⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 — Great Breakfast, But Chaotic Service Café Reichard is actually a lovely spot with good breakfast options and excellent pastries. The bread and baked items were fresh and delicious — definitely a highlight. The ambiance is charming and the location is great for a relaxing start to the day. However, the experience was let down by the chaotic service. It was very crowded when we arrived, and there was no clear system — we weren’t sure if we should wait to be seated or just grab a table ourselves. We ended up finding our own table, but then had to wait quite a while before anyone brought us menus. The breakfast menu also wasn’t very intuitive, so it took some time to figure out what was available. Despite the disorganized service, we’d still consider coming back — just hopefully on a quieter day. Bonus tip: check out the toilet — surprisingly interesting and worth a peek!

We wanted to get breakfast in a nice place and this was the option. A bit busy as this is a hotel too and service was ok. Not bad but would have been nice some suggestions from them as this was our first time. Even though, we enjoyed the time and the experience. If possible, try the buffet instead. More expensive but in the end we thought that would have been a better option.

We walked in thinking it was just a look-and-buy café, but behind some cute clear doors was the actual restaurant—absolutely adorable inside. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and it’s located right across from the cathedral, making it a perfect stop while exploring the area. Prices were very reasonable, with a wide selection of drinks, coffees, cakes, pastries, and breakfast options. We went for breakfast and loved it—just a simple city breakfast with fresh orange juice, a croissant, and a roll with spread, but it was all delicious. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed it so much, we’re planning to come back tomorrow to grab a cake before leaving the city!

One of my favorite restaurants in all of Europe. Opulent interior and excellent service from well experienced wait staff. This restaurant is located in an optimal location and receives as many locals as it does eager tourists that are in the know. The dining room is bright and pristine with exceptional lighting fixtures and an interior design intended for a truly fine dining experience. The local patrons are rather well dressed for their visit, though tourists can be spotted wearing more leisure atire. The cakes and pastries were presented at a counter behind a case as we entered. This sealed the deal for us as we decided to be seated, and we then were faced with the most difficult decision of the day: which delectable serving of cake layered with sweet fruits would go best with our coffee and espresso. We were afforded plenty of time to enjoy our treat and to soak up the luxurious accommodation. This is a must on your travel itinerary! Be sure to visit the restroom before you leave, never thought I would mention this, but it is one of the most opulent and high tech that I have experienced.

Google
Who is recommending this place??? We come here for a tea and order a black forest cake at the reception, while the stuff told us to wait at the table to be serviced. We then wait there for a long time for the waitress, but when we start to order, the waitress says: oh, you need to check with our reception do we have this, and then immediately left ???????? Is this customer’s duty to check what do you have???????? Are you serious??????? So rude. Paying by card must be ordered for more than 20 euro. Wow!!!! But the food is good and the environment is really good. My advice: be polite and improve English.

Google
Great atmosphere, especially the toilets are incredible. Service is prompt and nice. Food is quite average though. I had Wiener Schnitzel which was quite average. The baked potatoes served with it were terrible and dry. Salad was okay. This place is mostly for elders who enjoyed their time a few decades ago and the restaurant strives in it. This place will be terrific if the chefs and the menu changed for good!

Google
A great place to have breakfast before you start your visit to the cathedral soaking in the views. Staff were very courteous. Ambience was lovely. All the food was amazing and portions were plenty for all of us. Lastly, the bathroom decor was surprisingly amazing.

Google
I visited the cafe because it is very highly recommended on the social media. However this cafe does not welcome tourist or non-German speaker. Server was very rude to me, she seems like she does not even want any Asians in her eyesight. Had a super bad experience which ruined my entire experience with Köln. Avoid this place - the cafe needs better training with their servers.

Yelp
A tourist trap with amazing people watching and views of the church, awful service and average food. A great spot if you are not in a rush, but good luck getting your order in or your drink refilled.

Yelp
What should have been the cherry atop a very nice visit to the Dom area of Cologne ended up on a sour note. We were there for some warm beverages and sweet treats, and the ambience seemed enticing. It seemed most of our soon to be unpleasant experience stemmed from our actively hostile waitress, a Frau Teixeira, according to her name tag and our receipt. She interrupted one of our party while ordering, stating "I know what you mean, you don't have to explain it." To another of our party, who had brought in a mostly empty Coke bottle and a pasty bag from another store, grabbed them from the table and shoved them under her coat. Menu items were brought with rolling of her eyes, pointed side glances, and with no effort at even basic civility. Upon paying, she stared at the amount pointedly, which obviously lacked any gratuity, and left without a word. If you missed her name the first time, let me remind you. Frau Teixeira. Oddly, as we were exiting, a manager of sorts (?) was refusing entry to a male patron because he was wearing shorts. Sexist? Homophobic? Who knows? We definitely felt like it was supposed to be a privilege to indulge in average quality, rudely served, shiny tourist dessert.

Yelp
Café Reichard is a wonderful place to grab Lunch, or an afternoon Kaffee und Apfelpfannkuchen as I did. The Café is conveniently located just across the street from Kölner Dom. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. Smoking is allowed outside, in a designated area. The food here is very good. But where Café Reichard excels, is at their dessert. The four of us descended upon Café Reichard, after a long and enjoyable afternoon visiting the cathedral. It was magnificent experience, see review and photos. Since it looked like rain, we decided to sit at a covered table. We decided to try a little bit of this and that. But first, we needed some strong German Kaffee to get our motors going again. LOL As I said, I went with the Apfelpfannkuchen €12,60 (see photo). While others tried the Schnitzel und Kartoffel €27,10, Ofenfrische Heidekartoffel mit Kräuterrahm, or Turkey with a Baked Potato. All were very good and tasty, but the Kutchen (desserts) were the best. Depending on how hungry, or thirsty you are, expect to spend €25.00 each.

Yelp
Wonderful respite from the Christmas Market Crowds. The Gooseberry Kuchen is to die for. It's a must try. I want the recipe!

Yelp
We were in Cologne, Germany and we stumbled into this beauty. Coffee, tea time and their delicious cake selection. The servers wears the cutest uniform and they are so welcoming. We had a lovely table and the ambiance is just perfect. Upscaled definitely. We loved it so much we came back the next day. Easily situated by the Central Cologne Train Station. Walking distance to everywhere. I truly enjoyed our coffee/tea time experience here. Excellent customer service. Definitely a 5 star establishment.

Yelp
I would give 0 if I could. Ok food, terrible service. This lady in picture has a strong attitude to us and refuse to take order from us. We are tourist that were only trying to enjoy the food. The moment she saw us she had that despise expression and walked toward us and said "no you have to order inside" while the other lady ordered food for us, outside of the cafe. Very disappointed. How could such racist restaurant still exist in Germany?!
google avatar

Yelp
Food was delicious and we had a wonderful view of the Cathedral in our seats within the cafe's large glass atrium.
google avatar

Yelp
We went here for breakfast and the view of the cathedral/location is amazing. The patio is shaded by a huge tree and the cathedral is in the background, which makes for a cool meal. I got bacon an scrambled eggs and my wife got a croissant with juice and coffee. It was a solid meal and we would definitely go back. I am sure there are better places, but for just stopping by and not knowing anything about it except the location was great.

Yelp
The cakes and coffee are delicious and I'd recommend making this part of your Cologne experience!! The service was slow, but I don't blame them, they were short staffed and did not seem to have enough servers to cover all of their tables. Half the restaurant was closed.
google avatar

Yelp
Well worth the price. The customer service, ambience, and food quality were above and beyond, deserving of a 5-star rating. I had the smoked salmon crepe, baumkuchen, and coffee. The baumkuchen was, simply put, the best cake I have ever had. Every bite was a divinely crafted experience. Café Reichard is positioned right in front of the big Cologne cathedral, with lots of windows and an outdoor patio for plenty of views of the gargantuan cultural relic. The bathrooms are in a league of their own, with premium, large bowl toilets, porcelain and marble galore, and complete with some state of the art stall doors that go from transparent to opaque with the turn of the lock. Impressed is an understatement.

Macy K.

Yelp
The overall experience wasn't horrible. It was weird that you had to order the cake at your table, but view the cake itself at the front because there was no menu. They also were slightly rude and did not help when asking if any of them contained nuts (my friend has an allergy). I got the black forest cake and it tasted slightly like paint. Definitely not worth the price you pay, but the view of the cathedral was cool.

Yelp
Café Reichard is a delightful traditional German cafe. One can come for a meal or simply coffee and dessert. We came in for lunch while visiting Cologne. The cafe is in the shadow of the Cathedral, making it a great spot for visitors. I ordered the Berner Rösti. This tasty dish consists of a base of Swiss Rösti (a type of hash brown or potato pancake) with two fried eggs and bacon on top. My wife ordered the Spinatpfannkuchen, a crepe with spinach, onions and Emmental cheese. We split an Apfel Strudel with warm vanilla sauce for dessert. Excellent! There is also a confection and pastry counter at the entrance. The cafe has a breakfast buffet until Noon. Restrooms are downstairs. The attendant will expect a tip.

Yelp
On a chilly December morning our program director ended the tour near the cathedral and suggested we stop here. Apparently there is some sort of a experience to be had here. We had a cup of cappuccino and rested our feet for a few mins. The buffet here looked pretty darn good but we had already eaten. I would recommend eating here based on looks alone though, it looked that good. If needed, pay the .5€ here and use the facilities. Then you to can find the experience they alluded to

Nicos A.

Yelp
2+1 reasons we will avoid it Number 1 My wife ordered a cup of Americano. When the bill came, we saw this amount 2x4,40. We asked why and the waitress told us 'it's because it was served in a bigger pot that could serve 2 cups. We told her " but we ordered 1' and he answered the way the answered the first time. Number 2 We went to the toilets and we were asked to pay €1 for me and my wife Number 3 When i entered the toilets I immediately realized that a naked old was in the toilet behind a glass door. I didn't know how was this possible. Later I was informed that if you don't lock the door, everybody can see you from outside.

Yelp
google avatar

John T.

Yelp
You can come here for the view alone. Perfect view of the Dom while you sip your coffee or enjoy your cake. Came here twice during my stay in Cologne for the ice cream sundaes. More so for the open seating and view. It was a perfect place to lay back and relax a little after a day of walking. If you were wondering, the ice cream sundaes were delicious!

Yelp
This is a special place. They serve Movenpick ice cream - which I learned is the regional brand. I ordered two scoops of caramel ice cream with an espresso. Their dairy is simple and organic. (Not like the America). This is perhaps the creamiest treat I've ever had - the look, texture and flavor screams freshness. We sat outside so This location was busy and crowded - but the staff seemed to handle business well. We didn't wait long. The best was the view of the Cologne Castle.

Franklin R.

Yelp
Worst service ever!!!!!! Racist !!!! Doesn't surprise me ! Not worth visiting. Better off visiting other European cities. Arrived here at 6:00pm to have coffee and the apple strudel. The waitress didn't come to our table until 6:45 pm to tell us that they were closing at 7pm. Mind you there were other German customers that arrived after us and were served without a problem before us. The restaurant was almost empty so it wasn't like she was overwhelmed with work. We tried getting her attention numerous times but was ignored. We explained that we only wanted coffee and pie. She walked away without acknowledging and mumbling words under her breathe. Finally asked for the manager who basically was as stupid as the waitress. Decided to go somewhere else. This restaurants does not make any efforts to welcome tourist. As I said city as whole not worth visiting. Even less this establishment.

Yelp
2 1/2 stars. Café Reichard location is great but you certainly pay for it. Located in front of the Cathedral, once inside you realize it's a very big and busy place with several rooms and outdoor seating. I had read great reviews about this place and really wanted to have a snack there, even if my first impression (quickly confirmed) was that it seemed a little bit of a tourist trap. The staff is very busy (not very friendly either) and unfortunately it does not make for a pleasant and relaxing experience. I wish the cakes tasted as good as they look, but both my husband and I were disappointed. His cherry pie was fairly tasteless (the fruits had absolutely no flavor) and my cake was disappointing (the alcohol was too strong.) I don't remember exactly how much we paid for a couple pastries and drinks, but I do remember thinking it was way overpriced. The only positive is the location, not enough to justify the bad service and disappointing food.

Tim S.

Yelp
Poor service, it's like they just don't care at all. High prices. Would not recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent pancakes!! They were not stingy with the blueberries lol. Didn't have any, but the ice cream looked amazing. Beautiful view of the cathedral.
google avatar

Lissa E.

Yelp
I was surprised to find such a lovely cafe in such a touristy spot - right opposite Cologne Cathedral. The cafe has a lovely terrace with a beautiful view. I went for one of the impressive cakes from the inside counter. Priced at 4.50 Euros, it was really well priced and it was both lovely to look at and delicious. To drink I had an iced coffee which, if I'm being overly critical, wasn't quite cool enough for my liking - perhaps due to it being cooked using ice cream rather than ice. It was very tasty though! If I return to Cologne I will definitely go back here, for more cake! And to try the huge, fruity ice cream sundaes! Service was maybe slightly slow but only if I'm being picky.

Yelp
Glad this one can be my 350th Yelp review since this place is something special! Located right across the big plaza before the cathedral, this place is a perfect little break for an afternoon treat! Did you climb the million stairs to the very top of the cathedral? Good. You can easily justify a huge slice of happiness while resting your buns and enjoying a stunning view of the cathedral! Anyone that loves dessert will be weak in the knees upon walking into this pastry shop. Make sure you stop in to look at the gorgeous cakes and pies du jour... also check them out because there is air conditioning, which appears to be a precious commodity in this city during summer! We were a bunch of annoying Americans that didn't know how to order the cake we wanted, so we went back into the counter to look, and the nicest lady helped us write down the flavors we chose so that we could hand the ticket to the server. Today they had: - Black Forest - plum pie - strawberry meringue - strawberry glaze - lemon meringue - cherry almond - mixed berry with gelatin and custard - lime pie - yogurt pie - MORE PIE THAN THIS LIST My coffee was served in a heavy little pitcher, and the cake and pie we all had was fabulous. Huge slices of dessert, and the ice creams here are MASSIVE. I can eat a LOT of ice cream, and I would have left here with a big happy face. This place is awesome! PS... By the way, these guys have one of the nicest bathrooms I've seen on my Eurotour! :)
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
When you are in Cologne (across the plaza from the Cathedral) drop into Cafe Reichard! Enjoy the chocolates, cakes and the 5 star German Applr Strudel! For .50 Euro you also must go down and try their marble bathroom! Loved this place on many levels
google avatar

Amrem K.

Yelp
Service is courteous albeit a bit slow. Sit in the sunroom during the colder months and you will thank yourself. The pastries here are Wow! worthy. Check them out.

Yelp
After a wonderful tour of the Dom & Treasure House, we were looking for some cake & coffees to continue our lovely family visit.....enter Cafe Reichard The setting almost seems like an English Tea House with its lovely large room & pastel furniture. There was also a large outdoor seating area with huge umbrellas but it was a bit too cold & we opted for the indoor seating There are truffles, pralines & shelves upon shelves of assorted & bagged chocolates. There is also a huge case of cakes and tarts & you can place your order there & they will bring it to you in the posh eating area Sis In Law / Brother In Law chose a Rum Apple Tart & the Chocolate Tart both with coffees. These are their go-to orders when they come here ( which is often ) The Mr & I chose slices of different Nut Tarts & fizzy waters. Our tarts were slightly sweet & tasted almost the same.....which was not a bad thing Only after we were seated did I see a huge sign for Apple Strudel - darn it! Next time!!
google avatar

Sophia L.

Yelp
Pretty pricey so not the best place to go if you're on a tight budget. The macchiato is good, reasonable size. Served with a piece of chocolate. The peach pie is a bit disappointing. It's not bad, but just okay , and I expected more given how expensive it is.
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
A great cafe in the centre if town with great view of the cathedral. This place has a lot of history and the food is great. I had the Genfer Rosti for lunch which is a delicious potato cake (traditionally Swiss I think) with a creamy sauce and mushrooms. The dish had excellent flavour and I could have licked the plate clean. They also have great desserts and coffee. I would happily come back here anytime. It's a little bit pricey but well worth a visit if you happen to be in Cologne. They have a great deal of outdoor seating and on a nice sunny day would be a fabulous place to sit and have a meal and take in the view :-)
google avatar

Greg K.

Yelp
This is the place! As you exit the Köln Hauptbahnhof, and you see the beautiful cathedral, what better place to experience it and watch people than having a beer at the outside terrace of Cafe Reichard. We came for coffee, water and some good ole German beer. The view is great, the service is quick and the entertainment of simply watching everyone was perfect. They serve desserts and do have a lunch menu. We only came for the drinks. Enjoyable, touristy, but a lace to enjoy and relax and take in the sites. I say, check it out!
google avatar

Marie M.

Yelp
Decent pricing for the quality of the service sits and cakes. Very comfy and nice after visiting the cathedral and waiting for your train. Around 4 euros a piece to take out and 4,50 to take in
google avatar

Buster H.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to a nice treat after visiting the cathedral. The service was extremely slow (pathetic) and the cake was very dry. To add insult to injury the price was outrageous!
google avatar

Greg S.

Yelp
Well-situated in front of the Kölner Dom, this a pretty café with a large assortment of cakes and drinks. When the weather's nice, there's plenty of outdoor seating where you can also enjoy a view of the Dom. The cakes are very good, and nicely accompanied by a hot chocolate or coffee. The value is good, especially considering the location. While it gets quite crowded, so far I haven't had trouble finding a seat when dropping in (it's free seating - the staff will discover you shortly after you sit down and take your order). P.S. the toilet is also worth a visit... the style is quite interesting!
google avatar

Ian T.

Yelp
Although definitely catering to tourists, I would still classify this as a quite good cafe. Another plus is its close proximity to the Köln Dom (Cathedral), so you can dip in for a bit and continue your exploration in the city center. While not exceptional, their beef in cream sauce with spargel (asparagus) and sauerkraut was fairly good. My wife got the salad bar (needed the veggies!). For Americans, it's probably important to point out it isn't an "all you can eat" salad bar; instead, you get your selection and weigh it out and are charged accordingly. There are also various items that are not strictly salad available at the bar. They have an extensive selection of sweets. We tried the Black Forest cake and the iced chocolate. Both were quite tasty. The cafe is extremely pleasant both inside and out, and the service was exceptionally friendly. As a special note, their bathrooms are insane. Even if you don't have to go, take a look as they are almost little theme parks.
google avatar

Angela S.

Yelp
Apple strudel with warm vanilla sauce. SO GOOD. Cinnamon-ey, apple-y, buttery... Café Reichard's apple strudel by itself is already amazing enough, but when it's swimming in warm vanilla sauce... UGH I CAN'T EVEN.
google avatar

Maggie U.

Yelp
If you want the worst customer service you can come here. They gave me the wrong slice of cake and then told me I had to buy another one. A customer decided to chime in and tell me its Christmas and mistakes happen. Totally get it, it happens. However, you say sorry and replace it with a new slice. After 10 minutes Of arguing back and forth with other customers in sight they said they would replace it for free. I would highly suggest the two women working the bakery Christmas evening go through personality training. Perhaps some friendly customer service would suit them well. Going to a bakery should be a warm experience not having a couple of dogs yell at you!

Heath K.

Yelp
I just popped in here for a look at the desserts. I decided to give them a taste. I was already stuffed to the gills. I tried the walnut and marzipan filled pastry with some coffee. Again I had wonderfully friendly wait staff. Coffee out can be hit or miss. Here, mine was a hit. In the past I have been fooled by beautiful desserts that lack taste. This was not the case here. My dessert was both delicious and beautiful. I ate every morsel. I'll definitely return and try of their other items. Each of their creations was beautiful. They were definitely selling a lot. I also understand they have seasonal specialties.
google avatar

Tucker H.

Yelp
Great location just off the cathedral square and not far from the hauptbahnhof, but it just didn't wow us. We stopped in for dessert and while our hot chocolate and apple strudel came quickly the overworked waitress took quite awhile to flag down for the bill. The hot cocoa was fine, but the apple strudel was above average, and served piping hot (as it should be).
google avatar

Camille C.

Yelp
The apple strudel was the best I've ever had. The cream they serve it in is the perfect compliment. Wish I'd ordered a coffee with it. And the view was breathtaking from the patio. Had a potatoe pancake with salmon of some sort. It was good. Riesling was meh.
google avatar

Richard J.

Yelp
Cafe Reichard is a delightful cafe with a stunning view of the cathedral. The prices are surprisingly reasonable given the location, and the food is delicious. Save room for the ice cream! I particularly enjoyed the Swiss rostis with mushrooms. The staff is fluent in English. They take credit cards, but not AmEx. Heads-up, closing time is 8PM.
google avatar

Shauen P.

Yelp
A-MAZ-ING!!! It was a beautifully cool evening in November and we were welcomed by rows of chocolates, cakes and pies displayed along the pink and gold backdrop or the cafe. Just to your right, beyond the displays, is a luxe seating area adorned with chandeliers and filled with the sounds of live piano and violin. The tea was up to standard but the dessert was breath taking! I think I took one bite a minute just to savor each and every moment of goodness. The prices were equally wonderful if you are used to the range of 3 Euros plus per slice of fine cake.
google avatar

Cindy C.

Yelp
The total comes to about 10 euros for a pot of coffee and a relatively underwhelming sachertorten. The cafe is bustling with people, and there is little organization, it's beautifully decorated, and more importantly, beautifully located with splendid views of the Dom. I do sort of like how once you managed to settle in and order, they leave you alone and you're free to sit and admire the views, or, sit and attempt to warm up after a day in the freezing cold (like what I was doing). Lots of tourists and locals alike, guessing this is a long term establishment that isn't going anywhere any time soon - the toilets were pretty nice.....but whats with the sign that said .50 Euro?! I just paid an atrocious amount for coffee and cake and Im expected to pay to use the bathroom?! Turn a blind eye and keep walking...out
google avatar

Susanti L.

Yelp
A very beautiful place with the view directly to dom. You can see the whole place is very exclusive and so is the price. But what can you say, the place is really beautiful and the cake is amazing! Since this is kind of one of the most visited tourist cafe in dom, the staffs are somehow very multilingual. If not for the price, i would be here 7 days a week just sitting around sipping my tea and watching people pass by from their balcony. :)
google avatar

Trang T.

Yelp
Fancy cafe with fantastic view of Köln Dom and good cake. Only go in to show my Mum who is visiting from overseas. We love the strawberry cake, very refreshing on a warm day. It's quite pricey compare to our local cafe in Bonn though it's worthwhile for a special occasion. :-)
google avatar

Rodney C.

Yelp
Excellent food, service and restaurant. They do close at 8 pm, so get there early. I had the Schitnzel which was excellent, and finished with the Apple Strudel which was the best I had ever had...and I've tried many. Highly recommended.

Patrick M.

Yelp
This place lures you in because of it's location. It's perfectly placed in front of the catherdral, but the food, drink and service are subpar. Unless you are looking for a place to escape the cold, I do not recomend this place for food or service. €€€

Yelp
Sitting just across from the beautiful Dome cathedral of Köln is this amazing cafe . I sampled only one dish the pasta with wild mushrooms and loved it but the desserts and pastry and everything is amazing and in a beautiful space ! Attentive and friendly wait staff amazing food and desserts , great ice cold Kolsch beer and the incredible view , I will be back !

Yelp
This restaurant served one of the best sautéed livers that I've ever had. My husband had the Wiener schnitzel and he enjoyed his meal as much as I did. The ambience was casual to romantic. There were several smaller tables that were only for couples and few tables for larger groups such as six and up. My friends and I visited Cologne, Germany for the Christmas markets and found this little cafe as we were nearing mealtime. It was hard to get a table. They did not have a host that seated their guests. It was first come first serve and we had to split and to attempt get a table that fit our group size in several areas and finally after about a 15 minutes of running around we were able to get one after a group of similar size left. The orientation of the tables and chairs did not allow for convenient adjustments to accommodate bigger group sizes. Their bathroom was clean and their desserts was terribly good! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting Cologne.
google avatar

Glor N.

Yelp
First off, this is a review for lunch. I know that a lot of the positive ratings on here were for coffee and dessert. It's a great location, right near the cathedral. I decided to have a salad and coffee, and the salad was a very small portion, and tasted just ok. Nothing spectacular, and definitely on the pricey side. My coffee cost around 3 euro and it was tiny. I should have gotten dessert!
google avatar

Marin B.

Yelp
This was our first pit stop on a day trip to Cologne and overall it was a pretty good experience. The food was alright, but the desserts were awesome! Our friends ordered a huge ice cream platter and there was enough to go around -- all different flavors with different toppings. Yum. The service here was the major negative, unfortunately. Our waitress was not too impressed with us (sorry, we are Americans and I know its probably annoying that we don't speak fluent German, but what happened to a little thing called hospitality?!) This place is also known for the funny bathroom stalls that, unless you lock the door, actually remain entirely transparent and you can see right into the stalls. Very strange! Overall we enjoyed our lunch here and there's one thing you definitely can't deny and it's that the view of the cathedral can not be beat!
