We were looking forward to brunch here, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed by how we were treated.
We initially sat at a small table while waiting for a better one. When a larger table became available, we moved there. Shortly after, two other guests arrived with a waitress, who asked us to move — even though the table wasn’t reserved.
I asked if it was booked, and the waitress said: “No, but they wanted to sit there, and I promised them the seats.” This felt extremely disrespectful, especially since we were already seated and other tables were available.
When I tried to express how uncomfortable this felt, I received no apology, no explanation, and no effort to help us find a solution. Instead, she told me I could speak directly to the other guests — essentially putting her responsibility onto us. When I pointed out that it was her job to handle the situation, she simply turned her back and walked away.
As foreign visitors, we couldn’t help but feel that we were treated with less respect than others.
The food was good, but the overall experience was ruined by unprofessional and dismissive service. I hope the staff receives better training in how to treat guests fairly and respectfully.
