We had an extremely disappointing experience today.
At the entrance, we asked the staff whether we should wait to be seated or find a table ourselves. The waiter told us we could just sit at any available table and wait to order. Soon we found a suitable table, which had no sign of being reserved.
About an hour after we sat down, a waitress came over and told us the table was reserved, but she kindly offered to check if there were other free tables, and we agreed. Around 2:40 PM, however, another staff member arrived in a very angry manner and told us they needed the table at 3:00 PM. She flatly refused to help us look for another table.
We explained that no one had informed us of this when we sat down, and at that point our food hadn’t even been served yet!! We said we were willing to try and find another table ourselves, but she angrily repeated that they needed the table at 3:00. Her rudeness was beyond anything we had ever experienced. She even claimed she was the shift manager — unbelievable that someone in such a position could behave so unprofessionally and disrespectfully.
