well with their good house draft beer. The interior with it's very East German feel, is on two floors with lots of dark wood and interesting paintings on the wall. My companion had a very lovely hot chocolate with mint which is one of their house specialties. The location is right on a main street thoroughfare in a shopping district so it's a great place to rest for a bit during a shopping day.

Yelp
I've had a few totally fine experiences here but today received completely unacceptable treatment from one of the bartenders/waitresses. Upon ordering a latte, in German, as I usually do, and which is always enough to get my order across at Cafe Puschkin, she replied with some sentences that I was unfamiliar with and quickly. So I replied, in german, to excuse me because I don't speak german and that I didn't understand. Any reasonably decent human being would have taken literally any other course of action but she, with an unbelievably zazzy attitude, scoffed so loud I could nearly feel the breath coming out of her lipsticked mouth, shoved a latte on the counter (one that was already made--I presume she was making a fresher one for another customer that didn't offend her so maliciously), and didn't make eye contact with me or speak another word. I waited, as I assumed this drink that had been on the counter since I walked in was for another customer, for my latte to be made. A minute or so later, she (again, no eye contact, no words) pushed the drink closer to me and held out her hand for the payment. I'm not going to lie: I'm getting a little pleasure from this review as it, and my never-coming-back-here, seem to be my only recourse. I don't know how to tell some one to "up yours" in German, or I would have done that maybe instead and not resorted to Yelp. The latte is decent, if lukewarm.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning, and the place was already quite busy but we were seated right away. Food is good, nothing out of this world, but honestly in Germany I am usually happy if the brunch menu includes some warm options (eggs etc) and this place did. Friendly service and nice ambiance. Would be back if in the area!

Yelp
The "Russian" meals are not quite authentic, but that's not what the café is about. It looks great and is indeed a fun place to hang out at.

Yelp
Ok, the puschkin may be a hip place - but does that automatically has to be correlated with terrible service? The waitress brought 2 times the wrong soup, which ended being served as dessert, was absolutely not caring about her customers and preferred talking to her friends than getting the check.... After pretty long waiting... The food: not really worth a discussion
