On our first visit to the island and being vegan there are limited options available. My daughter and I first visited this place on a busy night, tables were limited so we were sat at the bench over looking the sea...and what a beautiful view we had. I ordered the veg fajitas and my daughter ordered the chicken enchiladas. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food. My fajitas were stunning and sizzling and the chicken enchiladas were succulent! The service can be a little slow and the server was too quick to take my plate even though I hadn't finished but my daughter had. I told her to come back. We loved the place so much we went again for a late lunch. Although less busy and the service was a little slower. I could not fault our server. She was attentive and suggested other vegan options for me, this time I tried the burrito and my daughter ate the chicken salad....OMG it was divine. If you're ever on the island I would suggest visiting....you will not be disappointed!

Been a while and tagging for memories. But remember enjoying our meals and drinks here…and good views too 🙌

Cafe Sol is conveniently located at the beginning of the Gap, and offers great service with friendly and attentive staff! It is close to a beautiful space overlooking the sea, and you can get magnificent pictures as the sun sets. It's wonderful to walk up from the restaurant after dinner, past all the other lovely restaurants and bars that the Gap has to offer! We loved the vibe, and of course the food, and will definitely be there again!

Best hard taco I’ve had. EVER. I don’t know what they did to the beef but we loved it! Practically drank their salsa it was so good. Everything we ate was really good. Prices are about average for the island. Had a lime margarita which tasted odd and I think he said they put him it. That would explain the “odd” taste and I didn’t get a second one. We’re going back for sure.

The service a great here, friendly, fast, and attentive. The food is ok. The cheese on the nachos is.. grainy? And somewhat bland. The kids nachos get about half the accoutrements the adult nachos do. The food was very filling. It’s a very open cafe, and they have a lot of fans, but the breeze isn’t great so on hot stagnant days it could be too hot to enjoy a meal.

I've been here for 3 years and only just visited this place...the food was delicious! I can't wait to go back. The staff were great and bought out a cake for our friend whose birthday it was. It was rather loud and hard to talk, I think it was more of a bar vibe than dinner. Everyone loved their food. I would probably go back for a day time meal instead next time or even a take away

Love Mexican food but I am very picky and was not sure about here. Two nights it was in wait for almost an hour and had a line. So was leaving to the airport and had some time so decided to try it out. As I have found out Barbados is extremely expensive, outside of Paris the most of anywhere I have been (this is country #63) so prices were astronomically high but the same as everything else in the country. However, with that said, all the food I have had is amazing! I am a queso afectianato so didn’t try any here. However, I had the spicy beef burrito and the beef was flavored perfectly. Fairly good size burrito and had a small handful of chips with it. The taste was good. Surprisingly enough it was very good. Would recommend if you want to get a break from seafood and other common Barbados food.

Conveniently located at the beginning of the Gap. Very busy, good food. Happy hour is 5-6 p.m. Staff seemed keen to get us to order more and move us on as soon as we finished eating.
