The husband and I went to Cafe Sara on a recommendation from a local brewery as a spot to find their beer on tap. Well it wasn't on tap, but they did have many other choices, which I am totally in favor of, I love a good selection of beer. In true Oslo fashion the beer wasn't cheap, and the Schous Pils was the best deal.
The food prices weren't horrible, but the food itself was just ok. We started with the Tzatziki dip and chose baguette as our dipping option. The baguette surprisingly wasn't great, I suspect it wasn't homemade but the frozen then heated up variety. The dip itself was ok, nothing amazing, and I like tzatziki. For dinner we decided to share the beef burrito. It can with some nice greens on the side and a very strange "mexican" type couscous/rice/I dunno know what. The burrito itself was ok, they weren't stingy on the filling and it was nicely spiced.
Service here was spot on. The vibe of the place inside is cozy and kind of an old pub style. My three star rating I guess comes from it wasn't memorable, the food was just ok, and I am not sure I would vote to come back in the future.
