"Stockholm Sips and Snacks To take a break, or to fika, is an integral part of Swedish culture, and many locals escape to cafés at least once a day. The word fika was once slang for kaffi (coffee). But fika is more than a cup of joe. The ritual often involves pastries, or fikabröd , such as kanelbullar (cinnamon rolls) and mazarin (marzipan tarts). Café String serves thin pancakes topped with lingonberries and ice cream—a classic Swedish meal, not dessert. Nice and cozy bar in Sodermalm, there is a quite atmosphere. The chairs are comfortable and "old style". The classic Fika, this time with brownies was very good. Nice place to hang out and take something to eat in the afternoon.

The coffee was good and the Oreo Milkshake was quite good, but could have been better. While the staff is really friendly the cafe can get rather noisy and loud due to the open space. There are some funky chairs in the windows so you can sit above everyone else. Fine for a quick coffee but not for dates or conversations.

Looked bohemian and cute, however we were highly disappointed with the products and service - we ordered 5 euro milkshakes and were served something entirely different from what the drink looked like on the ad. When we pointed this out to the guy at the counter he pretended to not see the difference and offered nothing to make up for the false advertisement leaving us to feel scammed and ripped off. We later went back and demanded money back from a waiter - who was nice - but again this was at the initiative of us, the customers. Ultimately, far from impressive or professionally run café.

A great brunch buffet at a very reasonable price. The terrasse is great on sunny days to relax while enjoying your brunch and a coffee or tea. :)

Without a doubt the best coffee shop in Stockholm. Cosy atmosphere with art for sale on the wall. There is a good selection of light food, such as salads and toast sandwiches. A breakfast buffet is served on weekends.

Sooo slow : 30 min before having a hot chocolate (not good) with industrial whipped cream, and a regular cappuccino Pastries are not tasty, except the apple pie At least, atmosphere is nice

Great creative place with amazing paintings and comics, loved it! Our breakfast was delicious. Only for stars because it was a bit dirty and I didn’t loose he impression that they don’t really care about this. Staff was super friendly but just one guy and I saw customers leaving because they weren’t served. Great place with room for improvements: clean this place!

The decor is nice with old school armchairs but once you sit down you realise most of them are falling apart and sink you to the floor as well the place being pretty dirty. Worst of all was the service, the lady working there barely looked me in the eye, said one word sentences and didn’t smile the whole time, looked like she really hated her job.
