Le Saint Pierre - restaurant

For work in lausanne, I needed a place to have a quiet dinner. Close to hotel swiss win +++. Warm welcome from the staff. Fresh seasonal food (meat was great and warm chocolate cake as we like them liquid). Nice and causy atmosphere. Absolutely recommand, didn t felt alone and with very good food.

This small cafe is excellent! Stopped in for a late breakfast and got a croissant breakfast sandwich. Cookies perfectly, and the ham had the perfect amount of salt. Tried a few desserts and can't wait to come back the time I'm in NOLA.

We came at 11 on Saturday without reservation and managed to get a table for 2. Ordered the plats with corbeille and got small orange juice with it. The plats came in large size, very good salad, and fulfilling. Good price vs. quality. Totally recommended!

It was ok. Nothing special really or over the top. We ordered a hamburger and a salmon tartare. The hamburger it’s terrible constructed: bun, sauce,lettuce and then meet. Dear cooker, you have to know that by doing that the meet will sliiiiide from the bun off 😅 A disaster. But well, the tartare was good so the 3 stars. Service was ✅ . Location is good! Restaurant doesn’t have Air conditioner and was boiling hot (specially after ordering some beers/wine). Best of luck! But not returning.

Nice place for brunch. They have many options, your standard brunch foods, nothing too crazy, but of good quality. Place is nice inside with outside terrace where you can enjoy the sun with your coffee. The service was quick and polite. Would come back for brunch, although I’m not sure how it is in other parts of the day

It took very, very long for our food to arrive, we were waiting for around 45 minutes and if not more. Everyone around us was getting their food but ours was delayed, horrible service, everything took super long. Food was okay, atmosphere is nice.

I have been living in Lausanne for over a year now and had noticed this place is quite busy so now I know why. Wonderful ambiance, tapas, drinks, and friendly English speaking staff. It is also nearby the clubs for a night of fun with friends afterwards. Enjoy!!

Perfect brunch experience on a Sunday, on the terrace, under the sun. Delicious eggs Benedict, twisted with a turbo boost ginger, lemon juice. Staff nice and friendly.

I went to Cafe Saint Pierre twice during my trip to Switzerland this July and I enjoyed both time my experience at this joint. The service is great and really friendly. Atmosphere 4/5: Nothing fancy or too weird. The restaurant is well located and close to the main Bus station "Saint Francois". The place itself looks like a modern ish Cafe Restaurant. Food 5/5: I was delighted both times. First time, I had a Salmon with Mashed Potatoes and I had the second time, a Hashi Parmentier which was EXCELLENT. It's one of their specialty there and it comes with a Salad for 18 CHF. Service 5/5: The staff is friendly and professional. They make sure to accomadate you to the best they can get you. The service is quiet fast if you're short on time. Last but not least, make sure to reserve your tables during Summer time on the Terrace ahead of time because they tend to be most of the time full by the time you get there even at 11am.

I would love to give this all five stars but the service was pretty poor the last time I was there that I bumped it down. The food is great and if you get good service, the experience is worth it. However, you should expect to wait a while to have anyone come acknowledge you and plan to wave the waiter/waitress down a lot. I've been here for brunch on a Sunday and the food was pretty good. I went again for dinner and it was tapas style. It is a great way to taste a lot of good foods. The tartar was just ok, but the later night menu items were really good. Plan to make a reservation early enough if you can, otherwise tables are nearly impossible to get. So overall - good food and probably worth trying to get to in Lausanne...but prepare correctly!

Great place to enjoy coffee in the afternoon. The food is average but the atmosphere makes an evening there worth it. They serve modern tapas and there are a lot of choices. A few negative point: no proper terrace for sunny days and afterworks.

You don't feel welcome here. People are not friendly. I had to move table even though the place was almost empty, but I guess they have their little placement obsessions. My coke was lukewarm and gasless.

We were starving at 5pm so we decided to look for a nice place to eat on yelp and lonely planet. We ended up choosing Café St Pierre. They don't, however, serve the main dishes until after 6pm. So we decided to seat on the terrace (be careful to look around and select a table with few smokers around you!) and asked for the cheese and salami half dish. I have to say that, for the price, the platter is very well served and the selection is delicious. Also, the homemade ice tea couldn't be better! The staff is fairly good, but not friendly.
